Metal technology in China improves a lot in the last 10 years.
need more time to make better.
yea used to be crap but now ..that's what i call vast improvement!
Amazing improvements in the last ten years!
in Europe all Chinese cars get 5 star full point as safty test result! beter than many existing brands!
in Europe all Chinese cars get 5 star full point as safty test result! beter than many existing brands!
Looks like they are safer than most japanese cars that were sold in southeast asia
You are right, in Southeast Asia and all other third world countries, to let the international community learn about the Japanese discriminatory treatment at least in this regard.
Not forgetting to add one more point; EV cars sold in China being of the same quality as those exported to Thailand; unnoted difference of China from Jap
The features too. Japan sold same car with different features between SE Asia or South Asia with other regions. 😠
a lot of south east asia japanese cars has no abs or airbags.
that is why i dont trust japanese car in SEA..
Unlike Toyota that lied and cheated in their test data.
So did some European car manufacturers. Don't simply blame one manufacturer. Open your eyes!!!!
Toyota cheated their test, then what made you think this can't be cheated again
Now I see why the US government banned Chinese cars.
These cars make Japanese cars look like they're made of cheap plastic.
Even a T-bone accident didn't do much to these cars.
in Europe all Chinese cars get 5 star full point as safty test result! beter than many existing brands!
@desmond7914 you do know it's the same Western media that you are talking about that exposed Toyota, VW, etc
I'm so glad I bought Ora Kat the cute car with big characters n so high safety features.... I'm so happy now... already I'm reaching my 2nd year with Ora Kat 👍👍👍🙏🙏 simply love it
Whow! Impressive for the cheap Chinese cars. They seemed to have done quite some engineering on the structural integrity. No wonder the US is trying to stunt their advancement.
they are not cheap.. it's just that car company from other countries are overpriced.
Thats why tariff was imposed.
Elon musk said without tariffs most european automakers would go boom
@@Rav01508
Tariff protect a few thousand workers but burden millions that are not in their car industry.
@@FrankiePo89 the west champion of free trade and fair playing field. China allows every western automakers to have open access and never imposed any tariffs. They earned alot from china's market. But when china wants to do it and suddenly EU imposed tariffs and comes out with lame excuss. So the WTO free trade rulebook applies only if it benefits the west? What happen to the plaza accord when japan was rising on top
@@Rav01508
Exactly. Western free trade is a farce
No Mather what people think about Chinese EVs, they have to meet the required safety standards like any other imports. The main barrier for those cars is political, not safety. Like with Japanese cars and other products in the 80's, US couldn't compete so it bullied Japan into capitulation, because of that Japan's economy is still stagnant today.
China learned a lot from that.
Now the US is began to do the same to China, but this time China is answering back with a Middle Finger.
in Europe all Chinese cars get 5 star full point as safty test result! beter than many existing brands!
@@dwchen1
I like those middle finger gesture for the greedy west.
日本只是一個跟班,不可類比。
Impressive. Especially the test qith pedestrian detection(the one Tesla failed miserably). But considering the first crash test of the first cherry in europe 14 years ago, they have improved a lot!!!
Funky cat is really impressive considering it's also quite cheap.
It runs on 5G. Many countries don't have any.
i kinda noticed that too
This video is actually genuinely underated and this is actually the actual real China that the actual American and British BBC propaganda mainstream media actually don't show you is actually really like and actually capable of actually doing
The Chinese cars are just as good if not better. 👍👍👍
They are on par with Volvos, these crash tests and blade battery technology have changed my mindset about Chinese EVs
Chinese cars were awarded five-star ratings at Euro NCAP crash tests in 2023. I cannot recall when a Toyota Corolla was sent for testing. Lol.
Ora Cat was one hell of a funky design! Love that design!
I visited Guangzhou, China last October, and noticed that many shopping malls converted their ground floor to EV showrooms. Chinese brand is not cheaper than foreign ones, that's a little surprise. All taxi's in the city are EVs now, and cars on the streets are near 50% EV (one can tell from the color of license plate). The government policy make is very favorable to EV, no limitation at all; while buying a gasoline car needs a lottery win for license plate, or replacing an older one. Also, foreign EV maker doesn't have to have a local partner. So Tesla is 100% Tesla owned. Traditional high-end gasoline car is still dominated by German makers. But because the government policy, they have to sell enough EVs, (often at lost due to the competition) in order to sell them.
Because we believe that Chinese brand electric vehicles are safer, more technologically advanced, and have a higher level of intelligence. In fact, it is the same. Taxi drivers are the most knowledgeable about cars, driving over 100000 kilometers per year. Most of them choose Chinese electric vehicle brands.
Why they should be cheaper - Consider the Chinese EV are significantly better than foreign brands? Not only the EVs, their ICE cars or hybrid are also at least as good as the foreign competitors. Chinese car manufactures are launching full attack from every angles to the legacy car makers.
NIO has highest Euro NCAP scores
Tip top quality. It is parallel to the best car manufacturers with a fraction of their price.
Take a bow to your new world leader China! China is big and great!!!
Glory to the party
I have to admit that's all pretty darned impressive.
in Europe all Chinese cars get 5 star full point as safty test result! beter than many existing brands!
6-star safety 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
.. Instead of 5
A evolução em estética e segurança dos carros chinês chegaram a outro patamar
Those cars look safer than most Japanese cars 😅
Car safety is to protect the people inside, not the car itself.
@johnnguyen4152 exactly what he meant
@@SYL7Tube justify a car's safety is not based on the " look".
@@johnnguyen41523:45 it continue after it stop 😂 low quality
Made in china
comparing to 1980s, now 2024, those cars have improvements are true.
China is now equivalent to 19th Century Victorian Great Britain. Merit, Engineers, Skill based society
You mean child labour, pollution and slavery. That was 19th century Victorian Britain. 😂
skill based, not quite yet. but reverse engineering
@@andylam73Like how Huawei reverse engineered most advanced 5G technology, first to land a robot on far side of Mars, highest coverage of High Speed Railway, producing more solar panels than the rest of the world combined and many more.
China also leads in 37 of 44 key technologies according to ASPI reporting. They reverse engineered all those technologies?
@@protograde2723Such negativity. The positives are Charles Dickens for social awareness , life expectancy improvement, through better engineering-London Sewers, railway, steamships-allows people to immigrate to better life. This is a big problem of todays people, everything are wrong because there is injustice through their biased filters.
@@andylam73 Saudi Arabia had open bid to build a High-Speed Railroad, both American and Japanese firms withdrawn. The Chinese build high-speed railroad in Deserts of Saudi Arabia. Should look at the documentary’s on the Engineers solving problems one by one-Shifting sand base, sand storms, temp often reach up to 55c.
Will the day come when Chinese cars are better than Japanese? This was hard to imagine just 10 years ago
in EV sector, they are already better than japanese and germany. that's why mercedes sign a contract with chinese company and university to get access to the technology.
they actually will and even better than Japanese cars...because Chinese is good at copy from all brands
@@soryounnarro9913why would you believe copied products are better than the original?
EVs yea, but ICE cars, prob not, cuz China still struggles with making their own ICEs, majority of their engines come from Japanese partners and other brands
@@shinefake48 Nobody cares about ICE cars in 10 years
Japan are testing different car for the test and for sale. 😅😢😂
We shall appreciate ppl who bought and drive Japanese cars, they use their money and lives to save other drivers
@@liliwen8831Yes, earlier this year, an elderly Japanese couple's car was flattened into a 30cm sheet by two trucks😢kinda scary and they really need to change that.

