      What side are you on?
I think a better comparison is not the Nazi flag, but the Swastika itself. Many cultures already recognized the swastika as a peaceful symbol, until the Nazis adopted and gave it a new horrible meaning. However, the swastika is still used and worn by those cultures who it belonged to, because they know that the swastika isn't all about Naziism and hatred. Same with the Confederate flag. There's much more to the South than slavery, and before the Civil War and slavery, the flag represented something else, the group of states, the culture, etcetera. It's another symbol used in a bad way that was originally not hateful. SO I think it depends on the reason of wearing it. If it's to hate on blacks, then that's racist. If it's to pay homage to the South, that's okay in my books.

Don’t blame the schools when the home does not push heavy influence on education. Too many students will take the easy way out of their learning by just trying to gain the bare minimum and when teachers try to push the students to go deeper there are so many “safeguards” for the kids like specialized plans that hold the students back and there is a lack of parent involvement needed to bring them to a level needed to educate themselves and learn to think and research the world around them. Schools are the only place most of these kids see and study actual informative factual pieces of such a topic. Without schools all they would have are some one sided misleading 3 min. TH-cam video or a post on social media about such topics.

It's incomparable to the swastika flag as the Nazis supported the genocide of an entire race. I guess it's different in the States because over there , they're told the Transatlantic slave trade was the only slavery in history and never told that it was black Africans that sold their own people to the Europeans.

I think it's healthier to just ignore some people who are beyond reasoning with, rather then letting them piss you off and ruin your day. You also can never understand their perspective 100%. if u actually where informed u would know that oppression in the united states is at an all time low and that it barely exists out of 500 million police interactions in 2019 their were only complaints about 0.001 of them and yet people are saying all cops are had which is simply very incorrect u cannot have one video of a bad cop and say the millions of cops in the us are bad not to mention how many videos are taken out of context and what would you do if someone literally steals ur taser and shoots it at you this is about rasharyd brooks

They tell me it's a Southern Thing. A symbol of the south.
Humans have been known to change things in history.
It seems like they've turned it into a "Southern Thing".

@@slugger7512 you're attached to a 4 year symbol. it's racist. if people in year 2200 start chanting "MAGA build the wall" it's not heritage.
both trump and confederacy lasted 4 years. ain't shit for heritage
matter fact, the flag was created as an anti-american flag. if you believed in american heritage you would just fly the USA flag. it's literally an anti america flag

Im black and even I see flawed thinking in the black race,, Im not going to say community, cause I dont see any community in the black race, but anyways, blacks tend to link ALL whites to Slavery when in fact Most whites came here as immigrants during the turn of the century, some 35 years after Slavery was abolished.
