  • Hi all, here is a brief overview of the problems I have experienced with my Nissan Qashqai since leasing new in 2016.
This is not a bash Qashqai post, we had a 2013 one beforehand and this was excellent and suited our family needs. This time round however we have experienced end to end issues and have been far from impressed.
Service from Sandicliffe Loughborough has been poor, with month(s) waiting times and a lack of loan cars. Nissan CEO office have been friendly but have added no real value in terms of compensation or a change in service. Wasted 8 days holiday, spent weeks idle on the drive and its been embarrassing to drive with the various rattling noises of loose piping and still have issues with stop start and the heating. This does not feel like a 24k car.
In the video I list the following problems:-
    1) Flywheel Trouble
    2) Loose Pipe Fitting
    3) Rear Camera Not Working
    4) Stop Start Not Working
    5) New Tire after 12,000 miles
    6) Oil leaks
    7) Recall for brake line concerns
    8) Dipstick broken

Thank you for your informative video. I would like to add a note about my own experience with a 2014 model Qashqai. On 22 June, I was ready to leave to go on holiday at 5:00 am except that my car refused to start; very annoying. Although I could use my electronic key to enter the car, nothing would happen when I pushed the start/stop button except that the dashboard would light up with all sorts of warnings and error messages. It took 22 days for the Nissan garage to try to identify the fault. They concluded that we needed to change the engine control unit. This took another week and cost 1,297 euros. But this morning, one week after that change, the same problem again. The Nissan garage says that it will take two weeks before they can take a second look at my car. During all that time the garage did not have a courtesy car available for me and I had to pay myself for car rental. I was satisfied with my Qashqai, but I think that my Nissan garage (the main one in Lisbonne) is badly lacking in competence and care.
If anyone experienced the same sort of problem, I would be happy to receive advice. My guess is that it may be a faulty sensor somewhere.

Hi Henry. This is a very late comment, but I feel it may be of use to more recent owners. I have had a 2017 Qashqai 1.2 for 18 months now. It has only done 17K miles admittedly, but I have had no issues whatsoever. I guess you were unlucky.

@@HenryGeorge2018 Hi! It does actually. Had it now for 6,5 years. Only 2 problems i had so far is rattling from inside doors (it dissapeared by now by itself) and the other issue i had is problems with engine. Sometimes during colder winters the engine would not start. It sounded like its common problem for this car. It worked last couple of years, but im still afraid that one day during winter time it wont start. Good news is we have warm winters here in south sweden. Around +5 to -10 celcius. Happy with the car otherwise, good bang for the buck. Paid it off in like 3 years so im driving happy now.

the recall is just a bracket we do to keep the brake line away from rotating assembly , ) its for your own safety as well as others . The stop start system comes up with EVERY single fault you get on the car , so it's not the system itself, it's the way it works. When consult shows only stop start, you run a battery test. They run on 720 amps battery and most of the time the stop start itself kills the battery and usually you will find it sitting at merely 300 amps which isn't even half, so replacing the battery and clearing the faults will fix it . Other times it's the stop start relay which doesn't work properly as i said due to low battery amperage . The oil leak is most of the time coming from the timing chain cover . A simple removal and clean and re seal would fix it . Just a heads up .Worked on these cars for over 9 years now at our local Nissan dealership as a mechanic/technician .

nice and honest review. I was thinking switching my kuga for nissan after 4 years, so I started searching videos like this one. I am not a heavy driver, 10000km per year at max, and in 4 years and didn't have a single issue with kuga. replaced the front left bulb last month and that's pretty much it. japanese cars especially mazdas seem to be unreliable. mazda vehiecles usually have issues with oil, paint, plastic elements (all kinds of plastic covers start to rattle and fall off) and electronics of course . I thought ford was the worst, but I was wrong. kuga is like a tenk when i compare it to mazda. after 4 years I still use original windshield wipers and there's no sign of tear whatsoever. after seeing this, I feel japanese cars are not what they used to be before.

Thanks for your kind comment. We had a Mazda for a while and that had paint and oil issues. Like you say, the quality was behind Nissan. BMW have been our most reliable to date, but I read people have loads of issues with them. Potentially it is all the luck of the draw. Are you still running your Kuga now?

I am afraid that the Nissan brand and its build quality were the first things out of the window as soon as Renault had anything to do with it. Its a shame that people buying vehicles by name these days has nothing to do with that original name. Renault have destroyed the Nissan brand and disguised their terrible French vehicles as something else, thus duping people into buying their awful product.

