I can't tell you how much I would appreciate having a bookshelf provided in my dorm room. I have over 140 books to myself and only a withered trunk to keep them in.
The Florey building hasn't been used as student accommodation for a few years now! We do have some College-owned annexes in the city centre (about a ten/fifteen minute walk from Queen's) that are currently used by students who are in their second year or above, although some students do of course come back to live on the main site too in the later years. So accommodation is provided by Queen's for all years of an undergraduate degree course :)
I remember fondly visiting as a child when my grand father was the Head porter. Brought the memories flooding back seeing the college again.
College libraries are sooo nice in the middle of the night...! You can get through a whole mile of work.
