Hi. I’ve been using the montage case as my daily for months now, much longer than the Aurora. It is a similar case. It has protected the phone great. I even dropped it out of my pocket twice onto tarmac. The phone was fine and there were only 2 little marks on the case!

Hi. Yes it is the same on my unit as well. Also the same on the battery power bank. Unfortunately Anker used a very cheap display on these prime products. I leave mine on max brightness and the grey is visible but as I have it in a bright room it doesn’t bother me.

@@VynZography Really, really appreciate the considerate reply here, not to mention your fantastic and detailed review. GOing back to your "User Interface" video chapter, you cranked up display brightness to 100% and made some room lighting adjustments. Nevertheless, the display does appear inky black in the background behind all text. What do you attribute that to? Is that merely camera white/contrast balancing that's making it appear that way, in spite of your naked eye, in the room, seeing the same gray background, poor contrast issue that you and I are discussing here?

@ArtemMoshkovich mmmm. Now I am wondering if your unit might be different to mine. I cranked up the brightness to 100% because at 60% it was just way too dim. It’s hard to troubleshoot because what the camera sees is not what the eye sees. When I get home I’ll try to video exactly what it’s like.

The lock button should have had that like with older phones. Doubles as finger print so touch ID and also swype up and down to bring down and up the notification centre. They also should make the action button do two more things. Single and double click for two different actions as its only currently hold. So they should do what they've done with the lock button. Single for lock, double for apple wallet and hold for siri. Action button should also add a couple of extra actions

These are all very good ideas! Lets see if they do it.

@@VynZography they won't. It'll just have the capture button doing swype gestures to zoom. But to me, the lock button having touch ID or the action button doing two more actions would be way more useful than swyping to zoom. I'm all in for the capture button, but the action button shouldn't be limited to one action, when the lock button can do 3

Hey. I l live in London but I don’t have the facilities to do this job for people. I recommend getting a replacement cluster off eBay instead of trying to repair it. Just make sure you get the right one for your car and also remember that the new cluster will have the mileage of the car it came from 👍

Hi I'm still using these although I bought the iPhone 15 Pro now but they are still working great/ In fact they got an update last week that made them sound even better! I think having an iPhone to at least sync to and update is important for these...so have a friend with an iPhone LOL.

@@VynZography Do you know if fwupd has firmware for APP2? Iphone SE2 doesn't want to update my airpods. I know updating my iphone to iOS 17 would help, but can't downgrade and once you upgrade on an iPhone, performance becomes dog, unlike with a custom ROM on android.
