    I had a Discus die recently from what I think was Hexamia? Spelling on that. Your video is a few weeks to late. Thanks for the content.

    That was well done. I learned several things (never having kept discus) and you gave just the right amount of time to each portion. Too many folks on here think they're auditioning for a major network job, and are determined to show exactly how smart they are. Your presentation was balanced and done in layman's terms.

    Remember when I had a bloated discus that would not pass his food? You saved my discus by a using a rather benign idea…epsom salt (no perfumes). I was PLEASANTLY SURPRISED that in 24 hours the discus was alive and thriving! This is an an example as to why your are my mentor in the fish hobby. Thanks George.

    This last couple months has been pretty rough for my fish, keeping effort I’d seen in the last six weeks. I’ve lost five of my discus, but over the last few months I’ve lost all of them. I had seven the five that died within the past few weeks. It started off as Finn rot multiple water changes I used salt. I raised the temperature added some meleflex really and General cure no success then they stopped eating in like a four or five day span all of them stopped eating the two with the finrot they died. I took the three I had left put them in a quarantine tank within a week all three of them died to say I’m frustrated. I don’t know what happened it’s pretty sad. They’re beautiful gorgeous fish and watch them all. Just die off like that is baffling.

      They are a Japanese stone called Taiji Stone. Not cheap but beautiful and very easy to work with. Very water neutral as well. You can find them on Amazon. That took two bows for the 75 Gallon. Please like and Subscribe. Thank you.

    The reason fish fall into hierarchy is they are not schooled from juveniles size 2.5cm to 3.5cm in aquariums since its hard to keep.
    Community planted tanks are good for juveniles Discus as the food dosent go a waste and WC are weekly or only if nitrates are high. For my Discus Juvis school of 5 the top 3 eats 1st and the balance recessive 2 eats or misses out but continue to school with the lot. So I don't worry about the 2 recessive gene discus not growing.

    Hole in the head specifically, what can be used?

    • @aquaticconceptsbringingwaterto
      @aquaticconceptsbringingwaterto  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Hole in the head is not exactly as it sounds. It is typically an infection in the head area of the fish, but can occur almost anywhere in the upper body. This can be tricky to diagnose and hard to treat with the right antibiotic. Use a wide spectrum antibiotic for best results. Treating in a separate tank is always recommended.
