My opinion is that the 350 Legend is an excellent cartridge for inside of 200 yards. I hunt in Pennsylvania and most deer are shot inside 75 yards. Yeah.. you'll have a long shot every once in awhile. However.. since 1982 all the deer I shot as well as my brother's were inside 100 yards. I was on the fence about the Legend or the 243 Winchester. Good reply. I don't know how many people ask me "Is that good for 1000-yard shots?" My usual response is "Have you EVER had a 1000-yard shot?" Sure. It's fun at a long-distance range to reach out at ring the gong. But seriously, I have almost never had an actual hunting shot much beyond 200. One or two. But they were under absolutely perfect conditions with plenty of time to calculate my shot, brace myself and my weapon and decide if my target was going to come closer. In the military almost all firefights occur at less than 100 yards. Much beyond that and it was just a simple "Red-Leg, Red-Leg! Call for fire." Artillery is your friend.
This is what I like about who tee who, everything you need in a video and nothing that you don’t. It’s good to get info from another common man’s perspective. Keep on keeping on brother. Thanks for all the videos
Took a guy I work with couple months ago to test his. I'm F class guy used to shooting fast pointy things at LR . He wanted to shoot it out to 300 yards or more . Got 100 yard zero and went further. Got him to 300 yards but it did not have enough velocity and BC, fell like a rock after that to go further. His scope did not have enough elevation. Told him probably was a killer deer round to 300 yards but that's about it for accuracy.
I think one thing you should add to these videos is the amount of energy of the round at distances. Just because a bullets can get there doesn’t mean it’ll be effective. We all still want a clean kill shot at 50 yards or 500 yards. Fun video regardless!
@@phild9813 The question of "how much energy is needed to ethically kill a deer" is a really complex one. It's not just down to a certain amount of foot pounds. There's issues of wound channel, deformation of the bullet, energy transfer to the target. Then there is accuracy of shot placement. Otherwise, something quick with an FMJ is ethical because it has enough ft-lbs and we know that poking small holes in things is not ethical. Lets look at energy: 350 legend 180 gr Deer Season XP at 300 yards = 622 ft-lb 22-250 40gr Vmax at 275yards = 628 ft-lb 204 Ruger 32 gr Vmax at 225 yards = 608 ft-lb 30-30 150 gr Super X is 653ft-lb at 300 yards But a 300 Blackout 220 gr subsonic doesn't even put out 600 ft-lb at the muzzle. Dunno that we can call that deer friendly. I'd say it's a lot more likely to ethically cull a deer than a 204 Ruger shooting a frangible round that will deflect off a bone and cannot penetrate solid muscle.
@@AndyViant I personally will never use a varmint round again. Based on my own experience only. My main point behind the original comment is WTW has a pretty big book of experience built up. His opinion on bullet selection and how well it’s worked for him would be nice to have the reference.
The energy needed for humane kills on whitetail makes it a 300 yard max rifle for hunting. More realistically 250. Shot placement, bullet construction, and dummy behind the rifle makes all the difference. Thank you so much for the content!
I do commend your efforts, and encourage everyone to practice at least once at 500+. But damned if I trust expansion of a straight wall brush gun past 3. You did prove this can be done.
While not a .350 Legend fan I AM a dedicated, hard-core WTW fan. I must say Adam that your intro speech, before the shooting began, was the most impressive, extremely interesting & the most professional discussion I have seen👍Keep up the great work Hero. (I'm a HUGE fan of the twenty-odd caliber "barrel burners", the .44 magnum & the wonderful .45-70)
Very much looking forward to this one. I've been stretching my Ruger American in 350 out to 200m. It drops a long way, but is proving a good challenge. 👍
My step son just shot his first Iowa buck with a 350 I put together for him. The buck took one shot to the boiler room at about 80 yards and dropped. It hits exactly like a 35 Remington. Thanks for helping me make the choice on the 350.
For a "hunting" rifle, I can see the novelty of trying to hit a target at long range for fun. However I take the ability of putting an animal down very quick and humanely, very seriously. The 350 Legend's energy drops so drastically after 200 yards that I personally wouldn't even attempt a shot on an animal past that. It's not just being able to hit the mark but rather what the bullets performance will be at that range. With the energy dump on the 350 between 200 - 300 yards, you're increasing the likelihood of a wounded animal that will suffer and likely die a miserable death. But that's just my opinion.
