I love how you had done this, never thought of using my nail to tuck the excess inward, that is something I will surely try, awesome tip!

It would of been nice if you've shown how you applied the thumbs because they are short like mines lol and I want to make sure I do it right.

I LOVED THIS VIDEO BUT I AM WONDERING HOW IT WILL BE WITH NAIL BREAKAGE. THAT'S WHY I HAVE TO GET MINE DONE TO HAVE THEM STRONGER.

Beth Fraley Color Street actually helps prevent my nails from breaking! Any time you have polish on I feel like you get an extra layer of protection, and since that’s what Color Street is (base, color and top coat all in one) I get the protection I need. And my nails are very prone to breakage.

How do you get them to last more than a week? It says they are supposed to last up to 14 days. I can barely get a week out of them. In addition to only getting about a week out of them, I can barely even get the glitter nails to stick.

Brandy Kimmel I'm sorry to hear that Brandy! That has not been my or my customers' experiences at all. Be sure to use the included prep pad on your nails before you apply the strips and even after you apply to give them an extra seal! The glitter ones actually tend to wear really well and I've never heard of anyone having a hard time getting them to stick. I'm sorry you are having a hard time! I also like to apply mine at night so they have a chance to fully set overnight. Make sure not to use any lotions or oils before or after you apply the strips. If you get a little wear at the ends you can always file the tip of your nail and they will look good as new.

I wash my hands and then use the prep pads before application. Within two days they start chipping and peeling off. It does not seem to matter which method(s) I use to apply them, within a few days they are beginning to chip and/or peel off. I definitely cannot get more than a week out of them. The last set of strips I tried were the haunted house glitter strips. These strips would barely even stick and kept tearing as I tried to put them on (not as flexible as the non-glitter strips). I actually had to put nail polish under several of the haunted house ones just to get them to stick fast to my nails. I put the haunted house ones on 3 or 4 days ago and they have huge chips out of them already.

Brandy Kimmel I'm sorry that is happening to you. You definitely don't want to put regular polish on underneath them. The fact that they are not sticking sounds like they are dried out but that wouldn't be possible if you are opening them up fresh before applying. If you left them out or didn't apply immediately they can dry out. I would recommend talking to the stylist you purchased from. She may have some other suggestions for you or can walk you through a possible return process. I've personally never experienced any of these issues and either have my customers so again I'm sorry it is happening to you. I do know some people have oilier nail beds so that might have something to do with it, but again, never had an issue myself or with my customers so I'm just guessing. I would definitely contact your stylist for more help! Good luck I hope you figure out how to get them to work for you!

Unfortunately my stylist is no longer with the company. I have already contacted Color Street and was hoping I could find someone else who has experience with them to see if I could find out why they are different for me than anyone else. The strips are fresh out of the package and should not have been dried out. I have no problem getting the design strips applied (only the glitter ones) and all of them start cracking, chipping and/or peeling within 2-3 days. I am glad they are working great for everyone else. I just wish I knew why they weren't for me. :-( Thank you for taking the time to try to help me figure it out. I will just wait to see what the company has to say.

Hi Brandy Kimmel ! May I ask which strips you were using? I often find that the glitter and design styles are much more durable than the single colors.