I had (have) issues 3, 4 and 8 in 2016 Qashqai (UK). Also the air intake part for the motor was rattling, similar to the noise in issue Nr 2. Solved by me with insulation tape. At some point the control panel (music, SatNav, etc) started to reboot randomly. This was fixed by Nissan as the guarantee was still valid. The stop-start (I refer here to the automatic one) doesn't work when the car is cold. after some 20 minutes of driving, I switch off the car manually and then it will work after restarting it. Still, I am happy with it, everything works well, nothing in the interior peels off or decolorates/cracks by sunlight, good connectivity with my phone. I use it a lot (1500 miles monthly) with heavy loads often. After 100K miles, it has never let me down on the road. Mine is a Tekna 1.5. No car is perfect, I had American cars with much worse problems (computers disconnecting while driving, temperature warning not working, etc).

Hi Golf Fox, Can't blame you for looking, design wise they look nice. If you were pitching up that kind of cash get an extended warranty to rule out any teething problems in your first few months. All cars have issues, but going back I would have put my money elsewhere.

Mini Man I never keep a car very long, around 2 years. And I always pay straight cash and expect to have no trouble from any car if I pay 12/16k for it. I really feel for folk that pay a lot of money for a car and have problems with it. It's just not on.
Right now I have a Hyundai i40 premium and it has not gave me a bit of bother over the 18 months that I have had it. I just need a hatchback boot. My next two choices after the Nissan were a Citroen c4 Picasso exclusive plus as my kids absolutely love it when we went to look at one last week, while I like the extra toys I get.
And a Suzuki SX4 S-cross Sz5 allgrip which would be my choice, although I have not been to see one yet I just like the look of the new shape ones I have seen. I'm limited to what I can choose from as my kids do not want to give up the panoramic roof like we have on the Hyundai.

I am in the US and cannot send a photo but I shall try to give more details.
There is a long chute for the incoming air which is attached on one side to the front frame and further in the direction of the air filter, to the side panel of the engine compartment. 2 small 8 mm bolts are holding this chute. They are designed by Nissan engineers to give a small free movement because the air filter is vibrating with the engine but not the car body. The holes in the chutes are larger than the bolts. No matter how much you tight them there is a movement of about 3 mm.. My idea was not to stop rhis free movement, which is necessary, but to limit it. I opened the 2 bolts anf put around them, above the thread, Small 'O" rings (not discks,). This increased the diameter of the bolts by maybe 1 mm and thus reduced the free movement of the chute by 2 mm. It was enough to stop the air filter from touching the firewall and the irritating noise stopped.
The whole construction of the air filter could be improved but as you know, the space in the engine compartment is limited.
In order to reduce the diesel engine noise you can add a cover 1" above the engine but from a fire resisting material and thicker insulating to the bonnet. Do not worry about the engine getting hot. It will not. The engine in any case must have a clearance of 1-2 inches free so air will continue to flow freely around the engine.

The handbrake jammed on and they said I'd have to wait two weeks for an appointment before I could bring it to them! Had to get another garage to fix it and that was the last straw. Hi John, I hope you are well. Sounds like you have not had a great time with your one at all. The dealerships play a huge part here, and sadly there are a few which are not helping Nissan. Like you, it is getting to the point where it is a waste of time off and effort, as everything is your fault (According to them we are both driving with the foot pressed down on the clutch, hence our stop/start errors) or no fault found when it sounds like a diesel train. Did you ever contact Nissan directly? Be interesting to know what they did (If anything) Bet you can't wait to hand it back :)

Hi @TheRocco96 Interesting to see they have a variety of reasons for a silly stop start issue. Surely it is just a sensor and some software changes. Infact instead of the error they show now, they could easily update the software to say 'Please remove foot from clutch or allow warm up time etc' Basically the function doesn't work, and as a result their MPG being quoting is going to be wrong as most people are accepting the fault and turning of the functionality.

    @mka70 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

I have the same sort of problems with the stop/start. 2 possible causes/solutions. 1) Battery level. I think I'm right in saying that if battery power drops below 80%, the system won't work. I have found that to be the case, especially after driving off on a cold day, with having the blowers on for heating/demisting. After driving for a while, and (presumably) the battery gets more charge in it, the system will work!
    2) Clutch hovering. I have a very bad tendency to leave my foot hovering/resting on the clutch. The Stop/Start system fault message has come up on my JII several times....each time it is when I have had my foot resting on the clutch pedal. As the system obviously relies on you pressing the clutch to restart, I'm wondering if by doing this, I'm activating the system somehow and it's either draining power out or tripping the system some way!
I'm not a mechanic and have no real knowledge of this, just sharing my thoughts!

