You have no idea what you are talking about. Zai means drug, dose or medicine in japanese. But in chinese on the other hand there are many different 'zai's. 灾 (zāi) - Catastrophe, 载 (zài) - to transport, 在 (zài) - kind of 'to be'. 在 especially is often used in chinese.

Like she isn't conflicted at all in game this makes her out to be reasonable rather than snippy.

While her character is seemingly more interesting (albeit I myself am not a fan of how edgy her ingame dialogue is), her lore seems rather generic. The whole scarred from childhood and given strength to lead a rebellion single handedly, etc etc. Then again, that was her story before, and maybe that's all that her story needs to be. It's not a bad story to be told, but it's one that is rather formulaic and something I'm not much of a fan of. Otherwise, my opinions aside, outstanding video as always, Necrit! Can't wait for you to cover the rest of the Ionians~
Bigbiggy She reminds me Himura Kenshin from Rurouni Kenshin trust and betrayal. I heard that old Irelia was inspired exactly by Himura Kenshin. Who knows maybe Rot still kept that inspiration. Both Irelia and Kenshin killed other ppl in order to bring peace. But that's all I will say without spoiling it. You should watch Rurouni Kenshin trust and betrayal it's actually really amazingly done considering the fact that it was 1999-2001 short 4 episodes anime. The story might be generic and first but boi it was surprinsingly well written and characters were great.
The more I look the more her lore Reminds kenshin's past. Irelia's family disappointment is the same as Kenshin's master disappoitment. there is so many similar things lol

Compared to most other stories, this one was lackluster. It was like (an event occurred) absolute 0 description of the event, just the outcome. For example she just 1 shots Swain’s arm, how?! Is he that weak? And how the heck did Swain survive?
i think it’s like that so we the readers could imagine the events, we know ionia is a place of harmony and peace, magic flows through the air and influences almost everything. as for the ‘one shot’ thing you’re talking about, think about it mah dude, she basically controls the blades, how they move, the acceleration and force, of course they’re gonna slice like butter, it’s like martial arts mixed with magic and shit. also yeah, idk how swain let his guard down so easy to just let her slice his arm off, i mean, she’s so young and he’s supposed to be this profesional tactician who possesses a raven demon.
