I'm not at all happy to say that I was very early to board the CoD hate train. I'm talking back around MW2 (maybe earlier) was when I stopped buying and resented each game being a $60 copypasta. Then they made 23,718 new titles and people kept buying. Now all the sudden people hate it and better late than never, right. I joined in the hate of the reveal but I have to admit that I had no idea that trailer was CoD until the end. None. I actually thought a side group at Guerrilla Games or another Sony studio were making an offshoot of Killzone. I was about 70% I was watching a Killzone trailer. I liked it.....a lot. Then CoD popped up and I felt like an asshole lol. I'll admit that for the first time in many years I'm willing to give it a chance. More decent gameplay and I may grab it one day. We'll see....

Actually a lot of people are not hating on Infinity Warfare. Even the IGN guys were not hating on it. You just can't judge it before playing the game. So many games have proven that trailer alone doesn't show the quality of the game itself. I don't see how people are complaining so much when they could simply not play the game. I agree that RE7 looks nothing like its previous games (Not 5 or 6) but following in Outlast's footsteps is a step in the right direction. I think this showcased how the Last of Us changed how Sony and even other studios made their games. Days Gone and God of War is very reminiscent of Last of Us in the way it was explored and played. I'm excited for both. Spider-Man by Insomniac was a big surprise for me. I thought Sucker Punch would handle it considering they have done well with Open World games. The shot where Spidey jumps through tables and blasts through the window was amazing. I hope that was gameplay. I would love that.

From an Xbox user: I'm actually really interested in Death Stranding. There are so many questions to be answered just from that short trailer. PlayStation actually did real well with their press conference, even with Infinite Warfare in the lineup. I'd say both did really good this year at E3 - Xbox with Scorpio, Play Anywhere, Microsoft game exclusives, customizable controllers, etc. Sony brought back some originals (CRASH!), VR games, and new exclusives. Xbox Play Anywhere actually brought PC together with console. So no actual company won. The gamers won.

Actually a lot of people are not hating on Infinity Warfare. Even the IGN guys were not hating on it. You just can't judge it before playing the game. So many games have proven that trailer alone doesn't show the quality of the game itself. I don't see how people are complaining so much when they could simply not play the game. I mean, it's not like there is a shortage of games out there. P.S. Dishonored 2 == Game of the Year.

I'm glad you mentioned Infinite Warfare in this trailer. There might be a lot of people who keeps hating on the new COD because it is futuristic and in space. They should look beyond that. Admit it, the Space Combat looks cool, the Boots on ground combat looks traditional, and the campaign is (kinda) open world.

I can't believe what i'm about to say, but finally a proper Resident Evil video game! Last true Resident Evil game came out in 2000 and now 16 years later we get proper survival horror game, or at least horror game. I shat bricks when words Resident Evil came on the screen.

This looks like the brink of change for a lot of different games. I agree that RE7 looks nothing like its previous games (Not 5 or 6) but following in Outlast's footsteps is a step in the right direction. The new God of war also looks interesting, never was a huge fan but I can appreciate something that is made well, thanks for keeping us up to date!

I think this showcased how the Last of Us changed how Sony and even other studios made their games. Days Gone and God of War is very reminiscent of Last of Us in the way it was explored and played. I'm excited for both. Spider-Man by Insomniac was a big surprise for me. I thought Sucker Punch would handle it considering they have done well with Open World games. The shot where Spidey jumps through tables and blasts through the window was amazing. I hope that was gameplay. I would love that.

I'm actually really interested in Death Stranding. There are so many questions to be answered just from that short trailer. PlayStation actually did real well with their press conference, even with Infinite Warfare in the lineup. I'd say both did really good this year at E3 - Xbox with Scorpio, Play Anywhere, Microsoft game exclusives, customizable controllers, etc. Sony brought back some originals (CRASH!), VR games, and new exclusives. Xbox Play Anywhere actually brought PC together with console. So no actual company won. The gamers won.
