I had same symptoms, DTC P0471, turned out to be a defective exhaust pressure sensor (not the exhaust differential pressure sensor!), and after replacing it and! after cleaning the sooth cloaked thin steel pipe from pressure sensor to exhaust pipe using a wire and drill and after clearing all DTCs it now shows no more lights of errors in the display...
    Hope this may help...

It sounds like you're experiencing a complex issue with your Nissan Qashqai. Here are some possible causes and steps you can take to address the problem:
      ### Possible Causes
      1. **Oil Pressure Sensor Fault:**
      - The oil pressure sensor might be malfunctioning, giving a false low oil pressure reading which can cause the engine to shut down as a protective measure.
      2. **Engine Control Unit (ECU) Issue:**
      - A problem with the ECU could be triggering erroneous faults, such as a collision fault, even though no recent collision occurred.
      3. **Electrical or Wiring Issue:**
      - There could be a problem with the wiring or connectors related to the oil pressure sensor or other critical engine components.
      4. **Faulty Collision Sensor:**
      - The collision sensor might be defective, falsely reporting a collision, and preventing the car from starting as a safety measure.
      5. **Other Mechanical Issues:**
      - While less likely given your description, there could be underlying mechanical issues not immediately apparent.
      ### Steps to Take
      1. **Check Diagnostic Codes:**
      - Ensure the workshop reads the specific diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) using an OBD-II scanner. This can give a more precise indication of the problem.
      2. **Inspect Wiring and Sensors:**
      - Have the workshop inspect the wiring and connections to the oil pressure sensor and collision sensors for any signs of damage or disconnection.
      3. **Reset the ECU:**
      - Sometimes, resetting the ECU can clear erroneous fault codes. This can be done by disconnecting the battery for a few minutes or using an OBD-II tool.
      4. **Check for Software Updates:**
      - Ensure that your vehicle’s software is up to date. Sometimes, a software update can fix bugs or issues that cause erroneous fault codes.
      5. **Consider a Second Opinion:**
      - If the workshop you're using cannot identify or fix the issue, consider taking your vehicle to another Nissan-certified mechanic or dealership for a second opinion.
      6. **Document Everything:**
      - Keep detailed records of all the symptoms, diagnostics, and repairs attempted. This can help if the problem persists and you need to escalate the issue with Nissan customer service.
      ### Immediate Next Steps
      1. **Battery Disconnect:**
      - Try disconnecting the battery for 10-15 minutes to reset the ECU and see if that clears the fault.
      2. **Collision Fault Reset:**
      - Ask the workshop if they can manually reset the collision fault using their diagnostic tools.
      3. **Oil Pressure Verification:**
      - Ensure that the actual oil pressure is checked with a mechanical gauge to rule out a true low oil pressure condition.
By following these steps, you can systematically address and potentially resolve the issue. If all else fails, escalating to Nissan customer support with all your documentation might provide a more definitive solution.

Being able to only access the body control unit and not the other control units suggests a few potential issues:
      1. **Diagnostic Equipment Limitations**: The diagnostic tool your mechanic is using may not be fully compatible with your vehicle's systems, particularly if it's an advanced or newer model. Official Nissan diagnostic equipment might be necessary to access all control units.
      2. **Communication Issues**: There could be a problem with the vehicle's communication network (e.g., CAN bus), preventing the diagnostic tool from communicating with other control units. This could be due to wiring issues, faulty control units, or software glitches.
      3. **Control Unit Faults**: One or more control units might be malfunctioning or have software issues that prevent them from being accessed. This could be due to electrical faults, damaged modules, or other hardware problems.
      4. **Access Permissions**: Some control units may have security features that require specific authorization or coding to access. Official dealerships often have the necessary permissions and software to bypass these restrictions.
Given these possibilities, it makes sense that your mechanic may need more time or may refer the vehicle to an official Nissan service center. Official centers have specialized diagnostic tools and access to the latest software updates, technical bulletins, and proprietary systems that independent mechanics might not have.
If your vehicle is still under warranty, or if the issue is complex, involving the official service center might be the best course of action to ensure proper diagnosis and repair.

The Nissan Qashqai typically features an automatic or on-demand four-wheel-drive system. However, specific instructions can vary based on the model year and trim level. Generally, the four-wheel-drive system in many modern vehicles, including the Qashqai, is automatic and engages as needed, depending on factors like traction and wheel slip.
For accurate instructions, it's best to refer to your vehicle's owner's manual. If you're having trouble, consider consulting with a Nissan dealership or an automotive professional for assistance tailored to your specific model and year.

I’m tired of this Nissan 2023 plate… the power reduces in the middle of the road and many lights in the dashboard with faulty system of engine …
I do get horned by other drivers and it’s really embarrassing when people are looking at me as if I was the problematic. My partner took it back to the shop and they said that it’s dust when the outside camera it’s covered by the dust and the sensor becomes affected , that we have to wipe the camera often to stop all those faulty light coming up in the dashboard and car will move normally. We’ve done it but the issue persist 😳🧐

Faulty Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) on Nissan Qashqai vehicles have been reported to cause sudden braking incidents. This occurs when the ADAS misinterprets the surrounding environment and triggers the automatic braking system unnecessarily. These incidents can be alarming and potentially dangerous, as sudden braking without valid cause can lead to accidents or near-misses. Nissan has acknowledged these issues and has worked to address them through software updates or recalls to improve the performance and reliability of their ADAS systems. However, drivers should remain vigilant and report any unusual behavior to their dealerships or authorities for further investigation and resolution.
