Ikkk. Even bi is considered 'common' now yet people still hate on it. Wait until they hear about the gender spectrum and it isn't just girl boy and non binary
Being bisexual myself, this brought me to tears. We need to stop putting labels on people and just accept the fact that there is no "normal". Cast off you own bias.
Bisexuality is so misunderstood, I've always been more attracted to men romantically and sexually, but I've are considered women too in some regard. I've yet to be with a woman, I've been in a monogamous relationship for ten years now, but my attraction to women hasn't completely disappeared either. Sexuality is very much on a spectrum, everyone is unique in their love lives and sexual experiences.
Yeah especially the double standard when it comes to bisexual men. My friend (bi female) accidentally outed my other friend (bi male) to her straight guy friend and he was like “oh that not okay “ and that friend had 3 bisexual women chewing him out for that pathetic double standard. Meanwhile he was trying to like “well you’re girls that’s different, it’s okay” I’m just like so it’s ok when you can sexualize bi women but not ok for you to be potentially sexualizes by bi men.
@@DatFwad Basically he came out to us (me and my friend) but he wasn’t out to everyone and I was talking about his boyfriend but using a gender neutral term like SO or partner while she was talking to her friends on the the phone. @@timlions1703 well, there is more than one gender in this world, and us pansexuals are attracted to all of them, we don't care about what someone identifies as. But bisexual limits it down to the two main genders, females and males, rather than all of them such as gender fluid, nonbinary and so on. I hope that helps clear up the confusion between the two.

@@himadri9168 pansexuality is basically you're attracted to to all genders (male, female, nonbinary) regardless of what parts they have. We look more for personality. We have a saying "hearts not parts". We are similar to bisexuals and omnisexuals however all three are different from each other.

I actually enjoyed how many people stood up for him. Because in our society, if a woman comes out bi, people think it’s hot and don’t necessarily consider her gay or straight. But when a man comes out bi, people automatically assume that he’s 100% gay and is too afraid to admit it.
@@bluecherry760 it's technically an effect of the male gaze, directly or indirectly. A bisexual woman is seen as offering an opportunity for an ffm threesome, which caters to straight male fantasies. So bisexuality in women is seen as a quirk or kink because m/f action and f/f action both cater to straight male fantasies.
As a bisexual guy I’ve gotten not “hate” but lots of disbelief. Even from gay men I’ve been with. Even got ghosted because they found out I had an ex wife. Sucks. But hey. I’m happy. The part that makes me laugh. Is I come off 100% straight. Until that moment when I’m in a social situation and comment to my friend how hot some guy is or something. At first people laugh, but the more I do it, then people start to get it. Then comes the conversations. Usually if I meet someone new and I can tell they need to know I will just flat out tell them. @Kueen_Jâmil3tt so biromantic is when you’re only attracted to men and woman romantically, not sexually demisexual is when you need to have a relationship with someone and get to know them before you can be attracted to them
Bi people don’t exist? It’s just a phase? Oh trust me, if I could choose, I’d be a lesbian, and I’ve tried but it just doesn’t work like that... I have a boyfriend and I love him. I’m still attracted to girls. Simple as that. Even if I did have a girlfriend, I would still have a ton of male celebrity crushes. I honestly don’t know why this oppression towards bi people FROM gay people or gay allies or anyone else still exists. I’m bisexual, deal with it.
@Alexxis Boykin Thank you! Like, honestly, I’d love for bisexuality to actually be a phase but instead the love for men be the phase part but it really doesn’t work like that. I’m bisexual for life, deal with it.
My husband is pansexual. He's been with guys and girls in the past, married me, a woman. I don't give a crap who he finds attractive, he can like who he likes, as long as he's faithful. I'm demisexual. Literally nothing matters to me other than a deep connection. So I could totally fall in love with a woman. But, I fell in love with a man. Just because it's a straight marriage, doesn't mean either of us are straight. I will never understand how it's so hard to understand that people can like any and all genders.
people who don't accept other sexual orientations usually are the ones who have a weird obsession with genitals. they reduce people to a penis or a vagina (which are just some human body parts...) and blank out all the interesting facets of a person. For me knowing the gender of a person is the least interesting thing I can learn about them.
The queer themed episodes always hit home and are super interesting to me. I was adopted and my parents grew up in the late 30s and early 40s. So I had to learn there were a lot of things about my being gay that they truly will never understand and I had to accept that. And Vice versa, my parents had to accept a lot they wouldn’t understand just due to the vast generational gap. These were great “guests” (are they guests lol?) on this episode

Bullets in Bacon Grease Quit trying to victimize yourself. Don’t act like being a straight white man in America is difficult. Because it’s not. At least, those things aren’t what makes your life difficult. Also, if you think that being LGBT is wrong, or not real, then you can’t call yourself Christian. Jesus’ entire thing was acceptance, and if being gay was wrong, he wouldn’t have made gay people gay, or bi, or whatever. If you ‘disagree’ or don’t think that LGBT is real, then you’re just a hateful, and oppressive person. That’s the end of it.
As a Bisexual Man I've had people tell me that I can only love one gender when in reality you can love both genders. You can love whoever you want and you shouldnt have to put a label or let anyone put a label on yourself if you dont want to PERIOD

Because the older generation has far more sense.

It is so sad to see that a pretty large part of the gay/lesbian community denies bisexuals despite the fact that they should understand how it feels when our identity is denied by straight people. Proud of that soldier for standing up for the rights of all people despite his personal beliefs, it is ok to believe in Christianity and interpret religion whichever way you wish to apply to our life as long as you don't forget human decency and the rights and feelings of others.
@@hj2479 All jokes aside, I 100 percent see this all the time. Within the LGBTQ+ community, and outside of it, many people delegitimize bisexuality. For these individuals to struggle with gaining acceptance within a community that is already marginalized is beyond frustrating and disheartening. It's upsetting to see this type of "hierarchy" of what experiences are considered "legitimate" and those that are deemed "illegitimate". Especially within a community that is already heavily discriminated against. Make it make sense fam, because it doesn't.

BEHOLD, THE BISEXUALINATOR!!
Meanwhile he was trying to like “well you’re girls that’s different, it’s okay”
I’m just like so it’s ok when you can sexualize bi women but not ok for you to be potentially sexualizes by bi men.
