FYI a LOT of these cases are currently on sale for Black Friday! (I just didn't include the sale price in the vid for evergreen purposes) Sorry for a slight lack of uploads, lots going on behind the scenes (I'm moving to a new location in January) but should have a bunch of content now to close out the year STRONG 👀
I work in an Apple Store in Italy. We provide 2 years of warranty on the original cases, so even if they’re not that durable, just in case it exfoliate or if it does lose its silicone layer, you can have a brand new in the two years! Check if that’s true in the other Apple Store outside of Europe/Italy! (The warranty doesn’t cover accidental damages, but if the case last as long as it should with normal usage it should be fine).
I recently came across your channel and I am already binge watching half of your videos. Also, I really appreciate the typography styles used throughout this video!
Check out the phone revel cases, they’re really good quality and the camera button cutout is pretty good too. The bottom lip is pretty much flush when using a screen protector. Buttons are the same as pressing them without a case due to the design.
2:05 The case is made from a blend of polycarbonate and flexible materials like thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU), which necessitates an opening to make it easier to put on and take off. If the case were completely sealed, it would be extremely difficult to install and remove from the device
Wow thanks for the video I have been looking around the tube looking for cases for my new 16 pro max coming in today and when I saw that Classic C1 case from Spigen on this video in the orange I immediately went to amazon and purchased it! What a cool looking case and an homage to the old school imacs I remember seeing in the school library in the early 2000's. But before this video I already purchased apples silicone case in plum so I'll at least have two cases in rotation.
Great video as always. Still rocking my 15 Pro Max, but seeing the new designs for cases was nice. Personally, I usually rock the Nomad Rugged case, Otterbox Commuter & Clear cases, and Apple’s silicone case + Moment’s case to use my owned lenses. I picked up a Pixel 9 Pro XL this year, so using both devices, and my biggest gripe, is the lack of MagSafe options for the Pixel. I love the matching colours from Google on their first party cases, but ended up running with the Bellroy leather case since it did have MagSafe. I’d say you’re pretty spot on with a variety of options here. My top brands would be Nomad, Bellroy, and Otterbox (because of their replacement program).
I’ve purchased 3 70$ cases from casetify for my iPhone 13 Pro , the one with extra protection bounce cases and the sides start coming off after only 8-9 months.& the magnet for MagSafe did not hold the wallet in place. That’s why I’m looking for new cases and will not be choosing casetify for my new 16 pro
Another fantastic video. Great content, great visuals, great talking head. You've been sorely missed bro. Please turn up the consistency on the long form 🙏🏾
The Arc Pulse is the most interesting case you featured here. In fact, if I get a case at all, it will likely be this one as I plan to go caseless with AppleCare+. I like how it looks but it does protect too. I think the only concern is which color. I am planning on getting the 16 Pro in White Titanium so I'm guessing I'd get the Silver case. But the Rose Bronze on the Desert Titanium looks soooo good! Not sure I want to flip to the Desert Titanium just for the case though.
The spigen classic c1 case is so close to being perfect in my opinion. I like it when my case is as tight as possible with no flex anywhere, and the classic c1 is the tightest fitting case I’ve used, especially around the buttons. The design is awesome (esp the black one), and has a great amount of protection. My only gripe is that the material on the back gets really smudgy/fingerprinty/dirty pretty easily. It’s a shame because that seems like it could be an easy thing for spigen to fix, and if they did fix that the case would be perfect
Yeah it’s a REALLY well made case. If I wasn’t using a pro max (giant as hell nowadays) I’d probably use it more but sadly the heavier cases are a harder sell for the pro max for me
Since I love using dbrand skins on my phones I think I’ll go with the Ultra Hybrid from Spigen, but I’m getting the non MagSafe version; not a big fan of the big white circle in the middle of my case
Nice video, but its a shame that so many of the cases in this review (Spigen Classic C1 and Enzo Aramid, Nomad, etc...) aren't made for the regular iPhone 16.
Maybe I'll get an answer here. lol Does the Arc Pulse work with other screen protectors, like a Spigen? I love minimal cases (like my favorite Suiti PhoneBack) but don't want to get the Pulse for it to not work with anything other than their screen protector.
Are the iPhone 16 Pro and 16 Pro Max using the same cases? The links in the description lead to Amazon products that mention they are for the iPhone 16 Pro Max, but the video title says these cases are for the iPhone 16 Pro. Could anybody help me with this?
I have the 16 pro max cases linked but if you have a 16 pro you have to change it to that on the website. Most of these cases are offered in both versions (pro and pro max) which is why I titled it that way. The difference is obviously the size
Funny how you see a heavy phone as a negative, for me personally I miss having the weight of the stainless steel, like the 13 pro max. I was disappointed when I got my 15 pro max and it was super lighter. To me a heavier device feels more luxurious 😅
Yeah idk for something that I have in my hand literally all day long for work and stuff I want the lightest possible device while still maximizing battery. Might just get the regular pro next year if they continue to be good with battery life like the 16 series is
@@WillBowers Agreed! It looks better then the iPhone naked, prevents the screen and camera from touching the surface they're on when face or backside down, the phone cools off quicker and Magsafe accessories just feel ever more secure! The only case I've used the past 4 years and will continue to use! Arc should be paying me for this but I love their "case" so much that I'll continue doing it for free like Dave Chapelle said!
@@WillBowers Oh and I have the same one you do. Silver Arc Pulse on my 256 GB iPhone 16 Pro Max in white titanium. I always color match but there's no white Arc Pulse so silver was the next best choice. The color combo looks amazing though so I'm glad there wasn't a white one. Clearly a thing of beauty!
The Spigen Classic C 1 looks like the iMacs from 25 years ago. Is that what they were going for? I want a case that has a camera cover and some grip, but otherwise I would totally go for that for the throw-back to the Legally Blonde era.

Nice review Will! personally I would add to the list the Vionentus leather cases for iPhone, I got them 2 months already and those are very great!
I miss old leather cases from Apple, but yes there are some good alternatives, how much time does they take to arrive to US?
Those leather Apple cases were incredible
It takes 3 days tops 👍

waiting for nomad to add camera control button. Can't stand cutouts, my nails want to pull on it lol. Using Apple clear case in the meantime

I like the weight of the Apple Silicone case but it the opposite for gripy for me.

What is the spigen thin fit feel is it slippery?
No it feels similar to the apple silicone case for grip. Maybe like 10% less, but still very good

I like the C1 but I have iPhone 13 not 16 pro.
Typically I prefer slim cases anyway of which there weren’t many on this list.
