this is the first youtube video I have seen about the Iphone 16 to be actually reasonable. I upgraded from an Iphone 11 to the 16 pro and the difference to me is day and night and I have no complaints. Thank you for being unbiased.
This is what I’ve been telling android users. Let me be the “apple fanboy” (term is immensely cringe btw) if it means that I can hold onto one phone for years to come. I’m still using the FIRST iPhone I bought (iPhone 8+ ) since 2018 and the phone is still running like a champ. Upgrading to 16 pro this year.
Well done! Money well spent on the 8+ Apple products really are good value. Lena’s pixel 6 from like 2.5 years ago blew up last week when the battery expanded.

I love my iPhone 6s Plus. It has been a faithful companion. The latest versions of certain apps no longer work with the latest software, so I'll need a new phone out of necessity. iPhones are not affordable anymore, so time for a change.
@SYalamanchili1 consider a used 15 pro now. It’s still a feature packed and very competitive phone. But all brands have pretty much crossed the £1000 mark now.

I like your style. Honest, no fluffing. Apple silicone cases failed on my 13 Pro Max twice in two years. The outer rubber peels from the inner hard shell, and once it rips, it doesnt stop. The volume buttons also sink in.

Alright, you earned a sub. I like that you flat out explained logical points without any bias or dramatic flare. Incremental improvements are fine. I’m happy that my phone isn’t left in the dust whenever a new one is released. When I’m ready to upgrade, it still has value that I can put towards the new phone or accessories for it.

The ONLY senseful opinion and take on the platform, my man deserve more subs man, I used a 12 pro max for 4 years, the battery swole on it unfortunately which made me upgrade to the 16 pro max hence making me one of the target markets for the phone, not my brother with a 15 pro max!

The regular 13? That’s the one I have in black (even though it seem like a very dark blue). If it worth it to go to the 16 pro? I mainly considered with battery life and I know the pros especially the pro max has very long battery life. I’m sure the variable refresh rate helps and the physically larger battery definitely helps.
I just got the 16 pro yesterday coming from the xs max and i’d say, i’m pretty happy with the upgrade. Now this is gonna be good for the next 5-6 years for me
i bought my 12 pro november 1, 2020 and have been running 15.6 for the last 2/3 years. just upgraded to the 16 pro and it’s night and day, absolutely zero complaints about the 12 pro, that’s why i kept it for as long as i did. probably going to keep the 16 pro for a long time too lol
@@VynZography iphones do last up to 7-8 years, I just pulled another 2 over it, they are good quality devices with quality hardware which kinda gets outdated after 5 years but works just fine until you run out of security patches, so I suppose my next iPhone would also be with me through my entire college, Bachelor's and masters at least, I'll buy my 3rd during my PhD

For me lack of full microfiber lining inside (both for back and for frame) is a big no! If you use hard plastic case without lining, you gonna get a lot of small imperfections on the frame over time.

I went from the 13 pro to the 16 pro max and my wife went from the 12 mini to 16 pro max. Surprisingly she says that the max is about the same weight and the mini, and a lot easier to use.
@@makeupyourmindinator that is surprising about the phone weights. I find the 16 pro feels heavier than the 15 pro. Ive always preferred the smaller lighter models.
coming from iphone 11 and got an 16pro last week... the thing I like about apple is how much time their phones are durable. used android for a good couple of years but each brand with their modified OS is something horrifying for me, my worst experience until today was definitely Samsung and their UI, best experience was with Motorola and the first generation of Moto G, that thing was impressive for how much it cost. Today I can't see any other brand coming closer to anything I can use for more than 2 or 3 years with a good enough performance and without a lot of bugs and crashes

@Mahh_Nery pixels are quite nice but they don’t real my EXFat formatted SD cards so that’s a deal breaker for me. Plus the whole OS made by an advertising company thing gets me nervous.
I upgraded from the 15 pro max to the 16 pro max not expecting much of an upgrade but I think its one of the best and biggest upgrade just because of the battery and the screen size. My favourite iPhone was the 13 pro max but I think 16 pro max will take that crown. Also the speed of this iPhone is insane so was a good upgrade for me. Depends what’s important to you really as in when it’s worth to upgrade. Just my experience on the upgrade.
Makes sense to me; I upgrade every 5 years. The phone works great as d still gets updates, so.... I didn't have 5g but my phone is great.. maybe because I'm just a regular person. 🤷

