Scott, you probably don’t read these but I’ve just gotta say, you are an incredibly talented creator and you don’t need to feel bad for seeking help. This is, honestly, an incredibly smart move, and I’m glad you and your friends can guarantee this channel future success!

Scott Stash been a really nice place to go to inbetween Scott the Woz episodes, it did start as a throw away place but now filled with a variety of content that is fun to look forward to. I'm glad Scott decided to take a more open minded approach on the workload, getting older means having to juggle so much more than when we were young and wanting to keep the quality/quantity of the episodes all alone would have been nearly impossible for just one man. So good on you Scott, keep doing what you love and find ways to keep making it enjoyable for yourself !
Thanks for being transparent Scott. I know what you mean about the fear of having someone else edit your projects, to me the concept seems very uncomfortable. But the way you're going about this I think is amazing! Not only are you supporting your friends but they're supporting you too, and with how high the production is becoming in your main videos this is very smart for the long run. Been watching you since the start, 2017, and I have all the respect for you and your team! Thanks guys!
I've always really enjoyed the more casual nature of Scott's Stash and is fun to listen to his opinions, because Scott naturally has that sort of charisma where he tosses in casual jokes in how he describes things. It's a perfect second channel IMO.
You don't have to justify a thing man. The fact you brought your friends on this and put the effort in to train them speaks volumes. You talking about properly adult-ing really hit though, you can tell it's been weighing on you a lot but I'm certain you'll make the right choices. All the best.
I'm currently marathoning scott the woz (rn I'm in switch 5 years in). That's all I have to say, I just wanted to say that somone loves your videos so much they've spent the past year watching every single one.
I gotta say, I'm so relieved to find out Scott's not editing all these stash videos! The boys really have it down, I didn't notice any sort of differences in the style/vibe/quality and they've become some of my favs to have on! I'm so excited for the future and it warms my heart knowing how much everyone involved is able to get out of such a rare circumstance.
Your burnout explanation is exactly how I feel in my 12th year teaching. I can't do work that's up to my expectations without killing myself working but I can't kill myself working and sacrifice myself or my family (especially when I'm doing it for teacher money). This is the trap of work that uses your passion; you burn yourself when you work because your work is your soul. When you want to pump the brakes on that it makes you feel like you're not doing your passion which makes you question if it is your passion. I wish I had a good answer to it, but don't leverage yourself in your work. Burned out work is poor work, and your audience/students recognize it. I appreciate you taking your break and wanting to make a change. I hope we both find a balance. Thanks for coming to my TED Talk.
Omg I can't believe Scott's stash has been edited by Scott's friends, I was wondering how he was coming out with them so frequently, they've been so well made! I'm really excited to see their skills get applied to the main series more!
love that the guys are getting more involved and that the operation is expanding. i think people trust that you've got a great read on final quality and pride in the work. hope that this thing stays sustainable and happy above all else.
I've been so hooked to Scott's Stash that I didnt noticed Scott The Woz had only 7 episodes this year. We can wait as much time as you need dont trush yourself!! Maybe airing 1 episode per month could be a good change, most tv shows have 13 episodes per season as an average, wouldnt mind Scott The Woz to do the same since you still upload quality content!
It’s really inspiring seeing so personally what the process of transitioning from solo TH-camr to team production is like. I feel like that’s something a lot of aspiring tubers don’t know how to handle yet
I hope that you can find an even balance between being productive and spending time with friends and family. I’ve been watching you for a long time, since about 2018, and the last thing I want is for you to get burnt out or stressing that you haven't put out a video in a while. I hope that Sam, Eric and Justin can help things flow better! I have noticed that quite a few videos on this channel have been edited by them, and I have to say, the quality of this channel’s videos have significantly improved! I’m glad that you’ll be able to hang out with them more and get work done at the same time! I can’t wait for next year and your purposed miniseries! Remasters of some older episodes would be neat. We kinda already got one of GameCube Was Best with the newer GameCube video. So here’s to the future of Scott the Woz, and happy holidays, to you and your cats!
I respect the whole consistent schedule thing with TH-camrs, but I genuinely had an amazing year watching Scott's Stash lol, I didn't notice the infrequency of the main channel (probably because I just binge the older ones anyways.) We appreciate the work you put into this, and I'm confident the help you bring on will benefit everyone!
