Hey Carl . Beautiful piece and I love the fact that it rings. Happy anniversary buddy not sure how long I've been subscribed to your Channel. But it feels like we're an old married couple lol . Happy New Year to you and your family take care.
A beautiful bell with a beautiful tone! And, a 17 year anniversary on YT to boot. Awesome. May you both have much joy in ringing in the New Year, and may your wood never get buggy.
Thanks Carl! That came out beautiful! Great choice of woods! And very cool that you could use a real bell inside and make it still ring. I really enjoyed watching this video. And hey! Congratulations on 17 years on TH-cam! Now I'm gonna have to keep my eye out for a bell like that at a yard sale or antique shop so that I can make one also. Happy New Year!
Very nice project Carl I remember when you to do your videos and sit on the stairs to talk about the project you had just turned the good old days well done
Carl, that's a great upgrade! Congratulations on the anniversary! You were one of the first people I learned from, and still am. I am fortunate to have two 6 inch by 1 inch pieces of real ebony as well as a 2 by 2 by 12 inch piece. I think I have plans for the two small ones, but wasn't sure how to fully appreciate the larger one. Rather than just a big finial on a large project I had in mind, I think a piece might be wisely used for a very good sized decoration or handle, thanks to your video. This really was the year for bells, wasn't it? Thanks for another great video and Happy New Year!
Once again Carl. You never cease to amaze me with your ingenuity and ability to understand the wood and make it do what you want it to do? Great project. Really ingenious?
Can the square ended carbide rougher be used as a box scraper? It looks like it would be useful for making straight walls and flat bottoms inside turned boxes and lids.
Nice way to ring in the New Year with that Bell! Hard to believe that you have been posting videos on YT for 17 yrs! WOW, how time flies by! All the best to you and your family in 2025 Carl! 💥💥👍👍
Pretty slick. Like that wood combo.
