As a neuro resident in my first year in stroke unit. You continue to be a great reference. Thanks for all your inspirational work and your way of teaching❤
Hi Zach, long time viewer of your content. I'm in my second last year of med school and even as I approach the end of this journey I can't help but return to your videos to gain as good of an understanding as I can before tackling an upcoming exam. Thank you for always being there for myself and plenty of other medical students like myself, to make even the most complex topics as easy as breathing! You are a truly blessed person with this gift of yours, and I hope you and the whole team at Ninja Nerd continue making such great content for us to enjoy. God bless
I feel bad for the once who have stroke, Seeing myself without hiving stroke now I'm really grateful and excited thank you ( Dr imenherbal ) his name and his TH-cam channel

This is so crystal clear and well-layout that as a pharmacy student tackling a case study of a patient with hypertension and ischemic stroke this video perfectly encapsulates 1/2 of our case analysis, really! Amazing. Thank you so much to Zack and the Ninja Nerd team - this is the best present I have for today!
The only channel where I actually want to Like, Comment and share from how freaking good it is. So useful. Thank you for your time. Ps I haven't even watched the video past the first minute but I already know it's going to be good.
Thank you for this!!! I'm not in the medical field, but these videos help me understand what happened with my mom during her stroke. She has a 100% occlusion of the ICA and every time her pressure dropped she would experience more symptoms. In FEB the blockage was 85% and within 3 months it was 100%. The doctors haven't been able to tell us why. Thankfully our last neurologist took her off the BP meds so her pressure stays a bit elevated in order to help with profusion. Through the angiography, her communicator artery is very narrow and has limited flow and most of the blood flow is coming from the arteries in her face and passing behind her eyes. We've seen several neurologists and they have given us very few treatment options for her due to the location of the blockage and they've said that basically all we can do is baby the arteries she has and pray it doesn't happen again. I can blab on and on, but again, thank you for this information!!!

We now give TNK because of its practicality and half-life: given over 5sec no IV infusion is needed + half-life of 20-24min. VS and Neuro checks frequency remain the same as when tPA is given. This lecture is so amazing 💕 as always Ninja Nerd delivering the best content 🙏 thank you so much!
I like you soooo much! You made my Neurology experience the most beautiful one. I simply love the wait you explain, the fact that you mention the most important things but you also go into details. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE WHAT YOU DO!!! Thank you!!!!
Oh goody goody - Yet another Ninja Nerd lecture- one of the few things I don't have ( yet) but neurology is certainly fascinating And once again it holds ones attention to the end.
Thank you ninja nerd this very helpful to me because im a PHYSICAL THERAPY student and this our situation of pandemic the face to face classes are compromise so this video means a lot to me. Thank you more videos about neurology ♥️🙏🏻

I was curious because my grandmother had a stroke (diabetes).. we didn't know she had a stroke until it was too late and she developed dementia later before dying
really excellent lecture bro. very comprehensive! forgive me but one lil slip I noticed; at around 50:00 you're mentioning the extended 3-4.5 hr eligibility criteria, RE: age i think you meant to say age less than/equal to 80 years as opposed to age more than/equal to 18 years (which applies to all candidates receiving thrombolysis). Thanks again for your hard work with all these presentations!!

I'm only half way though and I can't stay awake! It's because I had a stroke, an Ischemic stroke and I am Blown Away. So I'm saving this until tomorrow.
FACTS 💯‼️🎯 You cannot just give mecication or concrete, absolute diagnosis and approach if you do not know history of the latients case FACTS 💯‼️🎯 He NAILED IT 💯‼️🎯 AMEN 🙏💯♾️📡🛰️🧠🎉❤️♂️⚖️♾️💯‼️🎯
i am not a medical student but i really enjoy your lectures....it really helps me to have a greater understanding how our body work.....Just one question: what goes worse on Beta blockers and ARB (why we cant stop ARB and Beta blockers immediately) these two have increase my weight and change my mood a lot as well insomnia....i am 42 HTN and newly DM (6 month back)....i know its not a consulting platform but just curiosity
I am just a medical student, but to my understanding, if you suddenly stop Beta Blockers/ARBs it's gonna lead to something called as rebound hypertension. Since your body is used to having it's BP controlled externally, it takes time for it to adjust.
I had major acute ischemic stroke at 36, low blood pressure, and work out everyday, low body fat. Still don’t know why it happened…I’m 2 months post, I’m still slow, but becoming more conscious everyday..I remember nothing anymore

What is the best approach if/when the stroke patient is (or becomes) hypotensive?
