tl;dw it's A90 Toyota Supra but with 4 doors and has options between xDrive or RWD and a far more accessible price point. Absolute bang for your buck enjoyment if you can stomach the usual BMW maintenance tax or even better, work on it yourself. It makes all the right noises that make you grin from ear to ear even when you drive it stock. For you older buyers wanting a B58 but don't want a 2 door car. This is your vehicle of choice. From personal experience and talking to other long term owners: UPGRADE YOUR COOLANT EXPANSION TANKS IF YOU BUY ONE. They are made of plastic and tend to crack quite easily especially if you're a more "passionate" driver. It's a fairly cheap upgrade/fix to switch to an aluminum one, and if overlooked, can cause insane damage under the hood. Mine started cracking around 60-65k. There is also an option to replace your oil filter gasket with an aluminum one to address any early onset oil leaks from it.. if it isn't leaking already lol. Sidenote: the B58 did have to pass Toyota's bare minimum QA testing to be fitted in the Supra (which is impressive as hell)... sooooo do what you want with that information.
wanna get one but it doesn't have carplay correct? Unless its 2017 or above or something like that. Not a deal breaker of course but i heard you can retrofit or get an updated i-drive with carplay?
Yes it is! Only problem I had was the pcv valve going out but that’s very common. This is my everyday driver, I’ve put almost 20k miles on it in under a year
i'm curious what do you pay for a F30 340i in the states if it has between 40k and 60k miles on it? the cheapest i coud find in the netherlands is 29950,- euro (27731 USD) after taxes and has 193000 KM (120000 Miles) on the clock.
@@m3troerik i know, but the dutch government thought up an amzing way to get money when you import cars form germany etc. BPM (in short its a luxury tax on motor vehicles) And depending on how old, list price and polition you have to pay a percentage of the BPM as it would have been if you bought the car new in The Netherlands.🤣

@@Ibrahim_g80It's not necessarily the engine, but BMW electronics fail with age and cost thousands to fix because they're so complicated. This is a great car at the mileage shown in the video, but when they get to 150k-200k+ miles, they should be avoided. Good car; bad reliability at higher mileage.
Im really digging that Intake setup! That looks perfect.
This truly is a great car. I love my e46 330i but it's about time for an upgrade