I think this is excellent news. For a lot of channels, new editors do make things feel different, and sometimes their styles can clash with the old one and seem like they're trying to steal the spotlight - but the new edit styles on Scott Stash have been very cool, and I would've thought they were you with how detailed they were. Additionally, having it be your friends is exactly like you say - win win win win. We're already familiar with them too, so welcoming them as editors is so much easier, and I love the idea that they're getting more involved - in videos themselves and now behind the scenes, especially if it means you all spend more time together. I'd gladly see them appear in the proper Scott episodes more than they already do, the dynamic you all have is one of the funniest on TH-cam, and the Scott Stash stuff seeing you all hanging out is just really nice to see the genuine bonds. Making stuff with your friends like that, there's always the worry "how into this are they? Do they want to keep doing this with me, or do they do it just cos I asked?" So I'm glad to see that's not the case, and they've stuck around all these years and now have become such a big part of the channels. Excited to see more from all of you, and this new collaborative era of Scott the Woz and Scott Stash. Congrats to the boys on their new roles!
honestly hearing a guy credit his girlfriend for the labor she provides was so sweet. and putting her at the top of the list of the people he credits.... geniunely such a sweet moment. that aside: i love hearing someone talk about their creative process and this was such a fascinating look into how scott creates his work. and it's awesome he's crediting everyone who added someting to the video.
I love hearing about the minutiae of video production from creators like yourself. I'm a comparatively new kid on the block, but I deeply relate to a lot of the same concerns that you have. I've been struggling with the thought of my videos being edited by someone other than myself as well, but at the same time I know that grinding Adobe Premiere for hours and hours isn't sustainable and I'll have to face it eventually. And will I be able to make the same kinds of videos that I'm making now in 10 years time, and will they always get better year after year? I sure hope so, but who knows. I have a lot to figure out in my own corner of TH-cam, and hearing that you have your own similar hurdles to overcome makes me feel better about it all. Thank you gamer, you'll always be a channel I look up to
This year of Stash channel has been one of the best. I mean, i enjoyed a lot with podcast like things, and hearing about your honest opinion about games and stuff. I have fun with "the woz" too, but Stash is getting more of my attention
I'm a freelance video editor, and I totally relate to how lonely a process video editing can be. It's fun and rewarding, but it can also be pretty tedious and time consuming. I think getting the whole group to assist you is honestly genius. The whole community already likes them and knows them, and with them being local it means you guys can all collaborate in person when editing. I think the community is gonna see this as a net positive, more than any kind of adjustment, so yeah! Keep up the good work Scott and friends 👍

Resonated with a lot of what you said about working all the time. Sometimes you got to allocate time and "force" yourself to chill out, and allow work motivation to come back naturally. Remember that pretty much everyone who enjoys your work is okay with things taking longer if the quality is improving. No need for arbitrary deadlines!
I doubt Scott will actually see this, but I just wanna say, it feels so... validating hearing my idol just talk about his life. I draw so much inspiration and value from pretty much everything you put out, and knowing that even you go through struggles even somewhat similar to my own... IDK how to explain it. Sorry for being a dumb little fangirl ranting on a video, but I'm excited to see where your journey goes.
Don't second guess yourself man, your content is top notch. Doesn't matter how long you take, take care of yourself and continue doing what you love, that's what WE love.
i’m glad you’ve asked for help; i’d hate for you to be one of the many creatives who’ve fallen victim to overwork. & it’s nice to know the help you’re getting is coming from capable dudes (shout out to the lads; you guys are doing great). anyways, i wish you great mental health, & i’m excited for this evolution

You really should advertise this channel more! You guys have a lot of good stuff on here and it would help with supporting everyone if you could make more main channel viewers aware of this channel, cause I sure didn't know about it for a long time.
You’ve been doing great man, I have been loving to Scott’s Stash videos to wind down after class and work. It makes sense you’re hiring your friends! They’re a great inclusion to the team. Hope you and Kate are doing well!
Wow Scott, I didn’t expect you to say you’re going to be focusing exclusively on Chibi-Robo content going forward, but if that’s what you’re passionate about best of luck!
I've been really vibing with Scott's Stash stuff this year, especially the recent longer videos like the LootCtate video, or the bloopers and behind the scenes stuff. My only things to say are have fun, ans don't get too corporate about it. These types of channels become less enjoyable when you can tell the creators aren't having fun, don't enjoy what they're making, or view this more as thrir job rather than their passion. That's why the bloopers are so enjoyable to me. Seeing everyone having fun and laughing just makes it feel so real and down to Earth. Seen a lot of people lose their passion, or become way too corporate, and it really shows in their works. Channels like Game Grumps, Spoony, Linkara, Guru Larry, and a few others come to mind. Do what you have to do to keep your passion for the craft, even if it means making changes or letting other people do more of the work. While sure some people don't like changing styles or editors, but a lot more people dislike when the content feels like it has no passion. Also, love the honesty. It's been great seeing you open up to the community in the last year or so Keep up the great work, but keep this mentally sustainable for you! We all want to see you continue to have fun with what you do
I think we need a Scott the Woz podcast because I’d pay very big money to just hear this guy and couple of his buddies to just… talk. I’m not even lying, I love hearing him just talk about stuff
He probably won’t see this, but I just wanna thank you and your friends for all your hard work, Scott. You guys make so many people’s day and the quality never fails to impress. Please take care of yourselves, and keep up the fantastic work!