I have a Lynk&co 01❤nice car
Lynk & Co are basically Volvo, both owned by Geely
Zeekr, which is pretty much EV version of Lynk co using Lotus chassis... Lotus also owned by Geely 😅
The reason for all the tests is to end up with the safest cars possible for their price range, well done China 🇨🇳👍
Well nice!too bad we can look but can't buy! Or do we import all the cars from around the world?
Depends where you live, ORA, BYD, MG (now Chinese), Nio all export. The quality has massively improved in the 10 years I have lived in China. I nii of e drive the Nio ES6 (EL 6 in EU) it is a really well built high spec SUV.
Westerners will claim this is fake 😂
but'.. but.. it's tested in europe.. not in china.. how cold they claim it fake!? LMAO
@@xmb6793they can always find a way... 😂

good to know not covering all good stuff from china, china manufacture has been progressing a lot these days, respect.

Impressive and Excellent chinese car!
In other countries they called it Ora Funky Cat... In Malaysia they called it Ora Good Cat...
Pretty solid
CHINESE CARS very SAFETY good job
Chinese brand cars are really safe and cheap!
All talks on China EVs. I used to wonder its crash tests safety standards. Now we know why we don't hear safety problems with China's EVs. Thanks for the video
if you don't keep working hard, you only can affrod to German and Japanese cars in the future......
the chinese EV is not cheap, it just become affordable
Check out the us$10k BYD seagull.
China settings new standard !!!
Chinese cars have caught up. Anything crashes better than American cars
Tesla has a good crash test reputation. Besides, in a real life car accident between any one of these cars vs a cybertruck, in which do you wish you sit?

