DJI Mini 3 - 6 Month Review

- I've had the DJI Mini 3 drone for around 6 months now. I've used for everything from filming my e-bike and motorcycle adventures to scouting out locations multiple kilometers away. I've flown it in multiple environmental conditions, including rain, severe wind, and even at some locations over ten thousand feet in elevation.
In this video I go over all aspects of this drone, pros and cons, and how it compares to the DJI Mini 3 Pro. Enjoy!

Also you wouldn’t need a license when you go overweight. You simply have to register with the FAA , like $20 every 5 years. You only need a license when you are making money from the footage. But aren’t we all students in life? 😊

I bought mine about a month ago in the UK for £579. It came with the RC control with the screen. I coming from the Mini 2 so don’t miss any of the pro feature. I’d have to pay another £400 to get a Mini 4 Pro. The camera is a marked improvement from the Mini 2, the Mini 3 is more responsive in flight and as you say quieter. Couple of negatives are the bag that came with the fly more combo is too small to comfortably fit the drone and accessories and there’s no propeller holder, and before I forget, they no longer supply charging plugs with drones.
DJI is really good, I also have a DJI Mini 3, greetings, a hobby
DJI MINI 3 is great when come to BASIC drone service to client. The Drone is already at reasonable price and can produce amazing aerial footage.
I cant wait to get mine in the next couple of days it has to be one of the best drone for the price
Very suspired with the wind resistance on it, I've had no issue with flying even if the strong wind warning is beeping at me.
Yeah I’ve been in some insane wind but I just pop it into sport mode and have no issue. Plenty of margin with the warning.
Just bought this drone and had my mini-mavic that I brought with me to the Philippines... never even got this one out of the case -- mostly because I only had one battery where as the mini-mavic has 5 batteries. I look forward to using this.

First you have a new sub and the review you did was amazing. Very well done. I just ordered my mini 3 last week. I’m coming from a Dji mini and GoPro karma drone. Always love the controls of the mini and actually got really good flying it and capturing footage. With the mini 3 I know I am ready to make some Ariel footage I can actually show clients and my family.

Would love a drone. Thank you for this video very clear and not a load of chat that wasn't needed. The quality of the camara is fantastic. I take it that when flying fast it would be better to use a 60 fps as to not be to blured?. Gonna save some pennies and look at the dji mini 3 pro.

The only time 60 fps would be a noticeable difference is flying fast and low to the ground. I highly regret not getting the mini 3 pro so you are making the right decision there. Thanks for watching!

I was on the dji website today and then started looking at the mini 4 pro, has a lot over the three as you probley aware of. the low lighting recording seems really good on it, i see that they sell a bundle with a bag two extra batterys and a few other things.......Time to talk to the boss lol.

I purchased one of the "wraps" to hold the propellers in place when in storage. This bows the blades slightly and was wondering if I should store it without the "wrap" or go ahead and use it.
@@whatdoidonext2234 I’ve never used a wrap but have a really nice padded container that happens to fit perfectly with the drone so the propellers don’t get folded on storage. I bet you’ll be fine without the wrap but I don’t really know.

like I'm living London and want to go to Europe country, what do you know?
I lack the intelligent ability when it comes to the discussion of drones.. This video touched on points I have not considered. It also answered some questions about some of those videos I see where the drone will follow the person (target) on a motorcycle or bicycle. The best I've ever done is your typical $50 toy drone from Walmart. This model appears to be quite impressive and you did a nice job covering all of its highlights and comparisons to the pro model. Thank you.

Sounds like your drone is being jammed by security when you fly over football game. To my knowledge, it's illegal to fly over on-going sport game because you can distract the player on the field.

I got a dji mini 3 drone. When I select the 4K 30fps option and record directly on the dji fly app. Neither the picture nor the video is clear. Is it better to insert the card into the drone and then from the card or

You definitely need a card on the drone for 4k, downloading off the app is just for preview, I believe it’s 720 or 500p.

I actually have no idea because the mini 3 is my first drone, but from what I’ve seen it’s certainly an improvement in just about every category.

I want to buy my first drone but don’t know to buy the mini two or three fly more combo for $549 or that two $449 I see that that three has the RC remote but is it worth it ?
I HIGHLY recommend getting the RC remote, but it does depend on how you will be using the drone. If you are traveling and want to pop up the drone quickly 100% spend the extra money to get the RC remote.

Just bought a mini 3 and on my first flight it almost got taken down by Harris Hawks. They immediately circled my drone and tried to strike it down. Spent the whole flight dodging them
I've seen a lot of videos of birds trying to take down drones but in all my time of flying it's never once happened to me. Probably will someday though.

Based on my knowledge, this drone is right under the weight limit so it can be flown without a license. As long as you aren’t flying into restricted airspace, which the app does a great job of showing, you should have no problem.

Crashed it yesterday but luckily i had dji care😅😅
Literally within 5 minutes after I got mine crashed right into my dad's truck and broke the propeller. Luckily that was an easy fix.