It’s not an opinion, it’s a fact 👍 got too many “hunters” trying to play sniper nowadays with rounds that aren’t adequate for long range hunting without them doing the proper research. High BC bullets don’t mean squat on the field, 90% of the time you’ll see an animal with 300yds where that BC just doesn’t matter. I know my .300 WBY is more than capable at taking game past 500yds but I’d try to get close as possible, the stalk is part of the hunting experience that makes it so much better.
+1 for 450 BM! Also, I snuck a peak at the right side of that ballistics chart for the 350L. 600 ft/lbs of energy at 300 yards. Definitely not an ethical shot on deer or other big game. Just make sure folks know we're talking target shooting not hunting here.
158 grain .357 mag jhp out of a 4 inch barrel revolver generates under 600 foot pounds AT THE MUZZLE but no one would say that it's not a good deer gun. Many many many handgun hunters shoot tons of deer deader than Davy Crockett with .357 mag revolvers every year. You dont need the hammer of thor to kill white tails. This 1000 foot pounds crap is just that, crap. Your grandaddy and his daddy killed deer stone dead with rifles in 44-40 loaded with black powder and .32-20 winchester with early soft points, both far under 1000 foot pounds. You dont need a magnum to do the job.
Who-Tee My Pappy had an old saying. And to this day it rings more true than ever. Just because you can doesn't mean you should. In other words, just because you can shoot that 350 Legend to 700 yards doesn't mean you should even try to shoot that distance to try and kill a Deer. That is just plain gross irreponsibility as a Hunter and shows absolutely zero commone sense doing so. Anyone and everyone seeing this, DO NOT EVER ATTEMPT to SHOOT ANY ANIMAL AT THAT DISTANCE with a 350 Legend or any caliber like it. I really do enjoy your videos my friend but this one is simply Jumping the Shark.
For where I hunt, GA woods, I love my .350. Longest shot I made last season was about 80 yards. None of the deer I took last season ran over 10 yards, only two of the five ran the rest fell in their tracks. If I need to shoot further I have my 30-06 for that. I don't shoot for fun much any more but still nice show.
My grandma didn't think because I was able to hit one of her cast iron skillets at 750 yards it was a good excuse for shooting one of her old pans, at 15 I though it was, grandpa agreed with her. Lost my rifle for the rest of that summer
Boo-lahts, sorry for mah tongue-in-cheek utterance, my Dad had many great marksman on his 5th then 6th Army Pistol & Rifle Team. Many of his troopers came from around the world wanting to fight for & defend "something" greater than themselves and THAT was America. I remember many of Dad's AMTU team members but the best were what Dad called his Cajun Cav Scouts, Sgts Cyr and Bastien. They met as they served alongside Dad from WWII-PTO to Vietnam. In the Central Highlands Cyr and Dad would hunt for the group. One hunt was epic, the hunters were indeed the hunted, but won that day. There is an album picture from Camp Holloway, Dec 65, of Sgt Cyr with a tiger, brought down with his personal Sharps .54 muzzleloader. 300lbs @ 175yds through elephant grass, those are the men. The point is marksmanship is similar to hunting in discipline, the fact that you are exploring the possibilities of the .350 Legend beyond "hunting" distances doesn't surprise me. That concept continues to be tested lethally by my son & his men in Mariupol, Ukraine as INTERPOL agents hunting for the Russian Federations' most talented murderers. I will let you know the outcome...
Well now this was a interesting video and a interesting caliber. I think most people are right when they consider the 350 legend to be about a 200 yard deer rifle and that probably is right for most people capability with this caliber. There are a lot of rifles out there that can ring steel at 700 yards and beyond but that doesn't make them a effective long-range deer rifle.
Good info as i have just picked up a new a/r style .350 legend havent got a chance to shoot it yet but now im looking forward to doing some lead dispersion
Shooting downhill you have to know your angle and then multiply your distance by the cosine of that angle giving you a lesser actual yardage to calculate your holdover with. That's why you are shooting higher than what the ammo manufacturer says its bullet drop should be at the given range.
Per the 11th edition of Hornady handbook of cartridge reloading. “Slow muzzle velocities and low ballistic coefficient projectiles combine to limit 200-yard range performance to less than 1000 ft/lbs of energy. It is highly recommended to keep shots limited to 250 yards and preferably closer for best performance.” Ohio straight wall state here. While anything will go distance with enough moa adjustment, the energy a bullet has at distance doesn’t mean it will take game at long ranges. I’ve shot mine out to 200, but haven’t taken any deer with it yet. Being a reloader, the bullets are for all intensive purposes, a 9mm bullet, and Ive shot steel at 200 with a cz scorpion.