It’s just done 50,000 miles of steady driving but it’s starting to feel like an old car. The clutch is juddering slightly upon take up of drive, suspect it’s the dual mass flywheel, the brakes judder, warped discs, a variety of dash warning lights come on and off randomly when driving, it broke down and required a replacement battery, the heater never warms up despite the engine temperature being normal, in general it’s a very poor example of what I expected from Nissan and the dealer back up was equally bad. I shall never buy another.

Hi there. Is the Qashqai clutch heavy? I've test drive a 2016 model yesterday and OMG its very heavy - my car at the moment is a 17yrs old Peugeot 307 and its still lighter compare to the QQ. I've also sat in over 7+ Qashqai (2016 and 2017) today and press on the clutch, they're all quite heavy too.

    • @HenryGeorge2018

From memory the clutch was stiff but felt a bit flimsy too. (Like they had used a cheap metal) They do tend to wear down on the Nissan quite quickly, so it could be that? What did you go for in the end? The 307's are such a classic 👍

After replacing the battery a few times, the stop start they blamed for over a year on driving style, turned out the clutch pedal was at fault. We only leased ours, so can't back up how it is after 3 years. I can understand your nerves around it being a problem long term, so use it as much as you can now to see if there are problems. Outside this video, the alloys flaked on ours too, which made it look like it had hit the kerb alot, so keep an eye on that. They accepted this as a fault and replaced (common problem I am told). I bought a nearly-new 2016 Qashqai. After 9 months the satnav/phone developed faults and would shut down mid-drive, then reboot itself. This would happen regularly and Nissan said “it’s a known problem but we don’t have a fix yet”.
A few months later I was asked to bring the car in for the satnav fix. When I went to collect it they said “Your car needs a new engine”. Thinking they had confused me with another customer I explained that the car was in for a satnav problem. Answer? “Yes, we know, but it needs a new engine too!”

So, there was an investigation started and Nissan themselves said the oil consumption was 'normal'. Come on, it's a brand-new car and it shouldn't burn oil. After 2 years of refilling Nissan allowed our dealer to replace the entire engine after they found scratches on the cylinder wall. So, don't buy the 1.2 DIG-T

Brakes, tyres, suspension, steering angle sensor, battery, now it's running a rear wheel bearing and the handbrake has seized on one side. Bought as an everyday car that I can tow our caravan with; it's ok, but no better than ok. Wouldn't have another one; my previous Kia Ceed was better built, more efficient and waaay less trouble.

Sorry to here your sister is having issues. It was common for this generation of Qashqai's. In my case they said it was a loose cable, so be careful what they charge as you maybe able to fix. Unsurprisingly we never fix the rattle/noise and it was returned when the lease ended. Have you sorted the issue now?

  • @alexanderpatishi5876
    @alexanderpatishi5876 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

To those who asked me about the rattle noise of the air filter housing. (2016, J11, 1.6 Diesel engine.)
The problem is that the box is made of 2 parts that do not fit very well. In some cases while the engine is running at stand still, the air filter box touches the firewall creating this disturbing noise. My solution was to remove the 2 x 8mm bolts (ring 10mm) that are holding the air inlet duct and limit this movement by putting 7mm thin rubber "O" ring around the bolts. The duct remains free to move but the movement is limited so nothing breaks and the disturbing rattle is gone. I have done this last year and it is still working well for me.
However, Nissan engineers should re-design the case for the air filter. The access is not easy and the rubber seal around the filter sometimes folds.
Another issue is a strong mechanical knock when opening the oil inlet on top of the engine. I do not know if it comes from one of the regulating valves or the engine proper. I also found that the insulation of the hood is not good enough. I add a cover from a Kia engine and he noise was reduced. The cover is about 1" above the Renault engine. It is not completely closed so there is no effect on engine temperature and in summer we have very hot weather.
In general I am very satisfied with this car. No rust, good accelaration at all speeds, very low oil consumption (100% synthetic oil), good steering and breaking and very comfortable.

