I’m running the OME HD with JBA upper control arms, OME Shocks, BWoody extended sway bar links, and SRT sway bars. It handles really well. If I go on anything more than forest service roads, I disconnect my sway bars.
I’m looking to get a 08 Cherokee. I like your set up so I followed you on IG and now subscribed ‘notification gang’ lol
Nice lift kit idea you should go to the junk yard for new suspension parts that are not rusted and under coat paint your Jeep Grand Cherokee before the rust destroys it. 😁
That jeep is cold brother
Thanks for the informative videos. You might try using an ez-out for that sway bar bolt. You can get one at most auto parts stores but I would soak it with penetrating oil for a week or so first.
Those wheels look sick 😎
Thanks JT
What size tire is that I’m tryna figure out what size tire and rim I can run after I get a 4 inch lift on my grand Cherokee
I wanted one of these. Found one already lifted that I was gonna use as a case study, but it was out of state, and I was getting help on that down payment so Criteria lol. Ended up going with the new version with fewer miles on it. It's getting lifted though. Sexy in it own right but can't go as extreme as this hot machine, not the older versions
The real ones died in 98… coming from someone who owns both
I knew but still wanted to see it again 🤣🤣🙌🏼🙌🏼💪🏼💪🏼
What's the size, model and name of your rims and tires?? I really like them!!
I have questions on products from your shop. is there a way to talk with somebody?
I’ve got a 98 grand Cherokee Laredo with the 5.2 v8 and a 1 inch lift with 265/75/15 tires. Looking at a used 2009 grand Cherokee limited to buy rn and let me tell you man if I get it ima copy your exact Jeep that things looks badass
Thanks man 👍🏽
Nice bro 👍🏽 subscribed just got my jeep wk stock same color and everything as yours definitely will keep looking at more of yours vids
I have a 2005 lorado with 2 inch rough country lift kit Bilstein 5100 shocks. I run 275/55/20 tires my rear tires rub on the fender wells when I do some off roading.
Sounds like you need longer bump stops
@@Notrailrated do you know were I could get them
We sell them on our website www.notrailrated.com
I have a identical jeep but mine is black and I am lifting it 3” and putting 20x12 TIS off-road rims on 30 inch tires and doing other exterior mods
That’s awesome 👌🏽
It’s pronounced eeemyou......from Australia🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘love the vids
Appreciate it ✊🏽
Hey what’s your wheel to fender height and what is the model number for the front and rear 5100s?
That is sweet brother!!!
Curious to know what wheels those are? I really like the look.
Mammoth wheels
Hey bud, I just acquired 06 Commander and I was gonna do wheel spacers with a little bit bigger tire and try to do like a leveling kit. Or a 2 inch lift I just don’t know how to go about it. I live in the sticks, a little bit of clearance and some better tires would be nice lol.
I have a 09 commander limited I just did the rough country 2" lift with 1.5 spider trac wheel spacers then put on cooper discoverer AT3 265/70/17 tires. Looks awesome and rides great.
Love the stance bro. I have a 2" spacer lift, Bilstein 4600 shocks on my 2005. I needs some wheels though!
These wheels are quite reasonable you priced, especially if you order around 4th of July.
Shifted Perspective , did your change upper control arms, after adding 2” lift kit? Thanks.
How much did u spend altogether
Hello mate I put a 2” lift on my 2007 3.0 crd Cherokee I’m having an issue now I turn left or right and seems like my traction or abs kicking in as it grips when circling ether way what will course this mate
Mr compre una y 5 años despues me salio este video me encantó como se ve
What model specifically are the rear shocks?
I just bought a 2008 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo 4x4 and would love to get your help with my upgrades...it seems as though there are not many options. please help. thanks Joe
What’s up joe, check out our website www.Notrailrated.com we provide a few options to upgrade your ride on there.

They are Mammoth Offroad wheels
Incluso spacers ?
Can i do this set up with bilstein 5100 rear shocks ?
You’ll need the longer 5100s but yes you can
Thank you, will get them from your page then, the ones that go up to 4inches of height
What wheels are those?
Can I get a link for you're rims?? And tires
Excuse me, I am from Monterey Mexico. I just bought a grand Cherokee 2005. I like to lift. Can I go 3 inches high? Or what do you recommend?
How long have you had them JBA’s on there?
Hi what size tyres ru running on that
I have a 1998 jeep grand Cherokee how much would a 8 inch lift run me lol.....?
So it's a 2" lift front and rear?
