Always lovely waking up and watching these on a Saturday morning. I’ve never been a fan of these guitars, looks wise. I’ve played one, they’re great. Just not for me. 😂 Taping that fretboard is my worst nightmare 😂😂
Hahahaha love this man, thank you so much for the work you did on the guitar, it plays impeccably, the way I’ve always seen it is that often overengineered guitars lack the mojo of something more old school but something about how a strandberg resonates and feels, it just rips in the same way that a strat would! Nothing on the guitar is necessary but just really nice to have, makes life that bit easier when you play as much as I do! I am a fruitcake indeed, it’s part of my charm 😂
Just bought one of these guitars 2019 model, with trem, like you said the build Quality is fantastic, and the playability is so easy, the neck system is so smooth to play, thanks for the tips ect, 1st time here really enjoyed the Video
love the videos so far! if you manage to get a guitar with a trem or floyd. I would love to see your approach to setting those guitars up. I only have experience with fixed bridges.
@MalcolmTuckerDirectorofCommuni Cleaning is always a good idea - a good guitar finish cleaner will do the trick on Richlite. Oiling is not needed. That is one of the benefits of Richlite - it doesn't need the level of care of wood and you don't have to condition it or worry about it drying out.
Update: can’t play the strandberg for a few months as I have a broken wrist from falling off the stupid fucking thing I’m riding at the end of the video hahahahaahahaha
Another great video Dean. From another Notts based guitar tech, F1 fan and biker \m/
Awesome, thank you!

Yeah they’re definitely an acquired taste but the build quality is flawless!
Incredible work dude, would absolutely love to see you set some evertune and floyd rose guitars up at some point ! Cheers
Thank you! Yes sir, definitely will have some of those in future videos :)

Great suggestion! Glad you’re enjoying the videos :)
I thought this model has a Richlite fretboard...not sure the oil has any impact as it is not permeable. But great job overall!
Oops, I almost made the same comment, while holding mine in my hand (light enough for one handed carry...lol) :O)