I am a foreigner, but I could just say for Nissan, they should rather replace Renault with the Hyundai Motor Group - which mainly contains the Hyundai Motor Company and Kia Motors - as their technical assistand and stakeholder/mentor instead.
Which means, if Renault cuts ties with Nissan - as well as Mitsubishi Motors - in exchange for Nissan to merge with Hyundai - which is now selling more cars -, therefore Hyundai being a mentor to Nissan could mean for the i20/Rio manufacturer to treat the aforementioned Qashqai maker like the way Opel is doing in regards of themselves selling their cars, e.g. Corsa, Grandland X, in the UK market as 'Vauxhall' instead . A type of excuse that is also an example of a company's national identity/pride, as with Vauxhall being restricted [only] to the British market, while Opel is available in not just the rest of Europe, but also in ex-UK colonies like Ireland, Malta, and Cyprus, as well as South Africa.
Hence, the only reason why Vauxhall is deeply restricted to the United Kingdom market is because of the anti-German sentiment happened before, during, and after World War II.
Which meant that marketing a German-named car manufacturing company on British soil could frustrate its sales, so the solution to resist the entry of Opel in the British automotive market was to favour Vauxhall instead, which has already been a household name in the UK's automotive industry even until Peugeot - now Stellantis with Fiat - took over the griffin - Vauxhall's logo - marque wayback 2017.
Now, back to the issue regarding Hyundai buying Nissan - plus Mitsubishi, which supplied parts to Hyundai's cars in the past - from Renault's umbrella:
The only reason for Hyundai, which bought Kia circa 1998 due to the impact of the Asian Financial Crisis, to buy and treat Nissan like Opel/Vauxhall is because of the point that Nissan and Mitsubishi Motors, a former supplier of technologies to Hyundai, are Japanese by origin.
As Japan colonised and invaded Korea - the country of origin of Hyundai/Kia - from 1910 to 1945, which meant that the legacies of Korea's independence from Japan led Korea to freeze their ties with the Japanese. Resulting both countries to use and apply those ill-bred memories into their companies, e.g. Toyota, Hyundai/Kia, while they're competing with each other. Especially with Nissan already planned to withdraw the Korean market at the end of this year, leaving Hyundai/Kia to be the leader of the pack in the Korean automotive industry.
Whereas for Japan and their automotive market, Hyundai - and not Kia - also has/had a presence in the Qashqai developer's country of origin. But, while Hyundai returned to selling passenger cars in the Japanese car manufacturing market back circa June this year, Hyundai's market share in Japan on the other hand is deeply smaller than Nissan.
Which means, as with Nissan [still] being the second largest automotive manufacturer in Japan by terms of production, Hyundai's lineup in the Japanese market - following their reintroduction in Japan - in fact, is smaller in comparison to Nissan as well.
As with Nissan selling smaller cars that were essentially licenced rebadgings of smaller Mitsubishi cars exclusive to Japan, since Nissan not just took over Mitsubishi back in 2016, but also Nissan started dealing with Mitsubishi for the sake of supplying their [Nissan's] automatic transmissions to Mitsubishi's cars in 2001.
Moreover, that is how Hyundai could take caution if they could take over and treat Nissan - plus Mitsubishi - like Opel for the sake of selling their cars in the UK as a Vauxhall. So, the point is Hyundai/Kia is restricted to [South] Korea, but they will also sell cars alongside Nissan overseas, as Nissan is already selling cars alongside Kia through a joint venture in Indonesia called 'Indomobil Group'.
Whereas, Nissan plus Mitsubishi will be restricted to Japan, thus Hyundai could also withdraw from Japanese grounds if Nissan favours themselves to take Hyundai's place in the land of the rising sun, as having said that both East Asian democracies are still yet deeply wed with national pride than globalism.
Bottomline, if Hyundai could purchase Nissan from Renault's control, then Nissan could swap parts with Hyundai/Kia instead, making half of Nissan's cars - including Navara - to behave like Hyundais/Kias, but that could lead Nissan to push Infiniti - their response to Lexus - into cessation/bankruptcy instead. As well as killing off the GT-R, Z sports cars, and even other Nissan vehicles that are mainly saloons exclusive to the North American market, which is the biggest for both Nissan and Hyundai/Kia overseas due to the proximity between East Asia and the USA/Canada... - to be continued...

