Karthus finds beauty and peace in the afterlife and wants to share it with everyone else. He even objects to the way Mordekaiser and Thresh attempts to shackle the souls of the dead. He's actually kind of a good guy if we look past the part where he doesn't have the patience to wait for people to die of natural causes.

Sett's dad left him to more prominent ventures. Draven would eventually become an important one amongst Noxus, I think. These coincidences are what make people think that way. Of course it's probably not true since they're like the same age

@@Nope-en9bo Keep in mind, it's common practice in Demacia that if you are found to be a mage one of two things will happen to you: A.) they'll perform a "treatment" on you involving drinking magic absorbing stone, which will as a side-effect of what magic is in the setting, causes you extreme pain and may essentially kill you as a person while still leaving you alive by damaging your vary soul, or B.) they'll kill you. This is because Demacia was kind of founded from the survivors as a mage war or something like that, I don't remember exactly but it was something to do with magic causing massive destruction, so each one of them is biased against magic due to that, they also view being a mage as some sort of affliction that they wish to cure.

I'm gonna jump to J4's defense here: J4 isn't fully aware of the extent to which the Mageseekers actually go in how they treat mages and if I'm not mistaken he was pretty big on trying to ease tensions with mages and non-mages to the point of trying to protect Lux by being open to an arranged marriage with her that she just never showed up for. J4 is a young prince who's trying to step into the new shoes of king after his father's assassination that he thinks Sylas is responsible for when in all actuality it was pretty much just Katarina. Despite all that, he's trying to make it work with mages. Either way, Kayle's going to come back when Morgana reveals herself to the world again and she's going to wipe the slate clean and kill every last single Mageseeker so it doesn't matter.

7:12 It's wild to me how detailed Udyr's splash art is. Look at that hand that's right next to the camera, there's so much detail in it that it's sort of insane. Meanwhile you look at Jax's splash art and it's just him with a flat background that has... uhh... those look like carved rocks or something? Really makes you wish that Riot would just get to work giving these champions visual updates or ASUs already. Especially Varus, his retconn was so significant that his voice lines are flat out representing a different character.
I mean they are constantly working on visual updates and asu's despite everything they've got on their plate. These things dont happen in a day and the reworks and updates we've gotten have been pretty high quality lately
I still prefer Jax's. Udyr's has a ton of details but no characterization. It is like getting a horrible game from the 2000 and make it 8k. Yes there are more pixels to it but it means nothing, it is still garbage.
It's hard to give Jax and ASU because his kit inherently doesn't fit very well with visual effects. Everything except his E is just so painfully simple mechanically that giving them weighty visuals is almost impossible.

They're not really bashing her design. They're bashing how her design and her lore don't fit together in any sensible way. Give the design new lore, or give the lore a new design, and they make sense as separate things.
I'm honestly surprised that Corki, Cho, and Shaco still doesn't have real lore to them. Like, Corki can be a pilot from Piltover and have a role there, Cho can be terrorizing parts of Runeterra or at least word is being spread of Cho, and Shaco can fall under the demons that manifested from an emotion or concept like Fiddle or Tahm.
Corki's WR background already assumes that he's from Piltover; it's just that for some reason even in the Yordle release, he just... Coexists with the other yordles.

Unbalanced, more one-sided than not, event gamemods are fun when you are the one winning or else you spend most of the time dead, one bad game can turn your mood for the whole day (and you dont even realise it), "hows that not a headshot" moment every 5mins, stuck for ~30min in a game with mostly randoms who can very easily be worse than the enemy team, basically a team game where you have a good chance to have NO team

Sett's dad left him to more prominent ventures. Draven would eventually become an important one amongst Noxus, I think. These coincidences are what make people think that way. Of course it's probably not true since they're like the same age

or B.) they'll kill you.
This is because Demacia was kind of founded from the survivors as a mage war or something like that, I don't remember exactly but it was something to do with magic causing massive destruction, so each one of them is biased against magic due to that, they also view being a mage as some sort of affliction that they wish to cure.

So far the only lore she has is outside of Runeterra and more related to the parallel world with magical girls and even there they didn't care enough to give her proper motivations for nothing other than she's mysterious and probably evil, double agent or whatever
Returning to Runeterra, why in Riot's name, made her a neutral being with dark powers wishing to be in peace rather than taking revenge on Ionia while killing Noxians for pure fun?

I'm gonna jump to J4's defense here: J4 isn't fully aware of the extent to which the Mageseekers actually go in how they treat mages and if I'm not mistaken he was pretty big on trying to ease tensions with mages and non-mages to the point of trying to protect Lux by being open to an arranged marriage with her that she just never showed up for. J4 is a young prince who's trying to step into the new shoes of king after his father's assassination that he thinks Sylas is responsible for when in all actuality it was pretty much just Katarina. Despite all that, he's trying to make it work with mages.
Either way, Kayle's going to come back when Morgana reveals herself to the world again and she's going to wipe the slate clean and kill every last single Mageseeker so it doesn't matter.

7:12 It's wild to me how detailed Udyr's splash art is. Look at that hand that's right next to the camera, there's so much detail in it that it's sort of insane. Meanwhile you look at Jax's splash art and it's just him with a flat background that has... uhh... those look like carved rocks or something?
Really makes you wish that Riot would just get to work giving these champions visual updates or ASUs already. Especially Varus, his retconn was so significant that his voice lines are flat out representing a different character.
I mean they are constantly working on visual updates and asu's despite everything they've got on their plate. These things dont happen in a day and the reworks and updates we've gotten have been pretty high quality lately
I still prefer Jax's. Udyr's has a ton of details but no characterization.
It is like getting a horrible game from the 2000 and make it 8k. Yes there are more pixels to it but it means nothing, it is still garbage.
It's hard to give Jax and ASU because his kit inherently doesn't fit very well with visual effects. Everything except his E is just so painfully simple mechanically that giving them weighty visuals is almost impossible.

I rarely notice little details in Udyr's splashart because I get too quickly distracted by how dilfy and hot he is and just want him to wreck me.
I will always love content creators taking every oportunity they have to bash Kai'sa's design, also Swain is my favorite character and you nailed the description
They're not really bashing her design. They're bashing how her design and her lore don't fit together in any sensible way. Give the design new lore, or give the lore a new design, and they make sense as separate things.

I'm honestly surprised that Corki, Cho, and Shaco still doesn't have real lore to them. Like, Corki can be a pilot from Piltover and have a role there, Cho can be terrorizing parts of Runeterra or at least word is being spread of Cho, and Shaco can fall under the demons that manifested from an emotion or concept like Fiddle or Tahm.
Corki's WR background already assumes that he's from Piltover; it's just that for some reason even in the Yordle release, he just... Coexists with the other yordles.
Demon of Deception is a great epithet although Evelynn do that in a horny way
