Remember working on these years ago, they were everywhere at one time, I got fed up with constant punctures on the front wheel!.

I used to drive these in the late 60s and early 70s when I worked at the Mellanear Works in Bootle.😂

Love these little trucks, and yours looks brilliant, I really like it. - Your cameraman needs a little practise in some areas, I wanted to see more of the engine whilst you were describing it, other wise a great video to watch. Thanks I enjoyed that. :-)

We used to have autotrucks (a little bigger and more modern) in the dockyards at Portsmouyh and Devonport in the 80's, great fun to drive the best trick with them was to see if you could get them "up" on 2 wheels and see if you could drive along.

Very nice, how does the drive down to the wheel work and the two speeds? I have a two speed electric start twin i must still fetch from my mothers farm.

How much do these go for now? I love old small engines. Would love anything lister powered but perhaps not looking in right places. Always hanging around the mechanical displays at the Kent Show so will ask next year!

You need a new camera man, he had camera pointed just at your face when he should of been pointing at the engine while you were telling us about it.

jimthvac100 I know; it was my son and he was quite young and inexperienced. He is a lot better now. He went to the New York academy and now works in the film industry in Mexico!!!!! Couldn't make it up !!!! Still got the old truck. Cheers
