      Definition of cure is simple. One should be able to do every thing that an average person is able to do.
      For a diabetic, he should be able to consume sugar. For a BP patient he should be able to consume salt.
      For an acidity patient he should be able to eat spices as much as any other person is able to. Taking a bland diet is just temporary

      Eat only veggies, apples and wild game meat then add a food and see what happens. Tomatoes are another problem food too. Most foods have garbage in it and stress is a major factor. Does sweat make you itch? Most soaps and shampoo have perfumes and caustic crap. Limit showers to 2 a week and short ones with a little Dove soap. Figure what is good bacteria for a body and what food has it. Rashes etc usually occur instantly so you will know what not to eat again.

    Chronic hand eczema over here. I learned that I have a sensitivity to alcohol and once I begrudgingly gave up my favourite vice, the intense itching started to fade. I still have times in the summer and winter where the dry air is a majoy set back (aka hands constantly peeling with no relief from over the counter moisturizes and such), but the ban on booze was an incredible discovery for my health.

      Hey! Same here and I was actually wondering if it was because of the constant drinking. I have it in some fingers and feet. Did you change some other habit, like healthier diet or meditation? Or it was only quitting alcohol? Can you tell me more about your experience?? 🙏

      Did you quit dry air? Just bad advice? I have had it for 70 years and no cure. Stop eating typical allergens such as eggs, peanuts, citrus, milk, wheat, shell fish... quit using stinking detergents, dryer sheets, soaps, hot showers, and clean out dust mites from bedding, use bedding impervious to dust mites. Fix water leaks in your home. Did you have rosy red cheeks as a baby? Then you have it for life. Food allergies are causing it. Clean the house. Use cortisone cream. The body sees everything as an invader

    I have had bad eczema (had large patches on the back of both lower legs for about 3 years which were very uncomfortable, weepy, hot, itchy. I had to sleep with ice packs on them. I couldn't wear leggings or tights) and was told by the dermatologists I would need to use a strong immuno-suppressant cream to manage it. I tried to find another route and tried various things e.g. homeopathy, and reiki which didn't work for me personally. In the end Traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) helped me. I looked for someone who did it (a Traditional Chinese Medicine doctor / practitioner) and I had a consultation. The Chinese medicine practitioner gave a herb mix to take orally and a powder to mix with cream and rub on externally. It took 2-3 months and cleared up. I was surprised and amazed. Since then acupuncture has also helped my skin clear up during a skin flare up. Am writing this as maybe this can help someone else. I am really grateful there is something that I found that works for my body. Am wishing the same for everyone and send my good wishes to my fellow sufferers - whatever type of eczema you have.

    I identified that I have neurodermatitis from this video. It’s extremely painful. I figured out ice packs work well for this. I can’t use creams bc it burns really bad. But ice packs gave instant relief and it made the dryness go down.

    • @cravinbob
      @cravinbob 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Water dries skin even more. Ice can burn skin. Use cortisone cream. Cream that cause pain is actually indicating your rash is deep into the skin. You have to heal it. Use a little anti bacterial soap, cortisone, keep hands etc dry and possibly wrap in clean gauze before infection gets bad. Maybe a little bleach water and rinse, dry, add cream and wrap it up. Do not use any other lotions except cortisone. In 1971 I enlisted in Army to go to "Nam. When they learned I had eczema I was sent home. Dry skin in wet jungle is recipe for constant rash. Water is not a moisturizer and eczema is I believe is mostly allergic reactions and stress. Avoid foods that are common to allergies and avoid chemicals. Get a dehumidifier and set it to 50%

    Guys, never use hormonal ointments. The skin is rapidly getting used to them. In case of cancellation, it will get much worse and you will want to use them again. Change your diet, use moisturizers, get more sleep or even change your job. But do not use corticosteroids (hormonal creams/ointments). I've been through all this more than once.

