That limited edition looks nice and honestly, the game board has more going on than most of the newer stern tables. I like the older 90's tables better than most of the new tables.

Hey Cary I saw some gameplay footage and I don't know if you have a way of getting to the higher ups at Pedretti, but there's an error in the code on the 'Midnight' version where the gangway shot doesn't light when the ball goes thru the right inlane. It actually lights when the ball hits the right slingshot. Weird error in the code I noticed during Monterey pinball stream of the game. Hope that helps make the game more fluid, much love in pinball brother
Cary question to ask them, will they still be making the funhouse 2.0 kits available to purchase separately as they have been doing for those who have old Funhouse games. Or for that matter any 2.0 kits like Tales of Arabian etc.
2.0 TOTAN was done by a different company.
Just put down for the Midnight addition, that new art package is absolutely gorgeous. What a looker !!!! Carey can you please ask Pedretti about there service as far as if there’s issues with the machine ( arrives damaged or problems on start up etc )
Funhouse is my all time faforite pinball machine and i have a very emotional connection with it because i grew up with a funhouse that my father owned.
He passed last November.
Sadly he sold the Funhouse shortly before that, for way to little (his mental and physical state we're very bad from alcohol abuse)
So about a month after his passing i found a perfectly working Funhouse about an hour away from my house and bought it.
Only problem with it is its cosmetic condition. (very worn playfield and cabinet)
A few weeks ago i brought it to a restorer to get it to perfect condition. (the restorer is documenting the process on his website, i can link it if you want. although it is in Dutch)
I'm expecting the machine to be done in about 3 weeks.
While the remake looks great, i think i prefer the original.
The Alpha Numeric Display just fits better imo, the mystery mirror being a display now takes away.. it being a actual mirror, And all of the inserts being clear on the remake looks slightly off imo.
All in all the money i've spent will be a little under the price of this Remake.
What kind of board sets is this using. P-ROC, Fast or something else? And what kind of clear coating are the playfields using?

Cary, when interviewing the folks at Padretti, can you ask them about the version 1.5 game code? I'm curious what the new optional game settings and adjustments are going to be.
This is tempting. Fun House is what got me into pinball. I like this artwork better than the original.
I love the new art package. Curious about the choice to include other Williams characters though. Can you ask Brian if this was a creative choice by him to give the fans some Easter Eggs or if it was requested by Pedretti. Also interested in his work flow for these art packages. On a full game does he start with backglass, cab, or playfield art?

Cant wait to see some great video of each model and see what the bulld quality looks like ... and the one sticking point on remakes..how fast can they get them out the door and to customers

Cool looking game. On another note CGC needs to keep cranking AFM, MMr, MB etc .. the market is there I can’t believe they don’t get the production ramped and take it to the bank
CGCs goal is to just keep the line moving. They aren't trying to pump out numbers or anything like that. They are slow, but quality is damn good.
I think for $7,500 its priced ok, not great. Personally, Id choose this pro over the new John Wick. And not because of the politics. 😁
Think it looks awesome! I personally don’t love the face on the new art but I LOVE every other little detail. It really does make it look amazing.
Now…we just need a swords of fury 2.0….and not swords of vengeance. I would drop the bones on that day one.
If they somehow could do a black knight 2000 2.0 that would literally steal money. - not sure if that falls under stern now tho.
This is the answer to the pinball issues in the world right now.
They need to make the old games everyone loved, but their “2.0” versions with large screens and animations and deeper coding/rules.
This is what saves pinball imo.

Improvement? Give me the original art all day long! I guess it's good there is something for everyone, and always good to have more out there for people to enjoy.

I think Funhouse is worthy of a remake. I am suspect of Pedretti making it. Bryan Allen art looks great! He is very deserving of this opportunity. The Pinball Co? At least the prices are set.

Sorry but the new Rudy art would stop me from buying the upgraded game! The rest of the art is nice but I hate the new Rudy! If I get one it would be original art with a code upgrade.

Why does almost everything drawn by Brian look like its a zombie or undead? Plus if he would pull back on the things he crams on the backglasses they would look better. The one he did for Aliens that wasnt used is cool. I have a print of that.
Can you do a video on haggis I have no word on my deposit other than it’s not refundable but will refund if they go bankrupt. It’s ridiculous. Hopefully funhouse gets delivered but who knows.
How long have you been waiting after paying deposit?
July 5th. Told Zach even if it’s ready I don’t feel comfortable giving them more $ when there are paid in full mermaids still pending more many months. I guess if going bankrupt they said would cover it which is nice but haggis just needs to refund everyone if they even have the money still.
@@pinballlover that sucks. at least it's just a deposit. I would be very hesitant about paying in full. People need to stop paying in full unless they know for sure the game is ready to go.
Pricing I read this morning was lower than that.

I assume the original sound package (I.e. callouts) is removed? In other words, is Ed Boon still the voice of Rudy or not?

Not a fan of the new artwork package. Way too dark. The playfield isn't bad though.
I don't understand how a 35 year old game with new art can be priced this high. There's no way this is going sell a lot of units
🙄🤦♂️ It’s not just an old game. The code, displays, artwork and all electronics have been upgraded and are new. The same way CGC’s are.
We will just have to wait and see...
This is gonna be a hard sell for anyone honestly, even if they really enjoy Funhouse. It is a good game, but are they really going to benefit with this machine including the two games on it? Also the art package looks nice I suppose but it does look weird, especially that cameo from the lady from Theatre of Magic (I presume), maybe it will get new players interested in playing classic games like Funhouse but I'm still mixed about this right now.

Interesting, just the flat rules aren't worth that amount of money to me. I had the Funhouse pinball machine for a while and sold it because of the flat rules.

Bro we can list off dozens of remake titles that everyone wants and they choose Funhouse. Wow what are they thinking?! All 2024 release titles are way base.
This is their "safe" remake. To make sure they can build and supply effectively with a game they have the most experience with. If all goes well, every game after this is a banger. This is least favorite of their lineup.

I don’t know, it looks kinda cringy and cheap looking.. I’m personally not a fan of it. It looks like a fake Chinese knockoff version of the original machine.

11.500€ for an outdated new game with new art package and new screen?! For 400€ more I can get JJP EJ platinum which is in every possible way a far superior pinball machine!
