Tidy Engine. It replaced the Lister LR1 in the Benford mixers. The Brickies used to put sand into the Canister type air filters to finish early!. We used to strip these down and find sand in the cylinder head ports. Happy days!.

I love your videos and the engines depicted in them. I went out and got an LT1 for cheap here in the US. The plan is to build a slow speed generator to have for backup, etc. I am a certified diesel nut

That is a nice engine. I did see one on a walk behind road roller once. On the subject of new years, let's hope this one is better than the last one!

@@BensWorkshop I know; you keep busy. I enjoy watching them. I’ve got my lister autotruck road registered now, so should have some fun around the somerset lanes!

Just watched your video with interest. I just wondered if you knew what the internal differences are between the LT1 clockwise and anticlockwise rotation engines? I need to change the clockwise engine to run anticlockwise. I the old anticlockwise engine which has crankcase damage, so I have whatever parts are required to convert the other engine.

This engine is still made by lister petter. The company is just about still hanging on.

Hi Joseph it’s from a concrete mixer. That engine is how they come. It’s done less then 10 hours from brand new.