      100%. When you stop using steroid creams you have a reaction called rebound eczema and makes it far worse than what you originally started with. Besides that the cream gets absorbed into your skin and blood stream. I stopped them and my eczema is so much worse. I don't want steroid on or in my body.

      @MedicalCentric  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Your symptoms could be consistent with a type of eczema known as dyshidrotic eczema. It typically presents with small, painless blisters on the hands and feet, as well as redness and itching. Triggers can vary among individuals, but changes in seasons, certain foods, and allergies may contribute to flare-ups. To get a definitive diagnosis and personalized guidance, it's important to consult a healthcare professional or dermatologist who can provide the most accurate assessment and treatment options.

    After dealing with eczema for 4 years (hand eczema), I determined that my eczema is caused by antibacterial soap, silicone gloves and most of all chrome covered taps.
    After I removed anti bacterial soap and sill one gloves, eczema disappears as from my hands but remained on 3 fingers on my right hand and 2 fingers on my left hand, which was difficult to understand. Then 2 days ago while using the taps in the kitchen I realised that those are the fingers I use to turn on the taps in the kitchen. After doing some research I found that metals can cause eczema.

      You might need to slow your carbs and get into apple cider spray routine rinse routine. Good luck young lady - the cortisone creams could increase the size of the skin issue as well. I did not like when that’s was the only prescribed cream our pediatrician gave us. Managing these conditions often requires careful skin care, avoiding triggers like allergens or harsh chemicals, and using prescribed treatments like topical corticosteroids or antifungal shampoos. Moisturizing regularly, avoiding irritants, and consulting with a dermatologist for personalized care can help manage flare-ups and keep your skin healthy.

    Can eczema also not result in rashes? I have deep itching especially at night. And lately I’ve had intense deep itching on my face that feels more like prickling. Imagine pins and needles being thicker if this makes any sense.

    • @MedicalCentric
      @MedicalCentric  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Eczema typically presents with a red, itchy rash, but the symptoms can vary from person to person. While rashes are a common feature of eczema, not everyone with eczema experiences visible rashes. Deep itching, especially at night, is a known symptom of eczema, and it can sometimes feel like a prickling or pins-and-needles sensation. If you're experiencing these symptoms and suspect you have eczema, it's essential to consult a healthcare professional for a proper diagnosis and appropriate treatment options. They can provide guidance and relief for your specific situation.

      I'm really sorry to hear that you went through such a difficult time in kindergarten. It's important to remember that children can sometimes lack understanding and empathy, and their behavior doesn't define your worth. Neurodermatitis can be tough, but it doesn't make you a 'freak.' You are unique, and your value goes far beyond your skin. As you grow, you'll find people who appreciate and accept you for who you are. Don't let those early experiences define your self-worth, and focus on the people who love and support you.

      If your eczema has just started, initial treatment typically includes moisturizing the affected area frequently and using over-the-counter hydrocortisone cream to reduce inflammation. Avoiding known irritants, such as harsh soaps or certain fabrics, and keeping your skin hydrated are key. If the eczema persists or worsens, it’s advisable to see a dermatologist for stronger prescription treatments or to identify potential triggers.

Avoiding triggers like harsh soaps, fragrances, and tight clothing is also important to prevent flare-ups. Please consult your health care professional

      @marianmoyo3283 Cold sores affect all skin types, including Black skin, in a similar way, though the healing process may vary slightly depending on individual factors like skin tone. On darker skin, cold sores might leave temporary hyperpigmentation (dark spots) after they heal, which can take longer to fade compared to lighter skin. To help minimize scarring or dark spots, using sunscreen and moisturizing the affected area can be beneficial. If hyperpigmentation persists, you could consult a dermatologist who might recommend specific treatments like topical creams or procedures to help with healing.

If someone at 267 Anita Fields is dealing with eczema, managing it involves moisturizing regularly, avoiding known irritants (like certain soaps or fabrics), and using topical treatments such as corticosteroid creams. In more severe cases, prescription medications may be needed. Consulting a dermatologist is the best way to get personalized treatment and control flare-ups effectively.
