I prefer the Quest 4/5 over the Downshifters specifically because of the look and style of both. I just like the look and functionality of the Quest 4 over that of the Downshifter shoes. I hope this helps.
There are definitely better options however those options are more expensive. These are an affordable shoe but if I were you I would try to try them on in person first to see if they would be something you could use for a marathon. I had revolution 5s they last long but don't feel as good as guest 4 (don't know how long quests last didn't get them too long ago).

Yes it is a light weight running shoe. You can find some lighter shoes but this isn’t bad for the price point.
