Thanks ever so much for taking the time to film :) I was never completely familiar with Worcester College, being an alumnus of Merton College ( 35+ years ) but a fellow historian of Worcester did enjoy walking me around the beautiful lake from time to time. There were some absolutely gorgeous swans, with cygnets I remember.
Not so taken with some of the new accommodation blocks to be honest - style wise they look a bit housing estate to me, but I suppose, as long as they are functional ......... :)

A fabulous tour and such an attractive and beautiful college. I love your videos Arthur and watching them has inspired me to revise my Spanish (did A-level in French and Spanish many years ago!). Bilingual English and Welsh speaker too. Looking forward to more of your fab videos Arthur - and thank you for managing this for your subscribers during your studies. Can’t be easy !

Thank you very much Arthur for this wonderful and useful video I can't wait to study at Oxford University Is it true that the university organizes summer courses to study for those over the age of 13 ? I wish you all the best

Thanks again for the feedback! Yes, they do run these courses. I never did one myself but I know people who did and found them extremely useful. Here is the link to the website: oxfordsummercourses.com/

What’s the maths at Worcester like?I’m applying for oxford in the coming month. Thanks!

I'm afraid I can't tell you for certain as that's not my subject, but the quality of teaching will be on par with every other college in the university and at the end of the day, it is the University of Oxford. All my friends who do maths seem perfectly happy with their tutors and the work they have to do. I hope that helps :)

I was at Teddy Hall and had a friend in Worcester, but I never made it to formal hall there and never knew Worcester had its own sports ground. For sheer space, I'd compare it with Catz or Magdalen, both of which have frontages onto the Cherwell and parks rather than gardens. "Most beautiful college in Oxford" - hmm, you're into some very stiff competition there. I suspect that "beauty" may be being viewed through the spectacles of allegiance.

On December 10th 2022, these students lost all credibility.

@@ieyia3971A crazed student tried to break down our front door at 2 o clock in the morning. Possibly under the influence of something, I'm not quite sure. This caused great stress and trauma to me and my elderly dad who I now care for full time (he suffered a stroke just a few months after the incident). The student was never identified and the university (and students) have repeatedly ignored requests for help and refused to engage with us. It just shows the attitude of the university and their students towards innocent members of the community, particularly the elderly. They view them with contempt.
