What is your understanding of length of each stay, some say it is 180 days which you can extend by another 180 days at immigration with every entry, before having to leave the country, others argue you can only extend once over the entire five years.
Currently my understanding is:
1) I do 90 day report in person at local immigration
2) 90 days later I can extend (or leave) for another 180 days
3) If you extended you have to leave at 360 days.
It resets every time you leave Thailand- for 180 days.
People should look into the tax deal their native country has with Thailand.
Uk has deal to not double tax. If I pay tax in Uk. Thailand don’t tax me again.
It’s a 5 yr visa. You have to leave once a year. Score!

Congrats on your 5 years Destination Thailand Visa. Did you had to provide the embassy with proof that you are a digital nomad worker, in order to qualified for this visa? I was also thinking of applying for this 5 years Thailand Visa, but I am not a digital nomad. I'm just an Early retiree who have a Pension from my ex-employer for the rest of my life. Proof of income and money in the bank is not a problem, and all other requirements such as photos and applications would not be a problem as well. BTW, I'm an American.

Currently just a letter saying you are allowed to work remotely is enough. I know people have constructed these themselves. But if you have a good relationship with your ex-employer - ask them to write a letter on company paper as a favour?!
They aren’t interested in income for some reason. Just equivalent of 10k Thai Baht in a bank account.
The other option is to book some medical or dental appointments. I guess you could also cancel these if not actually needed.

One last question…. On the slip of paper they give you did they ask for a certain amount of time of your bank statements as in from April - now or (6 months)
In HMC they seemed only interested in the balance at the time. Other embassies ask for 6 months.
If you hand your paperwork over and it’s not enough. They tell you what they want before taking your money. So I saw from others.