Dude! I'm amazed you haven't hired any editors until now. Divvying up the workload is absolutely the move. And who better than your friends who know your video style best! I think I speak for everyone that no one wants to see you burnt out. It can be tough to trust your passion with others but it will be much better in the long run. Can't wait to see what stuff you have planned for the future!
I'm glad you have help, so you're not so stressed with videos, I don't care about the upload schedule because every episode has been amazing since I've been watching. Thanks for the update, Scott.
Thank you for all of your videos scott! It's awesome to see you grow. It's a big and scary step to ask for help. I have been happy to watch whatever you put out whenever! I look forward to future videos!
Your work ethic is top notch and this is a very needed change that can only improve your quality of life moving forward! I wish you the best of luck Scott! I see the other guys lending a hand in editing as an absolute win because they‘ve always been one of my favorite parts of this channel. Happy to see friends just being friends and help each other out while having fun with it.
This absolutely sounds like the best idea going forward. They know your style and ways of working so well, that their input would still help to maintain the style of Scott the Woz. For what it's worth, I didn't know they edited any past videos, and I haven't been able to tell anything has changed across your channels, which is great because it shows just how well they're doing. Keep up the great work, guys!
Same with the comment about editing. Cinemassacre and even Game Grumps showed how a different editing process can really effect the craft. Based on how good Scott's Stash has been (the "Scott the Woz" feel is still certainly there from videos edited by the whole team) I think it was an amazing choice to bring them on. Shout out to Scott's gf
This is understandable, despite not getting too many episodes this year I've been satisfied with the videos we've gotten this year. I was thinking months ago that you needed editors to make more content while maintaining the same quality of them. Change is something that happens all the time and we are scared of it, but a lot of times change is good and regardless if change if good or not, we must adapt to it. I'm honestly excited for the episodes coming out which I know they will be really good, so I cannot wait for them.
if you need time between your episodes. Take it. All we really want is to see you have a load of fun. No matter the length or the quantity, we’ll be here.
I'm just starting at this platform. I've got 3 youtube channels at the moment, only 2 of them with videos so far. I really appreciate your works Scott since they are funny, informative and impecably well made.

Scott is one of the greatest, really stands out amongst all the other content I watch. Brings that "hanging with the homies" vibe.
22:36 I zoned out for a bit and suddenly Scott the Woz was talking about his "baby." My heart raced after I heard that.
21:33
He said that most of the videos from 2023 were edited by himself.
love that the guys are getting more involved and that the operation is expanding. i think people trust that you've got a great read on final quality and pride in the work. hope that this thing stays sustainable and happy above all else.
You have a very special group of friends, Scott! Cherish them deeply, and don't be afraid to show them your appreciation.
We’re willing to wait as long as we need to for the masterpieces you put out each and every time. Keep on going, Scott!
It’s really inspiring seeing so personally what the process of transitioning from solo TH-camr to team production is like. I feel like that’s something a lot of aspiring tubers don’t know how to handle yet
Scott, please keep your own pace when releasing videos. We as a community wants you to have the best time doing what you love.
Thank you Scott! Your work ethic is insane. You have done so much and your fans thank you for it.
My brain got unreasonably focused on the boxes/drawers in the background not all being pushed back the same amount
Oh thanks
there's probably something in the wall that stops that set of drawers from getting pushed all the way in, like a power plug
Thank goodness I’m near the end of the video or I would’ve kept looking at that for the entire video lol
I actually really enjoy the casual nature of Scott’s Stash.
It’s nice and relaxing and I enjoy hearing you just chat about games and such.
honestly hearing a guy credit his girlfriend for the labor she provides was so sweet. and putting her at the top of the list of the people he credits.... geniunely such a sweet moment. that aside: i love hearing someone talk about their creative process and this was such a fascinating look into how scott creates his work. and it's awesome he's crediting everyone who added someting to the video.
Nobody minds less videos, nobody minds more people editing your videos, mental health always comes first and everyone is just happy to see you
Don’t hurt yourself, don’t feel bad about having help. Just enjoy yaself scott
It’s weird to think I’ve been watching you since 2017. I’m glad to see how much you’ve grown in your art and as a guy :)
0:00 Video start, charity/merchandise updates
4:32 Updates on content, such as breaking down Scott's Stash
7:40 Acknowledging the lack of updates on the main channel, as well as the perspective between then and now
Appreciate it
@@vekastu8424 Not much on my end, everything from the 3rd timestamp kind of explains itself.
