Yo I saw this in prison, we had public access on our TVs, and when I saw it I was legit crying. I ended up getting out and had a convo with my mom about how cool public television is and somehow this episode came up and we had both seen this episode and had a big laugh over it. Great show and a fond memory with my mom. 💕 Shout out to PBS and all the mom's out there.
I couldn't love this comment more! And I totally agree about public access/PBS.... Such good television. And I'll be an NPR girly until the day I die 😊

The Stick Buns episode is one of my all time ATK favorite episodes! In general, I love the interaction and chemistry between Julia and Bridget because they are so genuine and appear to really love working together. When they get on a roll (no pun), they really make the show something special. I'm so happy that the show director and producers at ATK don't edit out their giggle time and just let them run with it! Makes the show very fun to watch. LOVE them as a team!
I have been watching so many of these videos on TH-cam, so fun. You two have the best chemistry and lightheartedness. This pariticular episode had me smiling and giggling at the end. Than k you for doing what you do and being genuine with love of food, the science and process of it all.
My favorite too... even though I diabetic, and I can't really eat this, every time I need a little morale pick me up, I come back to this, for the puns and all... and the laugh fest at the end!
When my dad comes to visit me in Southern California, we have a tradition of going to our favorite sticky bun spot on Balboa Island. Unfortunately, it closed a few years ago. Since then, we’ve been searching for a place that could make them as well as our old spot. We never did. Fortunately, I ran across this video during his visit. So, my 93 year old dad and I made them. Eureka!!!! They are perfect!!!!!! Soft, not too sweet, just the right amount of toasty, sticky goo! Perfection! P.S. This was my first time ever using yeast, and it was super easy! Thanks so much ATK! The tradition lives on…..

I love Bridgett and Julia together! This is why I always watch America's Test Kitchen and Cook's Country on PBS and youtube. I love how funny they are in this vid!. They are so likable you'd like to hang out with them.
I’ve only been watching the episodes for a few months now and watching Juliet and Bridget laughing While enjoying the sticky buns!!!! Priceless!!! I’m so glad they didn’t edit that out but eating sticky buns was the funniest thing I’ve ever seen… Go, ladies! My favorite episode!!!
I've made these sticky buns twice. My search for the perfect recipe is over. These are absolutely amazing!!! Everything they claim came wonderfully true.
I consider ATK's opinion to be the only opinion when it comes to baking, cooking, product reviews, etc. Love you guys. You two seem like genuine friends. How great to have a real friend at work.
So great! I love how Bridget and Julia don't throw fancy cooking terms at us. Yes, they know the science of how pectins do this, and how proteins get elongated, but it's just easy to watch them and understand what they're doing.
I love the friendly interchange between these two intelligent lovely ladies. Either one or both of them could teach me to cook and watch me balloon to the size of the Goodyear blimp. Keep having fun ladies and I’ll keep watching.
Julia’s sticky bun conversion was test kitchen gold! I actually feel like I’m off to have a better day just knowing she doesn’t hate them anymore. And I can’t stop giggling at you two mackin’ on those beauties and laughing yourselves to tears. Absolute gold. Cheers y’all! -Phill, Las Vegas
I spit coffee all over myself when she licked that plate! OMG! I've been a fan of the show for years, but I gotta say, I love these ladies!! Don't miss bowtie man at all!

I use to work for a large freight company where they gave their employees safety points. The drivers earned like 3 - 5 times more than non driving personnel. When the company was purchased, one of our drivers (he was a 2 million mile safe driver) had so many safety points that there was nothing else he wanted. So he offered me his points, I chose the Presto Flip Side and it is awesome! The best I have ever owned! It is about 3 years old now and so far has held up great, and yes I use it often! Glad to see I'm not the only one who loves my waffle iron.
I love it when Bridget and Julia make each other laugh 😂 Bridget made me laugh out loud while eating the sticky bun! These two women are wonderful 👍 (and yes, I have been watching the PBS series, as well as the YT channel for years)
Julia and Bridget are such a joy to watch. They genuinely have a great time together. The laughing at the end was hysterical. I had to watch that part three times.
I haven't seen this show since Kimball was the host. As I have always thought, these ladies are the real stars, cooks, and the true heart and soul of ATK. Their chemistry, passion for cooking and food make this a joy to watch.
I made these today (with pancake syrup instead of corn syrup and white sugar + molasses instead of brown sugar because those are what I had) and they are by far the best cinnamon rolls I've ever had. The bread is so soft! I toasted the pecans in the microwave (trick I learned from ATK) and they were awesome.
Definitely in the Top Five Best Bridget and Julia cooking vids. The giggling fit at the end made me crack up, and I'm not even reading a delicious sticky bun! And that little, unscripted, heartfelt "I love cooking with you," Same here, girl" exchange is wonderful. My Dad and brothers absolutely love these buns. When I really want to say "I love you," I bake them. They'll be gone in less than 24 hours.
I love ATK, but this has to be my favorite episode ever. They managed to capture why I love to cook. Fortunately i live in pecan country, (Missouri). I hope my neighbors are hungry.....!
Definitely my favorite episode. Not necessarily my favorite recipe, much as I want to try it. With all the diabetics in the family, that will be a while. I just love how much fun you were having, how much you enjoyed what you were making and each other. Felt more like hanging in the kitchen with a couple of gal-pals than watching TV. Thank you for that.

I've watched this so many times, and finally made them last night. They really are that good. I couldn't wait to eat one again today with my morning tea, but ate FOUR of them before the tea was drinking temperature.
Give me these two wonderful ladies all day long. They've made the series better and more fun since the departure of the original host. And the climax of this particular episode, well, that's just the best ... you cannot help laughing with them. ❤️ ❤️ ❤️
I actually made sticky buns out in the desert at Burning Man, back in ‘02. My project that year was an oven trailer. I varied the recipe somewhat, using maple syrup instead of corn syrup and hazelnuts instead of pecans. The filling was garnished with orange zest. People from the neighbouring camps smelled it cooking and came to look; some people from the Esplanade came sniffing, too. Instead of giving them buns, I had them gather round the camp table and brought it to them. They DEVOURED the lot within a minute! But I managed to grab a handful myself.
You ladies are so fun with great chemistry & recipes. First time I have ever laughed watching a cooking show 😂. I liked Chris Kimball but I can say I don’t miss him at all. Keep the videos coming 👍
