absolutly true, been looking for a game that can do what RDR 2 did .... haven't found one yet. So after playing a new game I always go back to RDR 2 and every time I'm amazed on how much better this "old" game is compared to newer ones

I guess that's what he was feeling in this game, from most of his reactions to the missions he did. A fun, exciting but moody kinda game. Love it, tho. I would also add Assassin's creed Odyssey. Say whatever you want about the game, but no one can deny the amazing representation of Ancient Greece. It was nominated for GOTY for a reason.

I absolutely agree. Skyrim was my favorite game for years but once I played AC odyssey with all the DLCs it was a no brainer. I was so blown away. I love that game and how they portrayed Ancient Greece. My favorite game.
I love AC Valhalla . But now can t play .ubisoft games locked games for me. It s included extra ps+ but I can t download it . I did all installed back all licenses, rebuilt database and did not work

Because if you play as the female MC Nora the story flat out does not make sense. In the intro scene the male MC is narrating it. During this scene you find out he has a military background so later on when he has to save Preston's group. Since he was in the military it make sense he would know how to use the power armor. The female MC Nora they don't even bother to mention her background in the game i had to look it up. She is a lawyer that has never held a gun. If she has never been in combat or held a gun how the hell does she know how to use a gun right after picking one up and how does she know how to pilot a power armor suit.
I think the Elden Ring was put in instead as a newer and more advanced replacement (at least graphically). This game is inspired by Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.
Days gone and mad max are two games i never had interested in and only played because it was free on PS. They made it on my top 10 of all time list. Ive played over a hundred campaign games over 2 decades. Great Games!!

The only problem is the game feels half finished. The environment is beautiful, the cars are fun, but the rest feels very rushed and comparatively subpar to the rest of the game that was done right. Had they taken the time to do the fighting and especially the bosses with the same care they did everything else it would have been one of the best games ever. Especially if they had taken advantage of the already built-in game mechanics of ripping parts off cars and taking cars back to your shop. If they had made it where you could rob things off other cars like armor, general parts, weapons, wheels, tires, engines, etc...and then had full control to modify and build up any car in the game at your shop, I'd still be playing the game today.
Easily one of my favorite open world games and id consider it a cult classic now. They are just leaving money on the table by not continuing the series. Fantastic story, unique melee based combat, and an open world setting rarely seen (besides maybe yakuza on a way smaller scale). Shit even stealing cars was unique with how you could be driving one and jump onto another like some kung-fu action movie. Highly recommended to anyone who hasn't played it, and it's usually cheap af

tried several from this list and most are not woth to be on the list tbh. RDR 2 obviously since there is no better open world game to be found. GTA V is great but not that great, it's mostly overhyped ( I do play it). The witcher 3 I was bored after a couple of hours, don't see the big deal there. I’ve played several open world games but RDR2 is actually different than others. You literally can’t stop yourself from playing if you start. The most interesting part is, unlike other games, if you’re not doing any mission and just walk around, you will never bored in this game.

The list doesn’t feel complete without a Far Cry game in there. Far Cry 5 had some of the best graphics and a cool story and characters to go along. And the post apocalyptic “New Dawn” was pretty dope.
I almost gave up on RDR2 because the beginning was so slow paced....BUT man what a masterpiece! To this day people are still finding out new things you can do in that game. The attention to detail is like nothing else.
They always do this. They always put thumbnails for things that don't seem to exist. Chances are that they're UE5 tests/projects and not from actual (secret) games...
I would also recommend Ghost Recon Wildlands. P.S. I used to hate Brakepoint, but after 70 hours of playtime, I actually love it and I play it more than Wildlands.
Ghost of Tsushima is easily one of the best open world games ever. Just the landscapes alone make it tops. Its one of the most beautiful looking games to date.
My favorite game is surprisingly left out. Ghost of tsushima. But rdr2,gta5, mad max , witcher 3 and Valhalla are my next favorites. Gotta play days gone next. Assassin's Creed Odyssey was great too tho
Watchdogs legion is criminally underrated. If you are a die hard GTA5 fan and have an itch for a modern open world game with awesome graphics then go for Watchdogs legion specially since GTA 6 is at-least still a year away. I know the reviews are mediocre at best but i am actually having lots of fun. Its like finding an oscar nominated movie boring but you actually greatly enjoy a heartwarming Adam Sandler flick. Just driving around London with a car, bike, a bus or cruising on a boat or flying on a cargo drone can have hours of gameplay value. The graphics and textures are a better than GTA 5 if not the physics.
not gunna lie i used to be so big on gta but since red dead 2 was released i haven’t even beaten gta 5. i still haven’t even beaten read dead 2 and its such a cool game. i personally would give up the gta series to continue the read dead series. the crazy thing tho is red dead is basically gta in a different time capsule

Wasn’t a big fan of it. I liked Origins a ton better and even Valhalla. The combat just felt so off
Cyberpunk 2077, Ghost of Tsushima and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild would have been good aditions. Good video nevertheless.
Don't forget Fallout 4, that's also the best open world game too.

Ghost of Tsushima is easily one of the best open world games ever. Just the landscapes alone make it tops. Its one of the most beautiful looking games to date.

this list is realy not a representative list for good open world games. Some of them are but most are not worth it to be in this list.

My favorite game is surprisingly left out. Ghost of tsushima. But rdr2,gta5, mad max , witcher 3 and Valhalla are my next favorites. Gotta play days gone next. Assassin's Creed Odyssey was great too tho

Watchdogs legion is criminally underrated. If you are a die hard GTA5 fan and have an itch for a modern open world game with awesome graphics then go for Watchdogs legion specially since GTA 6 is at-least still a year away. I know the reviews are mediocre at best but i am actually having lots of fun. Its like finding an oscar nominated movie boring but you actually greatly enjoy a heartwarming Adam Sandler flick. Just driving around London with a car, bike, a bus or cruising on a boat or flying on a cargo drone can have hours of gameplay value. The graphics and textures are a better than GTA 5 if not the physics.

not gunna lie i used to be so big on gta but since red dead 2 was released i haven’t even beaten gta 5. i still haven’t even beaten read dead 2 and its such a cool game. i personally would give up the gta series to continue the read dead series. the crazy thing tho is red dead is basically gta in a different time capsule

Thank you ac Valhalla is so underrated and hated for no reason but people miss old ac but old ac has been gone a while and that’s no reason to hate on a good game it might be different but it has an Amazing story interesting mythology and good gameplay