Apple fans still want the Steve jobs feel of unboxing and the excitement of getting their hands on a new iPhone. However, Tim cook is so disconnect with that the Apple fans want, he is so focused on cost optimization such as removing adaptors, stickers, etc ... to cut the cost but totally nothing is revolutionary in the iPhone 16 back-tracked to the iPhone 14. Apple has lost Steve Jobs and is now losing its connection with the real, true blooded, Apple Fans. The market is ready for a 3rd new player, a new "Apple" substitute that can bring back the original flavor of what Steve has given to the true blooded Apple fans.
Absolutely true! The penny pinching taking away of stickers is a telling sign on a company in trouble. Yet they give us useless camera buttons. Review of that coming soon by the way.
Totally understand your views on upgrading to the newest phone but I have to get the latest iPhone when it gets released but I do not keep them for long I sell it and go back to using my iPhone 14 Pro as there’s not really a big difference to that and an iPhone 16 pro seriously apple have stood still for some time
This is really dependant on your budget. If you can, sure just go for the 16 Pro, especially as you seem to keep phones for a long time. The longer keep it, the better the value!
I have an Iphone 10. I never felt the need to upgrade until IPhone 16 came out with their AI feature. Also the new iOS will not be releasing for my phone so my phone is now considered grandfathered.

I had my Iphone12 around 5years and that was the best phone i ever have had. However the battery and the screen died so i had to get a new mobile so i went for Iphone16 pro. Sofar im not impressed with it to be honest. It is good but i kinda hoped for bigger difference concidering going from regular 12 up to 16pro. I dont see much difference in picture qualityes between 12 and 16pro. On video i however see a bigger difference. 16pro feels faster but that wasent any problem on 12 eigher. My iphone12 never had any problems but my 16pro have freezed 2 times when looking on pictures. I have readed it most likelly is a bug in software so im sure they fix that with a update soon. I dont like the black thing on the screen i think it was better on 10 to 13 when it was up along the frame instead for abit down but that im sure just is something to get used to. Next time i buy a newer iphone i gonna wait to iphone 30 then maybe it actually is difference that motivate the price. For i feel concidering how overpriced theese phones is so should it bring alot more difference to because now it feels more like they simply steal your money on minor upgrades of the same thing. Time will tell if i be happy with my 16pro but it really have to step up to be even close to beat my 12 in delivery for the money and how pleased the phone make me.
With the difference between phones being so small now, the only time to upgrade should be when the old one dies, like yours did. Keep the 16 Pro till it dies as well.

Thank the Lord. Every year we have to listen to clowns talking about the latest iPhone not being a big enough upgrade.... and to wait until the next big upgrade that never comes. From iPhone 4 to iPhone 12 Pro Max, I had a new iPhone every year...... until I woke up and realised that virtually nothing had changed. So, I waited 4 years this time and picked up a 16PM. What a gorgeous screen, so much louder and clearer than the 12PM and the microphones are delicious. A real upgrade for me...... The 12PM is still going strong and at no time did it ever feel inadequate. I think the biggest issue with the 16PM, is the nonsense with the case manufacturers that are apparently in free-fall with this camera control button. There is a load of garbage on the market and indeed, decent cases like MOUS, should be avoided with their current offerings. The Clarity 3 case was a serious waste of £60 of my money. It's almost as if Apple never shared the details on the button before some companies went into production. Thank you for not following the typical histrionics of "content creators" making multiple videos, appealing to the entitled. Good on you!

