You’re the first person to show the different types of clips needed for shingle vs gutter application. I realize now that I’ve spent too much money on bigger clips that also look really messy. Wondering if I have the energy to redo the entire house tmrw….after I go and buy those cheap clear clips lol. Your home looks beautiful and your attention to detail is commendable. It looks classy without over-doing it like you said, great choices on the wreaths but I would add one Rudolph with a glowing red nose just to make it a little fun, maybe to the left of the door infront of the green bush where there's a lot of space. 6:10 install a hook up on the roof to tether too, in your case the roof is quite steep, the hook are not expensive and if you can put up light you can put up a hook on the roof. Or pay someone to come out and install the hook for you (a roofer would be able to do it easily and cheap)

That red and white looks clean. We just did ours and we have icecicles and color c9 i think going across the front porch, c7 color around garage door, c5s on 2 of the front windows, 4 inflatables, 2 falling snow projectors and 2 strands of c5 white bulbs on 2 front bushes
Man what a pain in the ass, this is our first x mas in our new home and I had to to use power strips, 3 ways and numerous extension cords to make them work off 2 switches. It does look good though.
Im considering getting a large wreath for over the garage, I still have 1 strand of color c7s that i need to put on the inside window thats over the garage door.

Wear the safety harness. That's way too high. one of our coworkers fell from half of that height and he nearly died!

How did you overcome your fear of heights?

I used logic to convince myself that if I took the proper precautions I would be fine. Over time I became more confident.

IM SO SURPRISED TO SEE THE LEVEL OF DETAIL AND PROFESSIONALISM YOU ATTEMPT TO APPLY TO YOUR LIGHTS BUT YET YOURE MISSING THE MOST IPORTANT PART!!!! MALE AND FEMALE VAMPIRE PLUGS BRUH WITH MAKE AND FEMALE VAMPIRES YOU COULD HAVE EVERYTHING HOOKED UP EVEN IF YOU ONLY HAD ONE OR TWO EXTERIOR OUTLETS

Can you please elaborate? I only have one exterior outlet in the front. That’s the only outlet I have to work with. What are vampire plugs?

Those are great plugs BUT you still run into the issue of max load on each wire. They are perfect when using LED lights. I have to use 4 different circuits so I don’t trip the breaker.

Vampire plugs allow you to cut and add a plug anywhere you need to on a wire. They pierce the wiring (vampire) so they just clamp on. If you are using the older style bulbs and not LED, they don’t solve the issue of overloading a circuit with too many lights.