What tire size are you running in this vid?
Would this be fine in the woods?🥺
How can i find the bumper u have on
What size tires
Believe me or not i have my desktop picture of yours JEEP for 1 year now. Found it on google pictures search. LOL . Love the stance... PS: Is there avaliable good torsen differential for these Jeeps(WK) .I must order specially from USA. I'm from Europe here we drive 3000cc CRD diesel :) Cheers
You have 4in lift or ?
What did you use to paint your window trim with?
Between the door pillars?
@@Notrailrated that’s right man!
What are your wheel specs
Heyy i noticed u have the same rust issues as me with the Jeep I also have a question do I need new suspension if I get 3 inch block lift?
Sick WK!
Thanks!
Hey buddy, loving the content on your channel in regards to your jeep.
I am in Australia and just purchased a WH 2007 grand Cherokee (3.0), I am looking to lift it but I am unsure why to do.
Any advice would be awesome
Thanks 👍🏼
Did you end up putting a diff drop in and how shitty was the ride with the front Bilstein sat 2
How much is your lift?
Do you remember what setting you set thme bilstien?
Middle notch
In the front Do you run the bilstein 5100 on the middle notch with the ome 2” spring?
Hey man I had my 2008 Jeep Grand Cherokee lifted 2 inches but it keeps braking my left CV Axel, any suggestions or any ideas of why it keeps braking it, thanks I’m advance
What brand is the spacer lift?
What tipe of lift kit?
Please tell me I have a 3.7 O8 and I try to put the 5100 how much left going to give me on the stock spring
Would like for you send me a list of the lift kit you have on your jeep I also have a 2005 grand jeep Cherokee 3.7l that I wanna lift the same way as you do am from the Caribbean islands
What spacers do you have also what tire are you running ?
Check out our website for a pair of 1.5 inch wheel spacers 👌🏽 I run 33x12.5x17 Atturo mud terrains
Hows your cvs & and tie rods holding up?
Looking to lift my 05 Jeep Grand Cherokee limited with 5.7 hemi. Looking to get the old man HD springs. On the front can I just take the old spring out and put the new old man HD spring on the stock strut?
Was this a pretty easy lift to install? Do you need spring compressors to do it or can you drop the front and rear end low enough to install the sorings
Did you end up going with a brush guard or bumper? I’m looking for a good one for my 06 65th Anniversary Grand Cherokee. Yours is gorgeous
🔥🔥🔥🔥
Nice job on the walk around and explaination
Is there any contact info to this business? I went to the website and I can not find any info?
How much does your jeep weigh also did the big tires reduce the speed
It weighs a few hundred pounds more than stock. As for the speed, I installed my hyper tech as soon as I did the lift & tires so it stayed about the same.
@@Notrailrated nice nice I have a 4.7l v8 I want to get a lift kit I don't do offroading just for looks and possibly snow recovery if it comes to that. What do you reccomend I get first once I get a lift kit I may do a 2 inch or 4 inch lift nothing to major just want bigger tires. I heard they have a ball joint issue after the lift?
Stock ball joints are very weak as is. If I was doing everything over again, I would do a 2” suspension lift with RRO UCAs.
@@Notrailrated okay thanks. I just have one more question do you know how I can determine the right size tire for the 2 inch lift?
What’s a great sway bar links for Jeep’s like mine and yours? Or even the extended sway bar links I have a 2.5-3 inch lift kit on mines and wondering the best to put on it to keep it riding smooth from the front and back
Put a 3 inch spacer lift on my 07 WK and my front wheels are toeing bad. They are cambered inward badly. Will JBA upper control arms fix this?? Its so hard to get answers for WKs
You need a front end alignment first and foremost if you didn’t get one after installing the lift. But you will also need JBA UCAs due to the amount of angle put on your current UCAs.
Can i use the budget full 2inch lift kit from rough country with the JBA upper control arm for 2inch lift?
How much did it cost all together, and how much did you pay for the wheels
With UCA control arms and the lift itself it was about $1600. We are offering free shipping rn so you can save about $80 on our website www.notrailrated.com
I have a 2 inch spacer from supreme suspension, and 5100s in the front stock upper control arms . But my riding feels to stiff any recommendations?
Once I get these great additions to my jeep , can I just bring it to my regular mechanic or should I look for someone who specializes in this to make the transformation? I live in NY , I’ve been looking for someone who could do this upgrade to my jeep
Yeah a regular mechanic could do all these mods
@@Notrailrated great stuff on your IG !!! Can’t wait to get hands on my jeep n turn it into a beast !!!