Someone should watch a clip that a jeep called Tank 300 made by Changan in China rolled down a slope in Russia and then run as usual without a scratch, not even that poor side mirror. 😂
really good
really decent performance across the board, even for those lesser-known brands
With 3000 kmh.
Diana died by 90 kmh in Paris
Keep it up 👍
Safer than US cars.
China has learned a lot from the mistakes made by Western countries, for example Geely bought Volvo, Volvo is one of the safest cars in the world.
This is the reason why use wanna stop Chinese from further development.
You cannot stop a country's development when her development is on the up side and yours is deteriorating in the down side. You can manage to stop your own declination is already a blessing.
👍👍👍
Personally I love to step up a notch even further. I love to see if Chinese crash test to adopt a small, tiny off-set crash just like the one on IHSS's. In real life you may have this kind of accident which Volvos were the absolute first cars to pass this kind to test with flying colours where many other have failed miserably even Mercedes back then but later on most have adapted.
Todos os carros parecem mais seguros do que a maioria dos carros vendidos no Brasil.
wowww👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Euro Ncap gives you data and numbers about all tested cars. Prejudices are unnecessary.
Damn it's stunning me 😮😮😮😮😂😂maybe I'll try one of these car soon if possible❤
I'm assuming they have to comply with the safety regulations of the countries that import them.
Sure, but a crash-test score that makes it to the top tier must be advertised
Chinese cars are on another level of quality! Most Chinese cars like for example Hongqi H6 uses 83% solid metal structure. While more expensive german cars like Mercedes C-class use 48% metal so the rest is plastic....
These Chinese car test shows the same test result as those Japanese and European car test. They are just as good as those from Japan, Europe and especially the US brands, example Ford, Chevrolet, Jeep, Chrysler, GM....etc where their sales volume of cars were very low in most part of the world because all these american brand cars were simply crap. In the 2023 car sales report, China overtake Japan as the world number one 🏆 car export country for the year 2023 which the Chinese car export sales figures was much higher than the Japanese brands.
Do you have proof! Slander is not good! 😈😈😈😈😈😈😈📔

quite impressive. old chinese cars fold like paper in crashes. these are really improved.
Where's the small overlap test, the one that is the most challenging and makes or breaks safety tests?
There are only two countries in the world that carry out 25% collision, one is the United States and the other is China. The most important standard for car safety collisions for Chinese people is the 25% collision rate of "China Insurance Research Institute"
Chinese Golden samples are always durable and strong. It would be nice to see if mass production remain the same quality as those golden samples.
同样的价位,中国汽车的铝合金使用比很多车要高,而且高不少。
By your comment. How does the public know if the Jap, Kor, and all the Euro brands aren't supplying what you refer to as "golden samples" for the crash test?? Can you prove your comment is accurate?
It IS mass production car, please take your bias away.
The logo is saying euro ncap. So either these cars were purchased from dealer anonymously. Or they were randomly selected from the car production line in case they are not available on the market yet.

how come there is 2 air bags pop out form the right side of the driver at 0.37 ?
If you have a new car you dont want, just give it to me.
This is a nice compilation of passing tests. At what point do they fail? I’d like to see the NTSB results and I’d like to see where the limits are. This could just be a bunch of lightweight testing.

are these export version?, why not test the local versions?
Why not? There are local test too.
There are two institutions in China, the China Insurance Industry Research Institute and the China Automotive Research Institute. Considering the insurance claim rate, they bought their own car from the 4S store for testing. In fact, Chinese brand cars generally have better safety ratings than Japanese, Korean, American, and some European brands.
It's tested by EU Ncap, samples are taken randomly from dealers
I must say it's pretty impressive, let's hope their cars are built the same..
I wouldn't surprise me if some manufacturers sent cars "special EuroNcap "
Make lesser distants speed limit controle
Were the lithium batteries installed in these cars for the test crash ?? That's what l'd like to know.
All cars are tested just like they would be out on the main road. Hence why you see screenwash, coolant etc flying everywhere.
@@SusieSmart Still it's crucial to see the batteries as many go into flames and explode on collision.
@@bluemarlin2u If the car is EV , it must have the battery intact. Many cars there are EVs such Nio , Maxus ,Lynk , maybe all were EVs.
What a no brainer question you asked. Cars were tested by the ENCAP ( European new car assessment program ) in Europe and cars had to be tested as on the road model.

Chinese test cars / vehicles are done the right way…strong and safe. But, when it’s manufactured… good luck!
Gosh... A grown man like you with so much spite and pettiness it's laughable
I think this video is insinuating that Chinese cars are not safe but haven't the gut to say it out, loud and clear. I call this cowardice.
better of getting a skateboard
Many of those Chinese vehicles break like fortune cookies!
its how they protect the dummies, not the car itself
Fortune cookies originated in the US.
@RSCB It's a joke! You are talking to a person with a science background. I understand the transfer of energy. However, if the vehicles here break down easily and that is a pain. South Korea has similar problems with their auto recalls.
The crash test vehicles provided by Chinese automakers to NCAP are reinforced vehicles and are not mass-produced vehicles.😂