Resonated with a lot of what you said about working all the time. Sometimes you got to allocate time and "force" yourself to chill out, and allow work motivation to come back naturally. Remember that pretty much everyone who enjoys your work is okay with things taking longer if the quality is improving. No need for arbitrary deadlines!
didn't expect to see the funny remix man here
I want to reach through my screen and give Scott a hug
I doubt Scott will actually see this, but I just wanna say, it feels so... validating hearing my idol just talk about his life. I draw so much inspiration and value from pretty much everything you put out, and knowing that even you go through struggles even somewhat similar to my own... IDK how to explain it. Sorry for being a dumb little fangirl ranting on a video, but I'm excited to see where your journey goes.
Don't second guess yourself man, your content is top notch. Doesn't matter how long you take, take care of yourself and continue doing what you love, that's what WE love.
Oh no Scott is talking about his Feelings.
I was not ready to feel so proud about him
i’m glad you’ve asked for help; i’d hate for you to be one of the many creatives who’ve fallen victim to overwork. & it’s nice to know the help you’re getting is coming from capable dudes (shout out to the lads; you guys are doing great). anyways, i wish you great mental health, & i’m excited for this evolution
Most expressive and comprehensive of a TH-cam content creator I've seen in years!!!
i'm very glad that scott is finally paying his friends
Christmas came early this year! I got a whole Scott in my stocking!
I have to say I've really enjoyed Scott's Stash content this year even watching it more over the main stuff it's just a chill vibe with Scott and the gang hanging out
You're the best, Scott. We appreciate how hard you work.
Well done 👏👏 I'm very happy that you're able to get help from friends. You are not only a great TH-camr but a great human being as well. So proud of you. 🎉
You really should advertise this channel more! You guys have a lot of good stuff on here and it would help with supporting everyone if you could make more main channel viewers aware of this channel, cause I sure didn't know about it for a long time.
The thing is Scott doesn't mention channel/TH-cam stuff in his videos, so it would be jarring to advertise it in a video
You’ve been doing great man, I have been loving to Scott’s Stash videos to wind down after class and work. It makes sense you’re hiring your friends! They’re a great inclusion to the team. Hope you and Kate are doing well!
Thank you for everything, Scott
Wow Scott, I didn’t expect you to say you’re going to be focusing exclusively on Chibi-Robo content going forward, but if that’s what you’re passionate about best of luck!
I have been loving Scott’s Stash, so to hear that his friends are going to help you more has me excited towards to the future!
It's been great seeing you open up to the community in the last year or so
Keep up the great work, but keep this mentally sustainable for you! We all want to see you continue to have fun with what you do
Quality over quantity Scott. Don’t feel bad to slow down and ask for help. You and your team are doing great.
I think we need a Scott the Woz podcast because I’d pay very big money to just hear this guy and couple of his buddies to just… talk. I’m not even lying, I love hearing him just talk about stuff
Oh man, Scott's Stash is great. I love when you just sit down and talk about something obscure for like an hour. It tickles my brain.
Dang, Scott is looking pretty tired, makes you really gotta appreciate the amount of time and effort he’s put in the vids he makes.
You're an incredible person and an inspiration to me and I'm sure many other artists and creators. I'm very excited to see what you and your friends are gonna be able to do in the future!
I find it very hard to believe that coming soon more than half of my life will have been spent with scott the woz. I was 8 when I started watching you. I’m 15 now. I grew up with you man. Keep doing you
The awesome thing about this is everybody will absorb Scott’s game knowledge while editing and pretty soon they’re all gonna be game collectors
I see the other guys lending a hand in editing as an absolute win because they‘ve always been one of my favorite parts of this channel. Happy to see friends just being friends and help each other out while having fun with it.
I can’t wait for some of the episodes to just randomly turn into Gex, I LOVE Gex!
It's crazy just how much this feels like Scott learned how not to expand his channel from the criticism James Rolfe received.
Scott we all love you so please for the love of god never sell out to Screenwave Media
Scott, you have my utmost respect. I commend your honesty and maturity. Especially coming to your mental health. Big respect to you and your crew.
Nice to hear from you peter parker
you did amazing scott. i could never do what you have already done. we don’t deserve you.
if you need time between your episodes. Take it. All we really want is to see you have a load of fun. No matter the length or the quantity, we’ll be here.
I'm just starting at this platform. I've got 3 youtube channels at the moment, only 2 of them with videos so far. I really appreciate your works Scott since they are funny, informative and impecably well made.
Alright fine Scott this video finally convinced me to buy the Peggle Xbox
Bro, the fact that you even feel like you need to explain/justify any of this stuff just shows how genuine you are (even if it's a comical degree). Excited to see more stuff from you and your new team!
As long as the quality stays the same and you are feeling good I don’t mind it