What brand rims are those?
I was looking at the lift I your website, are the rear 2inch spacers included? Is everything included that is on your jeep?
Do you think if you added the 2” rc spacer up front there’d be less rake?
My tire to fender measurements are equal so I don’t have any rake
Just bought a set (f&b) of Bilstein 5100 for my WK. My intention is to run them with stock springs. If i put the front shocks at the hardest pre-load (highest setting) and a 2" spacer in the rear, do you think that the car will be leveled then? Any idea of how much it would lift?
Best regards/ Jimmy
5100s at the middle setting give you 1.75 inches of lift in the front. 150k mile factory rear springs will compress well so with 2” spacers it should look level. Don’t forget we do sell all these parts at Notrailrated.com. We even offer an interest free payments.
@@Notrailrated Thank you very much for your answer!! Unfortunally i live in Sweden and todays shipping cost´s is INSANE! I was thinking of buying the whole package from you guys, but the shipping will almost doubble the price. Beeing a welder and CNC-plasma operator i thought i make my own 2" spacers.. Eventually i will buy EMU springs and the rest of the hardware, but for now i have to settle with schocks and spacers.
Again, thank you very much for your quick response!! ✌
That is an excellent looking jeep.
How much lift did you add?
Thank you, I added 4 inches of lift
Hey there can you tell me what kind of tires are those? Thank you.
Atturo Trail Blade MTs
What size tires
33x12.5x17
For your 5100 struts, are they the adjustable height ones that go up to 2 inches? And what setting did you put yours at
The front struts are adjustable and on our 4” lift they get adjusted to the middle setting
Installed the Notrailrated lift this week. With the 5100’s on the middle setting, OME HD Springs, and JBA arms the front is sitting at 24” with a 4.7 engine, no armor / winch / bumper (yet). Starting to think I should have gone with the lowest setting on the Bilstiens. Rear is sitting at 23.5”. I’m sure they will settle some, but JBA warns about alignment problems over 23”.
Read a report of someone else getting 23.25” with the HDs and 5100’s on the 0.75 setting. Might end up switching to this if it doesn’t settle dramatically.
How did the Cherokee get more fame over the commander
Because it isn't as ugly.
@@kevinsigel1337 the Cherokee "soon to lose its name" went from an egg shaped bug eyed embarrassment to a mini van lmao
I have 06 Jeep wk stock and wanted to put 5100 Bilstein shocks on do I need anything else I was looking for a 2 inch lift
Hey man was wondering at what setting are you guys running the strut with the wk with bilstein 5100 4inch lift
Looks good. I have a 05' 5.7. What is your Hub to fender front and rear measurement? Im installing 5100 and Dobinsons soon and trying to decide if i need to keep my rear spacer. I have my fronts currently set at the .75.
My front and rear are both 25 inches. I’m not sure how much lift the Dobinsins springs give but you’ll probably want to keep the rear spacers.
Notrailrated thanks for the measurements. The dobinsons provide the same as OME. Their spring rate is between the MD and HD
@@Notrailrated How are you running this set up without further modifications to the front end? Anything above 22.5 inches is going to effect the angles of your CV joints, rack and pinion, and lower ball joints... Are you not experiencing any issues?
Tyler Cool It’s a setup that has been around for years. The front end stays just under 4” inches of lift and it keeps your suspension geometry within tolerance to not destroy parts. Besides the full notrailrated lift, we are running all OEM stock parts with 240k miles on them. When we say our lift is the best 4” lift we stand behind it.
@@Notrailrated Thank you. Also, where did you get that grill? was that custom fabricated or did you purchase somewhere?
Nice Jeep, how much did all the lift kit components cost?
$1200, you can find them on our website www.notrailrated.com
@@Notrailrated - thanks for the info, I am stuck between a WJ build or a WK build. Whats your opinions?
It depends what you are looking to do with the build. WKs are great for over landing but pretty much max out at 4” of lift. With a 6.5 inch long arm wj you’ll have a lot more capability.
@@Notrailrated - 6.5" lift.....would you go 35s?
Keoni Stryhn 37s and f all
Is the website still working?
Yes 👍🏽
I send you a pM on Instagram
Still the same IG
I have a few questions as to did you set the front strut to .75” or 2”? Did you use a 2” spacer on the front with the 2” springs for the 4 inches of lift?
