That car can actually take some Race prepared Ferraris,corvettes and any car inferior to its group. The least we can say, is that that Porsche is fast, pretty fast . It might be the best racecar ever made. LMP1.
That corner, at 18 minutes , 237 KPH, up to 2, 3 g. The car handles it pretty well. But at the same corner, without traffic, it can go faster, way faster. I suggest you toi watch the onbaord videos, on youtube, so you can see with your eyes mate ^^
And I don't know if its a setting that has been done or not but 7th gear is insanely slow.. If you watch a real 919 hybrid lap during the 24h they reach like 340kph in the main strait.. in this game they don't even make it to 300...

That is to say chase chase camera is nicer but you prefer using it to lure potential viewers who end up seeing bunnet view all through your video. I don't glike such click bait.

the 919 feels unrealisticly slow on the straights, it barely hits 300, when it should hit over 320-330 on the mulsainne straight
In gt7, there is BoP for online races.
The 919 here is modified to have less power and more aero, so it has a slower top speed.

I think that is what allowed him to save fuel (and hence avoid pitting). He's also shifting way below the redline (to save fuel).
I noticed he shifts pretty early does that help for acceleration in the gr1 hybrids?