I just bought a Savage Axis in 350 legend to hunt whitetail deer next season in Ohio. It’ll be my first time hunting in Ohio. I’m going to buy the same caliber for my son to hunt with me in Ohio but I think I’ll buy him the Ruger American model.
Tests have shown a 20" barrel can add another 192 FPS to the .350 Legend. Chronographing the 165 grain Hornady FTX with a 16" barrel had an average muzzle velocity of 2,257 FPS, while the 20" barrel averaged 2,449 FPS.
I have a 350 Legend but I would never try to take a deer beyond 300. Probably more like 200 or less. I have a 1-6 LPVO scope so I don't trust shooting beyond what I can see. lol
I have the same rifle you have there in the video. I bought it for a ranch rifle. When I sighted it in at our ranch range I was absolutely amazed at the accuracy of the rifle. It has been fun just to see how far we can shoot accurately with it.
Hand load with 115 gr 9mm fmj bullets. There's load data on the webs but if you don't find anything, you can start with 357 rem max data and carefully go up from there.
Got my Savage 350 Legend last year and it took me about 8 different kinds of ammo before I even thought about hunting with it and now that I'm getting .467-.497 at 100yds it will now replace my Remington 870 Express 20ga !! Hopefully I see something this year and I can't wait !!
Hey brother, just wanted to message and say I greatly enjoy the content, and keep it coming. One question I do have, does Remington have or are the expecting any offerings in the 350 legend? Just my opinion but that round with a good ole fashioned core-lokt bullet would be awesome!
I own the Ruger American in 350 legend n love it as a hunting rifle in Ohio n Pa , easy to point n swing while hunting n shoots great groups out to 200 yds with my set up, I use Hornady whitetail 170 gr bullets ! My only complaint is I hate the long magazine sticking out the bottom, I’d love a 3 shot magazine for carrying it around.
If you want to try hit a target at 1000 yds with a 350 legend, have at it!! Could be lots of fun!! But when people start to think they can shoot at a deer at extreme ranges, that's when I start to take offense.
510 yards and destroyed a cinder block the range on on 350 legends and effectiveness is stronger then you think when I say it obliterated there was nothing left yeah hands down the 350 legends a damn good round
I’ve seen 3 deer taken by a 20 gauge slug gun on TH-cam @ 300 yards . A firearm is a tool , Some people have mastered the use of it . When I was young I took a 4 point from 100 yards with a hi-point 9mm carbine . I knew the weapon well , and it was one of the cleanest kills I had ever had on a white tail at that point . Literally seperated the heart in two pieces and the buck didn’t run 30 yards before tipping over . A Dec officer told me they witnessed poachers taking a deer from 250 yards with a 22 magnum . They were arrested and lost the weapon but it shows you how capable any weapon is in the hands of a proficient shooter
I’ve no need to shoot past 200-250 yards. It’s just fun to see what any given fire arm can do. Not necessarily what you should do on live game, but still fun none the less. Thanks for the cool videos and info.
I just bought my son a Savage Axis 350 Legend for his first hunting rifle. He'll be getting it for Christmas. I've always been a .308 fan and I've never fooled with a 350 Legend, but, I'm really excited to see what he can do with it. Hell, he might turn me into a 350 Legend fan. 🤣
Given the range, and enough time and ammo you can hit about anything. Reminds me of stories my Pa told me of how they played with the M-1 Garand and Germans they could barely see.
I have a 350 Legend upper and 300 Blackout upper. I hope to shoot both in near future. We have heavy cedar/juniper pasture. The most open area is 180 yards. I am not worried about long distance, but don’t want anything running off. I think either will stop pig, mule deer or Aoudad. At least that is the goal, if the shot is well placed.
Dropped my deer this year with a 9mm Ruger PC carbine and a green dot mounted on it. Yes it was only 45 yards but it was a pass through and the buck died within 50 yds. Probably like mentioned in other comments, not the best choice from the gun locker but it will do the job. Just like Grandpas 38-40 model 92.
I have an American Ruger 350 Legend as well & I like it a lot. The synthetic is camouflage & barrel is like a pewter color or kinda goldish. I’ve never got to take it out past 50yrds so far but I’m looking for a range with some distance. My first bout action but imo it seems to be real smooth.