I have a 08 GC Overland, 2 inch rough country lift front and rear, I’m having a hard time finding the correct upper control arms, JBA says theirs will not fit my Jeep because of that specific lift, any problem fitting them on yours?
Do you get any rub from the jba upper control arms?
Nice video, thanks for the info. Could you tell me what the most capable lift kit for sale is? I want to run 35's on my wifes diesel crd WK Cherokee.
Our 4 inch lift kit, a grinder, welder and creative magic 🪄!
@@Notrailrated Hahaha thanks Man! Do you recommend your rock road control arms over the Jba ones? rocky road ones seem like less material around the joint. Also what do you reccomend for sway bar disco's? Thanks 🙂
Question! Why do you run JBA UCAs but sell the RROs?
JBA doesn’t let anyone sell their UCAs besides themselves
Do I need to change out my rear track bar for a 4” lift ?
Yes
Hey, love your videos and a great way to promote your website. I'm thrilled that there is an economical lift system available. Question, do you still need to get the Super lift stability control module with the lift? When researching the Super Lift they mentioned the need for the module. I am now looking for a Commander and I plan on lifting.
No you do not need a lift stability control module with our 4” lift
@@Notrailrated Sweet. Hey thanks for the reply!!
No problem, if you have any further questions send us a DM on Instagram or an email. Our 10% off sale will be ending soon so don’t miss out 👍🏽
By any chance you know the part number for wk rear bilsteins 4inch lift. I’m just wonder If bought the right part want to verify?
Bilstein 33-186009
@@Notrailrated thanks really appreciate I had bought the regular 5100 2in for the rear. I m going for the 4inch in the back with a spacer. But not sure if I’ll work
If you have any more questions send us a message on our website Notrailrated.com
@@Notrailrated really appreciate thanks
I tried reaching out to your FB page. Is this business still operating?
what size are the rims and tires ? Thank You.
I think he said 17x9s and 33x12.5s (2 inch spacers too I believe)
Yes Sir
Hey, how much overall does this lift setup give you?
3.75 inches in the front and 4 inches in the rear
Notrailrated total cost for parts and labor(shop) planning on doing this to my bone stock 07 jgc laredo rolled her off dealership 19K miles back in 2009 well maintained she just recently hit 181K all highway miles no dirt but I’m ready for the next chapter!
Labor will take a shop about 4 hours. Message us on our website if you have any further questions
Notrailrated ok ty!
Hey man, tried messaging you everywhere lol. Do you have the RRO uca in stock for the wk? RRO is like out a few weeks, also, ordered bilstein 5100 front struts from you, not shipped yet, are those in stock also? Everyone seems to be out also
how big of a tire can you run with this lift?
It depends on your wheels offset but up to a 34x 11
First, Is quadratec a reputable site? They keep popping up for all these parts. Second, Would 20x12’s fit?
Nice Cherokee.. Just wondering do i need a rear track bar, rear upper & lower control arm’s ? Plus what settings for the shocks front & rear ? Thanks
You will need an adjustable rear track but but stock rear upper and lower control arms will work without any issues. Your front shocks will need to be set at the middle notch and rear shocks are install and forget. If you have any questions please message us on our website or social media platforms. 👍🏽
Hey man, installed a 2 inches lift too but i feel in the rear driver side is lower than the passenger side. Did you have the same issue?
Is it a suspension lift or a spacer lift?
Notrailrated spacer lift
_quality_
No they're good probably just a misalignment
What headlights and how do I black out the corners
They are blacked out EBay headlights, they ran me about $100 and should be pretty easy to find. I blacked out the corners with 2 layers of gloss black vinyl.
Can I run this on a 2009 too u didn’t say this just want to confirm
Yes you can run it on a 2005-2010
I put a 2 inch lift on my 06 jeep v8 and I'm running jba upper control arms and heavy duty lower ball joints but my problem is I keep going threw cv shafts and I even got a few that would start binding as soon as I pulled out of the drive way.did you have to do a front diff drop or am I missing something ?? Please help
Usually you don’t but fit sounds like you need one. Check out J & J Offroad on Facebook. They make a diff drop for $200, mention us and they might give you a discount
Tire size and rims? Spacers no spacers, rubbing???
Tires are 33x12.5 and the wheels are 17x9. They are JK offset so I run 2 inch spacers and at full lock they rub on the body.
@@Notrailrated how bad does it rub on the body? is that at full stuff or just road rub?
It rubs on the road and off-roading but nothing major. I’ve got 40k miles on these tires and they are still in good shape