The incremental annual upgrade was never meant to be a thing, it was the influencers who made it so. This is the first time I have had a phone, the iPhone 15 Pro, for only one year and that's only because I have a TH-cam channel now, but ill never encourage annual upgrades. Regarding the cases, I'm not sure how much about the button Apple shared before launch. To me, it would have been in their own best interest to share as much info as possible to give their customers a large case selection. I honestly don't know what hapened here. Thanks for watching! I had the 6s then the 11 now I have the 15 pro max so if I were to upgrade I will get the 17 or 18 upgrade every year is not gonna excite you but if you do upgrade 2-3 you will see a huge upgrade then a tiny one every year

Totally understand your views on upgrading to the newest phone but I have to get the latest iPhone when it gets released but I do not keep them for long I sell it and go back to using my iPhone 14 Pro as there’s not really a big difference to that and an iPhone 16 pro seriously apple have stood still for some time

This is really dependant on your budget. If you can, sure just go for the 16 Pro, especially as you seem to keep phones for a long time. The longer keep it, the better the value!

I have an Iphone 10. I never felt the need to upgrade until IPhone 16 came out with their AI feature. Also the new iOS will not be releasing for my phone so my phone is now considered grandfathered.
The X was a really stunning phone! Too bad no more updates.

I don't mind buying phones when a new ones about to come out.
I had my Iphone12 around 5years and that was the best phone i ever have had. However the battery and the screen died so i had to get a new mobile so i went for Iphone16 pro. Sofar im not impressed with it to be honest. It is good but i kinda hoped for bigger difference concidering going from regular 12 up to 16pro. I dont see much difference in picture qualityes between 12 and 16pro. On video i however see a bigger difference. 16pro feels faster but that wasent any problem on 12 eigher. My iphone12 never had any problems but my 16pro have freezed 2 times when looking on pictures. I have readed it most likelly is a bug in software so im sure they fix that with a update soon. I dont like the black thing on the screen i think it was better on 10 to 13 when it was up along the frame instead for abit down but that im sure just is something to get used to. Next time i buy a newer iphone i gonna wait to iphone 30 then maybe it actually is difference that motivate the price. For i feel concidering how overpriced theese phones is so should it bring alot more difference to because now it feels more like they simply steal your money on minor upgrades of the same thing. Time will tell if i be happy with my 16pro but it really have to step up to be even close to beat my 12 in delivery for the money and how pleased the phone make me.
With the difference between phones being so small now, the only time to upgrade should be when the old one dies, like yours did. Keep the 16 Pro till it dies as well.

Thank the Lord. Every year we have to listen to clowns talking about the latest iPhone not being a big enough upgrade.... and to wait until the next big upgrade that never comes. From iPhone 4 to iPhone 12 Pro Max, I had a new iPhone every year...... until I woke up and realised that virtually nothing had changed. So, I waited 4 years this time and picked up a 16PM. What a gorgeous screen, so much louder and clearer than the 12PM and the microphones are delicious. A real upgrade for me......
The 12PM is still going strong and at no time did it ever feel inadequate.
I think the biggest issue with the 16PM, is the nonsense with the case manufacturers that are apparently in free-fall with this camera control button. There is a load of garbage on the market and indeed, decent cases like MOUS, should be avoided with their current offerings. The Clarity 3 case was a serious waste of £60 of my money. It's almost as if Apple never shared the details on the button before some companies went into production.

Hi and thanks for your comments! Next week "I was wrong about the iPhone 16" LOL no just kidding! Its really nice to feel a big upgrade when you stick with a phone a few generations. The incremental annual upgrade was never meant to be a thing, it was the influencers who made it so. This is the first time I have had a phone, the iPhone 15 Pro, for only one year and that's only because I have a TH-cam channel now, but ill never encourage annual upgrades. Regarding the cases, I'm not sure how much about the button Apple shared before launch. To me, it would have been in their own best interest to share as much info as possible to give their customers a large case selection. I honestly don't know what hapened here. Thanks for watching! I had the 6s then the 11 now I have the 15 pro max so if I were to upgrade I will get the 17 or 18 upgrade every year is not gonna excite you but if you do upgrade 2-3 you will see a huge upgrade then a tiny one every year
