    Another great video ! Could definitely make this a series with tours of every college. It would be helpful for anyone trying to choose which one to apply to.

    Hi. Loved the tour. If you’re still a student there can you film the gardens in summer/ early autumn. I was at Trinity from 2003-2006 so a really long time ago. Got married at the chapel 😊

    Thank you - that was very
    Interesting. For such a small college (in terms of student numbers), it is larger and greener than expected. There’s also a sense of friendliness.

      Thank you! Which bits did you feel the sense of friendliness from?

      @@Sam.Kramer Your presentation, the students you bumped into, the cosiness of the JCR, the description you gave of the President and the entries newcomers make in that book, the relatively small size of the quads, Etc. And the non-exclusivity of the choir.

    As a student applying this year, would you reccomend that I apply to trinity? And would you say that Trinity is quite sociable compared to other colleges?

    • @Sam.Kramer
      @Sam.Kramer  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I mean I would say apply to Trinity as I go there lol but obvs biased. Probably all similar socially

    how many colleges within oxford?

    • @Sam.Kramer
      @Sam.Kramer  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      About 35 I think

    • @citywise8773

      Although within pointing out that not all take undergraduates as some like Wolfson, St Antony’s, Reuben (the newest one and not yet open), Linacre etc all only take postgrads and Harris Manchester only takes “mature” students (aged 21+) and then there are the Permanent Private Halls and so the number of colleges that take undergraduates for all/most subjects is a bit lower. Still lots of choice though: big v small, old v modern, central v further out etc so don’t worry

      @@cliodhnamalone7493 well, of course that’s where Oxford and many other U.K. universities have really expanded in the last 30 years: postgraduate education and that in turn attracts a lot of higher fee paying international students. The number of undergrad places at Oxford (and Cambridge too) has hardly changed over the last 20 years and no new undergrad colleges have been built in either university (think Robinson College, Cambridge was the last one in either university and that opened in the very early 1980s). The huge growth has been in postgrad courses and places and new colleges/new postgrad-only accommodation blocks in existing colleges
