Cary , that was awesome . Thank you for asking the questions that everyone was thinking! I wasn’t worried at all but hearing this interview really helped me to know I made a good choice by putting down for A Limited Edition.
Thanks Cary. I hope to see and play a classic version and then will decide if I want one. I had an original but sold it 10 years ago. I was surprised to see Funhouse was chosen as their first remake but I'm glad they did. I'm very happy with my Cactus Canyon remake and I expect Pedretti will equal that in build quality. There were complaints about preproduction CC, so not surprised by complaints about preproduction FH.
Well , I put money down on a LE last week when it was first announced. I know people are hating on the whole thing but that game is gorgeous. If it goes south then shame on me . But I think Padretti has been around long enough that the will make good. Can’t wait to slide that game in between TZ and TFTC .
Funhouse is a lot better known to casual pinball players of all generations as compared to many of the so called higher ranked games. If they can make this work they will be in good shape from reputation standpoint.
Great video and very informative! Remains to be seen however if it will be well received by market, because there’s not really great demand for it like for example Indiana or TOTAN. Very risky gamble with these prices against competitors and current economy. Good luck though.
I wasn’t very impressed with the new Funhouse after playing 2 copies of the standard version and the LE model at Golden State Pinball festival this past weekend. I’m not sure if the 3 machines were setup correctly but the flippers felt terribly underpowered and this of course made the games very clunky to shoot…..first impressions were not positive besides the new Brain Allen art on the LE version.
@@CaryHardy I played them early on Sunday before the crowds got there so definitely wasn’t a heal soak issue as you would normally expect in convention settings. I would hope there were flipper power settings adjustments but made me wonder why you set the machines up that way to begin with? First impressions go along way and so far I’m not hearing positive things from others who have flipped the FunHouse remake. I’m hoping they get these remakes right, very interested in a possible Totan or Who Dunnit remake versions.
Wonder how you ship American parts to Italy, lose margin on the Euro/ dollar conversion, and make it under EU regulations and make this profitable at $7.5K. Seems too good to be true. But let’s wait and see.
saw the live stream of the gameplay and they f'ed it up. The sounds are horrible, the gameplay is horrible, alot of work needs to be done. The game is dark just not appealing. I love the original Funhouse AHH HA HA HA HA edit: and what the hell is that DUCK sound?
@@CaryHardy You'd think any pinball fan would be aware that these remakes have the 2.0 Rudy's Nightmare game code which changes the sounds, modes, rules, etc, BUT THEY ALSO HAVE the original 1.0 (and 1.5) game code which is the original 1990 rules, modes, sounds, etc. Even that DRI374 guy who made a video at the Golden State Pinball Festival was clueless about the 2.0 Rudy's Nightmare game code.

Congrats, I think it’s awesome!
@@nick77353thanks Man ! I’m stoked !
Good conversation. Thank you.
Looking forward to hearing the feedback from California.
Glad Rudy's original voice is in 2/3 modes.
Pre-ordered and anxiously waiting for the next batch of updates...

I pre-ordered the classic. I am one of the first on the list. I went nostaglia over LE. Can't wait!!!
That accent brings a smile to my face 😊
Man I would LOVE to play Funhouse again :)

The only question I care about is when are they doing White Water ….
and five other titles we all could name
That's my PISAN!!
Impressive discussion.
Creature head in the background
I saw the head too. But I’m not sure it’s Creature . I want it to be so badly . But not sure .

flipper power at shows is always a "thing". I would assume there are flipper power adjustment settings.

This is why we mention changing the code and how people don't know how to do it. He was playing on 2.0 code. Original Funhouse code is on both tiers.
