Rarely do you find out how kind and loving a person is until they are gone. George Michael secretly and quietly gave millions to help his neighbors and strangers never asking for anything in return. Our gift is to make him a legend.

Just a year before he had that near fatal pneumonia that landed him in the hospital with a coma and a tracheotomy so that he could breathe. It's amazing that he performed at the London Olympics a year later.
George gave millions away to help people and only asked to remain anonymous. There's not enough ink on this planet to write how much of a beautiful person he truly was. ❤
Do you know what a tracheotomy is? Do you know what pneumonia does to ones lungs? He was absolutely 100 percent of what he was and could give on this night and it was all he needed to be.
He gonna be sorely missed 😢 This is as elegant/iconic as it should've been - he sorta get back on the stage just for this special appearance ---- EXTREMELY SOUNDED SO FRESH and his live perfirmance is 100 times better than the album's version
I took my wife to see George as she was a huge fan of his. The guy had it all. Amazing voice, good looking dude, great songs. There will never be another like him
I was at his concert in the Netherlands June 26, 2007. His birthday was the day before and halfway the show, the crowd spontaneously sang Happy Birthday. His reaction was sweet as unbelievable, we saw he was shy and didn't like the attention, but smiled anyway. It was so, so sweet. I don't think there was a more humble artist as he was. 💖
I could rewind to 2012 I'd relive the London 2012 Olympics all over. Probably won't see it again in my lifetime in England again. Very proud to of been a part of history.
Definitely one of the best singers the uk has produced. One of the singers that if your hear him live he sounds exactly like a studio recording….. Brilliant and sadly missed.
Covid will never be over if people think that freedom is just given. Freedom is fought for. Covid should be a lesson well learned. Just like 9/11. You NEVER EVER trade away freedom for the illusion of safety and security. It never comes back. Freedom doesn't end no matter what the scenario is! Especially, in the United States. Start fighting, or our ancestors and forefathers fought for nothing! Communism is in our sights. See it, YET?! Wake up!!!!
This was so exciting on TV, and I loved White Light, his other song he performed that wasn't shown in the USA, but I saw online. I don't care what "80's-90's" fans think. We "lovelies" love his maturity on his later songs of all the albums we bought that he put out, plus the one offs that weren't part of an album, like White Light. I wish his family would release some more of his unknown songs, there's certainly a few more other than "This Is How".
Big on soul, spirit, heart and a positive mindset, it's not an easy place to navigate being in the spotlight, but his humanity and compassion still shone through ❤
Seeing this for the first time in 2020. George looked like he was near the end of something. Who knew that 4 1/2 years later he would pass away on Christmas Day, 2016. I'm so glad I got to see him perform live in concert, in Vancouver Canada, on July 4, 2008. Thanks George for a great show and the fantastic music. I will be raising a toast to you on your birthday on June 25th. Cheers!
I remember watching this on TV and thinking he is stronger than ever and how we will get a lot more music from him, and just 4 years later he passed away. Breaks my heart❤️
There were such epic moments in these ceremonies, this was huge. The crowds reaction to the intro says it all. You're loved and missed, George Michael.
I’ll never forget I pedalled so fast to get home to watch the ceremony! When the bongs started I immediately had goose bumps. George had that power of making you instantly happy. Miss him so!
what i find amazing is , if you listen you can hear the vibrato so heavy in his voice in this song... you could hear it every once in awhile when he was younger and it seemed to get less and less over the years . Robin Gibb is the only other person who i have ever heard with such a heavy vibrato.... i miss George and his music...may he finally be at peace
@@burlhorse61 Vibrato happens when the muscles of your singing voice pull against each other, creating a natural and harmless tremor. This tremoring of the muscles actually makes the wavering sound we hear as vibrato! But rather than a wobbly or unsteady sound, a well-trained vibrato sounds amazing!
I love George to death but this is not vibrato, this is live auto tune to help keep the pitch stable. It’s very noticeable here because it’s on an ungodly high mode which I don’t think was necessary, but oh well too late to critique. Still great high energy performance from him.
A beautiful talented man, his music is timeless, a genuinely nice person that didn't want publicity for his kindness... For all his fame he was very humble... Wherever you are George you are loved & respected by all of your lovelies, always x

I am not British.. but you guys gave us great music and musicians.. A LOT
This would turn out to be George Michael 's last televised performance. Can't believe that he's been gone for almost 5 years.
I hope if they after do a bohemian rhapsody type film about George....this is where it ends

Талантливый,величественный,прекрасный певец и человек, который в каждом сердце оставил частичку своей души и сердца❤🙏💐❤🔥🌟💖⭐💔
Although his voice was shaky, still he could sing 1000 times better than most singers nowadays
Just a year before he had that near fatal pneumonia that landed him in the hospital with a coma and a tracheotomy so that he could breathe. It's amazing that he performed at the London Olympics a year later.
Don‘t think it‘s his voice that‘s shaky, sounds clearly like a technical problem to me.
@@camenmusic Yes, its definitly a tech. problem.
it was a sound issue. listen to him singing White Light straight afterwards. much better.
yeah definitely a technical problem, he still sounded great by 2012
Джордж Майкл 🎉мы помним вас!!
Freedom is now 30 years. And is and always will be Modern, Sophisticated, Fresh, Catchy, Elegant and Rebel at the same time.

Coolest Olympics closing ceremony ever, and probably always will be. Britain showing the World how to do it.
This was back when Britain was still Great.

Hats of to Paris though. Amazing production and c0ncept. Stunning setting too
Completely agree!
Totally agree with you ❤❤❤
You can tell he wasn't 100 percent himself. Yet he came out and gave it all he had, magnificent.
Thank you George
I beg to differ, he always gave 100% and fed off the crowds energy❤ love him!