Don't go Ford either. We've had our C-Max 1.5 Ecoboost for 3 years now and it's nothing but problems.
    1. Intermittent rough idle, cannot prove it, ongoing for 2 years.
    2. Unpredictable throttle response. Sometimes you want to get going smoothly and it revs up above 2000 RPM then cuts power completely causing a big jerk. Ongoing since day one. Countless software updates later somewhat improved but still horrible.
    3. Constant stutters when creeping in traffic with the clutch fully engaged and rolling around 1000-1200 RPM. New plugs and coils later it's just as bad. Ongoing since around month 6, service can't fix it.
    4. Start stop shuts the engine off, you press the clutch and you get a message saying "manual restart required". Very fun in traffic. Happens rarely, can't prove it, ongoing since day one.
    5. Keyless entry often reacts too slowly and you pull the door handle, it's locked, you let go and then it unlocks. Dealer says that's just the way it is, except it was fine for 2 years. Not willing to fix, ongoing.
    6. Sync 2 infotainment sometimes totally craps out and it's useless through multiple restarts. Dealer resets it, then it's fine for a while, until it isn't. Ongoing since day one.
    7. There was a time when I wanted to start it and it showed me every single fault in existence, but didn't even try to crank. This was 7-8 months ago, cannot reproduce it. Ongoing.
    8. Constant creaks and rattles from everywhere. It's to the point where the loudest noise in the car at 80 mph is a rattle coming from the rear right seat belt. Dealer says they can't hear it even sitting inside the car showing it happening. Not even trying to fix, ongoing for a year.
    9. Both rear doors are not adjusted properly and they pull the rubber seal sideways when you close the door. It's very loud and squeaky, plus it destroys the rubber and causes excessive wind noise. Dealer says the door cannot be adjusted any further and it's getting worse. Ongoing since day one, not even trying to fix.
The spring that pulls the gear lever back to center squeaks as well. I'm afraid to show it to them because I already know it's useless.
    10. The rear left brake caliper started sticking and it's causing to brakes to grab even when I'm not pressing the pedal. Brake pads were gone by the time I noticed it, can't wait for them to say it's my fault for not telling them until the pads went out.
So despite me having all these problems, NOTHING has been fixed. NOTHING. I never went back to the same dealership because I'm not willing to put up with their crap, but all of them are this bad.
As time goes on the car gets worse and worse with no fix in sight. Lost tons of value so selling it is no longer an option. Warranty is running out but it's meaningless because they aren't willing to do shit. I'm planning to write a full list documenting all the problems and their "solutions" and sending it to Ford saying they violated their own warranty terms and they either fix everything or we are going to court.

@@HenryGeorge2018 Ended up selling the car before the warranty expired. Of course it had to leave us stranded before that happened. Radiator blew up and they claimed it was punctured by a rock. I don't think rocks fly around between the engine and the radiator while standing still in traffic...
So we ended up paying for it.
We ended up getting a Nissan Leaf. Yes. Nissan. Electric cars have less components so the chances of failure should be lower.
Yet we have a clicking CV axle. It's a known issue and there is an official fix. Unfortunately that didn't fix ours. After multiple attempts the dealership contacted the national corporate office for help. They passed it along to European headquarters. That was 3 months ago and all they can tell me is that they are working on it...
Nothing is fixed. It's been clicking for over a year. The car is 2,5 years old.
Forward collision assist has so many false positives I ended up getting front and rear dash cams because I don't want to be liable for randomly brake checking people.
So far they replaced the fans on the AC condenser because it was chirping.
They replaced the glove box due to rattles.
Currently waiting on approval to replace the driver seat due to a creak, the front passenger seat due to headrest rattle, both outside mirrors because sometimes they don't fold out and keep clicking, the headliner because it creaks (didn't even think that was possible) and the head unit restarts every 3 minutes when using phone mirroring.
Great car other than all that. By that I mean I wish I had a 20 year old car without having to worry about rust. Those were objectively superior because they worked.

Not sure why premium does less miles based on price but we all know cars are money pits. Also budget tyres have C rating for wet grip and fuel. Nissan Qashqai Front parking sensors manufacturing Fault!
Just had my car in today for the replacement front parking sensors. The plastic coating on the front of the sensors bubbles causing the sensors to intermittently and randomly come on with nothing around the car. This is due to an manufacturing fault as there is no water egress hole in the plastic surround to the sensor!
Nissan’s poor fix is getting the Dealership to drill a hole in the plastic surround under the sensor to allow water escape!
Bristol Street Motors do not inform you of this and put all the blame on Nissan if confronted!
The service assistant was telling me that this wasn’t a Warranty claimable fix! Than after it was done I challenged them why they had drilled 2 holes through my plastic surround and they said it was a common fault and this was Nissans official solution. Two faced service, they tell you that it’s not a warranty fix then admit fault due to manufacturing fault priceless!😂

Classic example of the poorly thought out parts fitted here. To be fair to the dealership, they are just mopping up the turd they have been served, so unless they get paid by Nissan for the repair they are going to give the bare minimum. I like the fact the fix is to drill holes into a 28k car. This is a fix I'd do as a teenager on my Nova after picking it up for £50 with a few months MOT :) Priceless as you say.