More good stuff from WTW, another Caliber I’m seeing a lot of lately. Thanks again for bringing these great videos. Good shooting and gods speed to the WTW FAMILY AND FANS. 🎥👍💯🙏🏻
I use a 350 legend in a AR platform. With the Leupold Freedom VX scope. It is supposed to be specifically for the 350 legend. I used 145 grain ammo. And it was all over the place on a paper plate. But, I was able to get a doe at 225 yards last season. I'm going to try 180 grain this year and see if it gives me tighter groups.
The limit of any hunting around would be what is the minimum velocity / distance it's still going to reliably expand that and still be accurate. I've taken a number of deer at 200 yards with a 450 BM, and would be comfortable with it on deer out near 400. But it would definitely be more reliable in the three to 350 yard range. Also if you reload, and NOT loading it for an AR, you can load it a whole lot hotter and be completely safe. The reloading specs are designed around AR, but in a bolt gun it can be loaded easily up to 50,000 PSI.
Im thinking about getting a 350 legend the cva scout. In Illinois they finally are letting us hunt wit straight wall rifles but can only be single shot or i wound go with a Ruger American.
Sighted at 100. Then out to 300. Then out to 500. Documented all my adjustments for repeatability. Now. 500 all day long 3" groups. My weapon system is my weapon system. EVERY weapon system is different. The most important factors are, in order of importance, a quality weapon, quality optics, trigger pull, steady shooting platform/surface and documentation of every shot. A high-power spotting scope is a must! Your mistakes multiply exponentially at distance. So... Practice, practice, practice! FYI: I sighted my iron sights at 250. Stuff happens. Optics can fail. Be prepared, Scouts!
Fun stuff! I’d agree with most that mine is a 200 yard max hunting rifle. Fixed scope zero at 150 yards so I get 5.5” drop at 200. Energy and scope compensation pretty much stops there
Remington did this in 1983 and really didn't do well, but with just slightly more power now and certain state laws applying to straight wall cartridges it might gain popularity, maybe.
I would really like to see more long range shooting with this caliber. I am very interested in getting a 350 Legend for my self and would love to see a lot more videos (hunting, long range and precision shooting). Your videos are always very well thought out informative as well as entertaining keep up the great work!!
The lack of power at longer ranges was the whole point of this round. It was designed for states that don't allow necked down cartridges that can carry energy long distances. Its a rifle alternative to having to use a shotgun for hunting.
I has a 375winchester , just a hot rod version of the 3855 Winchester. I never kilked 1 deer i could find with it , heard lots of people liked them . My brother in law wanted it so I gave it to him . And bought a Remington 742 3006.
Due to the changing regulations for hunting here in Ohio a Straight walled cartridge is required with a maximum overall length. I went to Cabelas in Wheeling, WV to pick up my smoker supplies for winter. They have extensive firearm shopping there. Of course. I knew nothing about straight walled cartridges. I looked at the .350, .400, .360 Buck hammer, and the .450. My first inclination would be the .450. I talked with the sales smith and after complete and throughout transfer of knowledge my decision was the .350 Ruger. We'll see what happens huntin...
Never confuse punching paper or steel and hunting. 350 Legend and 30-30 are both good hunting cartridges with about the same limitations determined by their ballistics.
I love your enthusiasm in all these videos! 350 legend is definitely a cool caliber, maybe if I buy another American 🇺🇸 Rifle that’s what my next caliber would be… I often see that caliber on the shelf when others is gone,
This is true but I noticed in my area at least that the price of 350L has jumped exponentially compared to what it was. I think they figured out that it’s gotten popular and are cleaning up on selling us the ammo.

In the military almost all firefights occur at less than 100 yards. Much beyond that and it was just a simple "Red-Leg, Red-Leg! Call for fire." Artillery is your friend.
"THIS is about to be a REALLY fun video!!"
I agree!
You know it!
Nailed it!!! My father in law just bought one and I’m a proud owner of a Ruger 450 bushmaster!!! I hear (lol) Who Tee Who loves them both!!!!
This is what I like about who tee who, everything you need in a video and nothing that you don’t. It’s good to get info from another common man’s perspective. Keep on keeping on brother. Thanks for all the videos
Appreciate you watching
For some reason I have a feeling this is about to be a really fun video
Yeah, for sure! I think that’s why people say the 350 is a 200 yard deer rifle; it just doesn’t have the oomph behind it. Fun video nonetheless!
That’s so true the trigger is the point. That’s right our department uses the AR-15 smooth as a silhouette.
