This Video focuses on using Metronidazole for Deworming your fish, HEX treatment for Discus Fish. More commonly know as Metro Treatment.
Lot of discus fish keepers feed heart mix which is mostly Home made, Discus fish tend to have internal issues.
To over come these issues Metronidazole is one of the best medications.
This Video shows you steps to follow for Metro Treatment.
You can feed your fishes very little.. If they don't take the food remove it as soon as possible.. Because that will cause Ammonia Spike in the tank.. As are removing the filteration during this treatment

Thank you so much...... 🙏🙏🙏.. If you are treating your fishes in a hospital tank.. Do keep them in the tank after final water change for atleast 1 week... So the fishes get some time to recover from the medication effects and get back to normal... Before going back into the community tank...

Black spots are called peppering that is due to stress.. In few varieties of Discus it is more... So if you water condition, tank positioning, lighting etc are all OK then their peppering will reduce... It's not any disease

*Nothing seems wrong with fish. They had white poop when i had got them, but 4 days of them eating furiously and playing around there is no white stringy poop being excreted. Should i still do the treatment? Or wait for 10 days to see if they remain active and hungry?*
White poop can come if they are stressed also... Please observe them for few days then you decide if you need to do treatment

You have to clean the filters obviously after the treatment... Anyway if the filter was not in use for 5 days all the beneficial bacteria would have died in it..

One of my fishes seems stressed as it's often clamping it's fin, not always and turning dark, but earlier s/he didn't seem to have any problem. It's my fourth day of medication. I'm dosing 2g/100 with 100% regular water change.