@@HenryGeorge2018 They are excellent cars reliable some models can be a bit boring lexus are a bit behind in tech thats because they need to make sure ìt all works reliably before installation. Stay away from F-Sport models a car can't be really comfortable and sporty at the same time its either or or! I recommend you watch THE CAR CARE NUT channel his a Toyota/ Lexus Technician and a few videos on this it will help you a lot.
I had a Lexus Nx 300h top spec a great car had to sell due only using it once a week (I'm a London black cab driver) from now on I will only buy Lexus cars plus they hold their value well. German cars look and drive great when they work but too complex and not as reliable. I hope this helps 🙏 Good luck on your decision.

I have a 2015 N tec plus. Great can and super MPG. Has an engine oil leak, so my mechanic says. Took it to dealer who said it was oil misting???????????? and all they did was wipe it clean. Still has oil leak. Also SatNav card was 3 years out of date and they want 300 quid for a new one. They can get stuffed.

Which litre engine is the best one to buy??

    • @HenryGeorge2018
      @HenryGeorge2018  3 ปีที่แล้ว

The 1.5 is your best bet for that generation. The lower version is just lacking that bit of power. The 1.5 gives decent mileage too. (50mpg)

We own 2017 facelift model, purchased 2018 spring:
Battery replaced in less than a year, maybe even in half of year
Door handle replaced after 1 year of purchase
Oil leaks fixed after two years of use
Now we are waiting for climate control repair - 3.5 years after purchase
    Crap, not the quality

It's so frustrating isn't it? Hope you have managed to get resolved under warranty. Nissan just went cheap on the basic parts and are paying for it now. They are nice looking cars, full of decent tech, just badly let down in this generation by quality.

Get a Mazda or even a Hyundai. I am willing to bet that anything is better than a Nissan. It was the biggest mistake I made buying this shitbox: Lambda sensor replaced after 30000km; suspension strut problem after 45000km. Piece...of.....crap!

Hi Alan, I hope you are well. Yes our is particularly bad on cold days. You can warm up but makes no real difference. Did you ever find out what caused your rattle or are you just putting up with it?As an update they have changed approach at the dealership and now saying no fault found on the rattle and that we are driving with our foot on the clutch all the time (Interesting as I don't and no other car had had this issue) so looking like I may have to take it beyond the dealership/CEO complaints now.

Mini Man. I’ve had found out, that the rattling noise is coming out from top centre dashboard, I have stuck a washing sponge between dashboard & windscreen and the noise has gone!

Haha, I love the creativity here and wonder how you got to this solution :) Next time I am in the car as a passenger I'll give this a go by pressing my hand on that section and then getting a sponge too. This really should be a warranty fix, even if we just get a free sponge ;)

Althoguh my comment might have come a bit late. I bought all new qashqai in Sep 2021 primary xtronic special edition. It has never worked without showing me warning signs day 10 from its purchase, until the dealer mechanic has made it much worse after having disabled all its safety functions to let it drive without abruptly holding its brakes on sight of distant pedestrians. After 1000 miles only and they reported an oil leak then 3rd cylinder firing issue, repaired endless time but imagine all the waste of time leading to only worsening the problem and the car keeps breaking down time to time. Ofcourse, I habe rejected the car on several occasions but the customers and the mechanic insisted that the car has no faults and or been repaired. Other option is a settlement where you end up losing your deposits plus some.of the installments. Yet I am fighting the case and now it's month 7 from having the car and yet it has only 1200 miles as has slept most of its times at the dealer garage who did absolutely nothing when checking my nissan car trips app. Customer service phoning from France and relying on whatever that mechanic would tell them because they will take all measures to procrastinate to make you surrender and losing your rights. Beware of Qashqais and Peugots, it is not the car that matters but the quality of service available. Read articles on ongoing computer and battery issues and don't get tricked by biased reviewers. Ofcourse, some customers might end up lucky with a car having no major problems.
