Hi, such a helpful video! Can I ask for a bit of detail about your unconditional offer? How did you receive this over a condition (eg. is it to do with how good your predicted grades are, how well the interview went etc.) and do you know if all universities do it? I've tried researching it but can't find much on unconditional offers for midwifery and which universities do them. Many thanks xx
I’m researching midwifery a bit more because I’ve always wanted to do it but felt defeated as due to personal problems my learning got quite effected in year 9 so now I have been placed in bottom set science (synergy) they say the highest we can get is a 5 (unless we excel on the course and they try to put us on the higher paper) Since the highest we can get is a 5 we have gotten the impression that we will never be able to do A level science or go into medical careers. However it’s my dream to be a midwife!! Do you know if it is possible to become a midwife without A level science and with a foundation science gcse?
I'm researching midwifery at different unis, especially Manchester and KCL and can't seem to find where it says if the practical placements are blocked or integrated (I'd prefer blocked). I was wondering where you found this?
I got offered interviews but thanks to the pandemic it's online and I'm nervous about how it's gonna go. I don't know if I'll do well and cause changing courses was a bit of a last-minute for me I'm truly nervous I just wish that I could get accepted somewhere. Would you have any advice for how I should get comfortable during the interview cause I'm scared to seem uptight.
