- One of the things on my fishing bucket list for 2024 is , I want to catch a Gilthead Bream.
This is the first in a series of videos following my pursuit of my quarry
I've been doing some research and have a plan so come join me in the start of my quest

Fished those spots a few times and your right it can be crappy I often given up after 3 to 4 hours after losing gear and snagging plus can be very dangerous fishing solo when the tide rolls in , I enjoy your vids ,good luck in the future stay safe as you know that can be a very dangerous area . Good video mate. I've only caught a couple of gilts on hard back crabs. I wouldn't be surprised if gilt head fishing becomes the new bass fishing in a few years..brilliant fish.
I've seen you can use hardback crab mate well done and thanks for the tip I might give that a go 👍 beautiful fish I can't wait to see one up close 👍
I’ve never been tempted by shore fishing still preferring the lures and LRF but 10 out of 10 for determination bud still hope we get out this spring or summer love to have go in the gilts myself tight lines bud

Enjoyed your video, mate.I fish at that mark a few times with some various success for bass. I live in Launceston , so it's not too far away. If you got any advice would be ideal. Love to see another video. Tight lines of screen real 👍

Thats a great mark for bass too..Can be a dangerous place..Have you tried the Camel or the Fowey??

I had a go in the camel estuary for bass in the autumn but had no luck if I'm honest I didn't try as hard as I should have but the weather made it real hard going
I plan to try the camel soon and a trip to the Fowey is on my wishlist this year

I know from past experience how much damage you tube vids can do to another persons passion...
Ive seen the damage incomers cause to both sea and carp fishing in the area to over exposure,hence why i taught myself never to tell anyone where i fish..
It never used to be this way but it is the way of it now.

Even worse he's got a Facebook group where he's willing to tell anyone who joins where he's fishing 😮.. like it makes a difference if he tells them on Facebook rather than on here .. when people think there videos more important than everyone else who ever fished there this selfishness is just unbelievable 😢
@@cornishlurerage..kayakinga2273what happens is ,immediately the vid goes on TH-cam complete alienation angling wise occurs..its called cut off your nose to spite your face and get likes ,BTW.. the area shown in the vid I visit everyday ..not only that my old friend lost his life near that very mark.

@@jamietipton5054 cool mate great tides mussels tomorrow you should be able to get right along the beach if you don't already know all the ways out look for a red life buoy above the big slanty rock if you get cut off which is easy the way out is up to that buoy and along the cliffs have fun stay safe

The biggest ones are right at the end but be careful because the way out the end there if you get cut off is a bit dodgy in the wet
Maybe u should consider all the other fisherman from the area who purposely DON'T put videos up because we don't want our beach marks BLOWN UP !!!!
