We got married on July 5th and spent very little money because my Thai wife is a vendor. She considers the impact of her income on profit and loss in the future of both of us. Therefore, we should spend money appropriately. Thank you.
You go to Thailand, you already know you will need 1/10th or less of what you need in the UK, you can get married get everything you need for retirement Ok so I listed to it all now, your married in Thailand. Same answer, stop paying tax on your wages petrol living costs bloody council tax ! Get yourself to Thailand & yes you will financially get by there too
@@SteveandPim2023 so if you have a pension, draw it you said you have something from the divorce, likely In Thailand you will live well. I can only talk about me, but I could be dead tomorrow. Love for today 👍 good luck
Sorry but it isnt going to work if you cant provide for her. As for the lessons, dont think she is as committed as you or she would be speaking at least basic English by now. Im sorry if you think Im being negative but sometimes you guys cant see what is obvious to others. Good luck anyway!
By the time you sell everything and get everything sorted, you will only need to survive 4 years until your pension, better off in Thailand, in my opinion
Speaking only for me, I adapted to it very easily. Just because you're not being constantly battered to buy a load of shite is an absolute blessing, you rediscover the things we've forgotten in England... The importance of family, good, genuine friends. Strangers you encounter passing on the streets who give you a smile rather than averting their eyes away, or worse, being treated with a hostile, aggressive glance out of fear. What a flucking nightmare what was once, our England has become
How about being 79 next year, definitely not rich, I live in a council house in a shit rundown Midlands town where our overseas guests dominate the place. If she really loves you and you love her then go for it like I'm going to. If you don't you'll regret it for the rest of your life. Lastly; I was hopeless at trying to learn Thai until I committed to throw everything I had in the bin and just set sail. Good luck
Very good vid. Best of luck for your future. Do you not have any old company/industry pensions you could enact? You have 8 years or so till state pension kicks in if you retire now.
I feel for ya mate , my wife could not get to UK either but lucky for me i could get my hands on my private pensions to tied me over till state pension age so i came here 9 yrs ago never looked back 😎😎🤘🤘🇹🇭🇹🇭
Don't buy anything in someone else's name because it's not yours anymore. Don't buy anything for twelve or eighteen months YOU need your money to live on. Eyes wide shut. Best of luck.
petchabun is a nice area my wife has a large house in Phitchit about 30miles south haven't been for 13 years she goes every year then complains about the heat lol
There good women dedicated women but if my gf didn’t speak abit of English we would of failed after a few months she’s 28 I am 35 at that point in life they must be a good level of communication because live is still so fast passed can get very irritated if your working and you have to translate all night wen u get back home there amazing women but hard work if can not have fluid communication
Just come across your blog which was very interesting and well delivered . Thank you for sharing your experience. 👍
Thank you, we are just starting out but hope to deliver good content for English and Thai people
If you get married in Thailand your retirement savings will go fast 😊

Get her to come back on a boat via dover, and she gets to stay without questions

Thanks, but without drawing a pension, I would have no money

You are entitled to your opinion

Thailand is only cheap if you live like a Thai, and for a Brit to live like that is not easy
I'm happy to live like that. To be honest, I don't need material things. I never have, thank you for the comment

Sorry mate I feel for you but didn't you do any research on how Thai women operate?
You can't judge all Thai women because of the actions of a few
@@SteveandPim2023 A few?
Yes
@@SteveandPim2023 You seem very naive. I love the Thais though, and in my opinion bar girls are much more honest than most British women.
@Nigel-ef2ft
Pim is from a farming family in Phetchabun, not a bar girl, and has deep Buddhist principles. I'm not naive at all

Unfortunately the judge gave my ex 2/3 of the house and half my pension