Lets look at energy:
350 legend 180 gr Deer Season XP at 300 yards = 622 ft-lb
22-250 40gr Vmax at 275yards = 628 ft-lb
204 Ruger 32 gr Vmax at 225 yards = 608 ft-lb
30-30 150 gr Super X is 653ft-lb at 300 yards
But a 300 Blackout 220 gr subsonic doesn't even put out 600 ft-lb at the muzzle.
@@mikehonchohimself3650 I love using varmint rounds.
on paper.
The energy needed for humane kills on whitetail makes it a 300 yard max rifle for hunting. More realistically 250. Shot placement, bullet construction, and dummy behind the rifle makes all the difference. Thank you so much for the content!
Thanks for watching!
I do commend your efforts, and encourage everyone to practice at least once at 500+. But damned if I trust expansion of a straight wall brush gun past 3. You did prove this can be done.
My 350 Ruger American 16” barrel sighted in at 100’ it’s 6” low @ 200’ with hornady 170 gr bullets
‘ means feet.
Appreciate you watching bigtime
I’m a huge fan of the .350 Legend. In Michigan it is the perfect whitetail round. Out West I would go for a different caliber for long range hunting.
Very much looking forward to this one. I've been stretching my Ruger American in 350 out to 200m. It drops a long way, but is proving a good challenge. 👍
Thanks for tuning in!
My step son just shot his first Iowa buck with a 350 I put together for him. The buck took one shot to the boiler room at about 80 yards and dropped. It hits exactly like a 35 Remington. Thanks for helping me make the choice on the 350.
The wind was kicking it at 700, good shooting! My grandson has a 350 Legend and has killed deer with it. Thanks for sharing WTW!
That is a big drop from one to two hundred yards!
Awesome video WTW! Thanks for sharing brother!🤘🏽🤘🏽🇺🇸👊🏽🤘🏽🤘🏽
158gr .357 is around 540 ft-lbs at the muzzle. A round that has the same energy AT DISTANCE as the .357 has AT THE MUZZLE will definitely work.
Late to the party. Another awsome video. Love the 350 legends
Gracias por darnos otro video !! Aca no es tan popular el 350 leyend. Pero me gusta mucho ese calibre. Te mando un abrazo enorme WrW
+1 for 450 BM! Also, I snuck a peak at the right side of that ballistics chart for the 350L. 600 ft/lbs of energy at 300 yards. Definitely not an ethical shot on deer or other big game. Just make sure folks know we're talking target shooting not hunting here.
That's equivalent to a 357 magnum at the muzzle. Don't be a moron.
Good point 🇺🇸
Hahahahaha a arrow hits with less the 600ftlbs. Hit it whwre yoy need to it'll die man
If you can hit a 3 inch circle, and put in the right place it will do the job.
I think the 450 would make a pretty good video! Enjoyed watching the 350 as well!
450 is king in Michigan. Just saying.
@@georgekasza7295 As I am from Michigan and hunt with 450 as well I do agree. Seems to be what everyone in southern MI is using.
Great idea. Every caliber. O elevation max for cross hairs ie 100yrds,125 even 200. Max distance just before adding elevation.
👍👍
And I agree with you 100% about having a good trigger pull And having a good trigger on any rifle.A good light trigger makes a ton of difference
If WTW went iguana hunting , frog giggin, gator bangin, he could have a nice BBQ of non chicken items that taste like chicken!
Ooooooo I'm looking forward to this one!
My grandma didn't think because I was able to hit one of her cast iron skillets at 750 yards it was a good excuse for shooting one of her old pans, at 15 I though it was, grandpa agreed with her. Lost my rifle for the rest of that summer
😳😳😳
I’m 100000 percent sure you will not find any deer you hit with that round past 200 yds
It is highly recommended to keep shots limited to 250 yards and preferably closer for best performance.”
Ohio straight wall state here.
Just put one together and now I know I need to sight it in around 135 yards to split the difference.
Good video brother 😎
Should be a good one, also i would love to see someone shooting 450bushmaster out to 1000 in 50 yard increments
Good info. 👍 Amazing shooting! 🎯
Ethical minimum impact energy for whitetail is preferred at >750 lb/ft. Most 350 legend rounds are under 500 before they reach 400 yards.
