    THIS IS BY FAR the very best "information" I have seen regarding the Jeep WK and oversized tires. Everyplace else on the internet (ie: forums) tell you to go to a really high lift and I have always hated that idea. I have the 2006 5.7L Limited with the stock front & rear E Lockers and I love it! I'm not one of those people that needs a thousand mods but I have been looking into this exact setup (rocky road 2.5 + bilstein 5100s). I liked this video so I can refer back to it later when I purchase the lift and tires.

      @@Kordare You're welcome. Any hints for welding on these unibody Jeeps? I personally don't own a welder or a shop but I have friends that do. Can I fit 33/12.5/17 inch tires on my jeep WK1 with factory wk (limited) rims, a rough country 2 inch lift and wheel spacers and have no rubbing issues. If so, what size spacers will I need? Thanks

    Need to smooth that. On a pitched turn (suspension compressed) the tires will still rub. Furthermore, if it isn’t completely smooth in the well the imperfections and edges will slice and grind the rubber.

    • @Kordare
      @Kordare  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah this definitely isnt gonna solve all rubbing but I was mainly concerned about when I go full lock when parking or turning around, at which point suspension isn't compressed. Also when it does rub it hits right on the smooth surface so it doesn't chew up the tire.