Chronographing the 165 grain Hornady FTX with a 16" barrel had an average muzzle velocity of 2,257 FPS, while the 20" barrel averaged 2,449 FPS.
thanks for the cool video man, I've learned lots of good stuff from you channel. I love the 350 legend it's one of my favorite rounds to shoot
I remember both of those videos! Nice recap! I'm pretty sure it would just bounce off a deer at 700 yards, lol! God bless you and your family!🇺🇲✝️🇺🇲
That was some valuable information
I have a 350 Legend but I would never try to take a deer beyond 300. Probably more like 200 or less. I have a 1-6 LPVO scope so I don't trust shooting beyond what I can see. lol
I have the same rifle you have there in the video. I bought it for a ranch rifle. When I sighted it in at our ranch range I was absolutely amazed at the accuracy of the rifle. It has been fun just to see how far we can shoot accurately with it.
At 17:00- how did you get my lost sock? I've been blaming my wife and the dryer.
I've only been using 124gr and 147gr hp/xtp in AR pistol platform. Shot very few in 180gr range.
What is the energy left at 700 yards. I have the same 350 as you were shooting
Good job & good info. Thanks, I'm looking forward to more. How about shooting the 308 x168 grain and the 300 win mag x168 grain bullets . Thanks
Good job who tee who
Hand load with 115 gr 9mm fmj bullets. There's load data on the webs but if you don't find anything, you can start with 357 rem max data and carefully go up from there.
That was really fun WTW 👍
U got to check out mcarbo trigger spring kits. They work wonders on Ruger American and savage axis rifles to fine tune the trigger squeeze
Will check it out. Thanks for the info.
They work wonders on cZ75 pistols also
For around $20 u can’t beat it.
Ouch, they hurting your feelers? Please save it!
@@dennismurray4088what ammo did you use in that 9mm carbine?
I’ve no need to shoot past 200-250 yards. It’s just fun to see what any given fire arm can do. Not necessarily what you should do on live game, but still fun none the less. Thanks for the cool videos and info.
Thanks Adam for another great video! Very informative! I don't have a 350 Legend, but I'm interested.
That rifle & cartridge combo just continues to impress me!
Very cool 😎
Great video! I'm starting to like that cartridge.
This will be a good one
🙏🙏🙏
Luv my 350 legend.. good video way to stretch it out there. Good shot too..👍
Thanks for watching Kenny
Really good video tonight enjoyed it as usual That 1500 Howa you got set up is A-sharp rig. Wind makes big difference on slow bullets at long range.
Check out the bargara Stoke. It's awesome, feeds like it's supposed to. Shoots lights out.
I'm bummed I missed the live chat but excited I still get to see the vid.
seems like 350 legend is all you ever see at Wal-Mart.
It's a 200 yard 9mm carbine round. Would make a perfect urban combat round for the military too.
Fun stuff! I’d agree with most that mine is a 200 yard max hunting rifle. Fixed scope zero at 150 yards so I get 5.5” drop at 200. Energy and scope compensation pretty much stops there
Cool video, nice rifle. I like 6.5 creedmoor for long range, zero at 200 yards bullet drop very small at 600 yards +.
Remington did this in 1983 and really didn't do well, but with just slightly more power now and certain state laws applying to straight wall cartridges it might gain popularity, maybe.
Love the video and Thank you!! Id like to know what series of boyds stock that is. Prairie, heritage or precision?
This was a really fun video, thank you Sir!!!!!!!
Outstanding video WHO_TEE_WHO ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Taking a 500 yard shot on game with a 350 legend sounds ambitious.
Only 400 ft lbs of energy left
I would really like to see more long range shooting with this caliber. I am very interested in getting a 350 Legend for my self and would love to see a lot more videos (hunting, long range and precision shooting). Your videos are always very well thought out informative as well as entertaining keep up the great work!!
Appreciate you watching Todd!
Have you tried the 150 gr bullets from what I have read the hold the speed and energy a lot better than the heavier bullets?
You proved right off the bat that its a 125 yard deer cartridge for ethical hunting.
The lack of power at longer ranges was the whole point of this round. It was designed for states that don't allow necked down cartridges that can carry energy long distances. Its a rifle alternative to having to use a shotgun for hunting.
Next they will show buckshot at 1000 yards.
@@wes326 Ha the shotgun artillery? Classic
Good luck
Never confuse punching paper or steel and hunting. 350 Legend and 30-30 are both good hunting cartridges with about the same limitations determined by their ballistics.
Hadn't had much experience with the 350 legend good info!!
The new 35 Remington, gotta be a good brush gun.
I would sight in a inch and a half high at a hundred, and you should be close to optimum for max point blank range of about 200 yards?
That stock is awesome, I traded for a new Howa mini in 6.5 Grendel. I might have to see about getting a stock from Brownells, love all the videos !
