i find it quite funny that when buzzfeed had people not drink coffee for a week, they struggled more than the potheads and they say marijuana is addicting. Ha.
Cheque actually, coffee is addictive but marijuana isn't and that's a pretty well known fact... maybe someone can emotionally depend on marijuana but you don't get the same physical withdrawals as you do with caffeine. I don't see many people trying to say weed is addictive
+taryn w well for my entire childhood i was taught that marijuana was addicting by parents, teachers and the government, but theyre nobody right? Yes it is known that weed isnt addictive, but that doesnt stop people from trying to tell you otherwise. Hence why i said the IDEA of addiction is in peoples heads.
Cheque - you lying. I don't know why u you're trying to sound cool on fucking buzzfeed video of all places trying to convince anyone that you were smoking that much. Anyone who smokes 1 gram a day let alone 15 cones LMAO a day will have crazy sleep issues just for starters and you did this for a year? Lmao That's not even getting into the constipation and restlessness that comes after. Where are you from where you smoking this boo-boo weed? 🙈🙈🙈🙈
Am I the only one who gets productive while beeing high? I love to clean my appartement when I'm high, also taking walks in the sunlight while beeing high is great.
You can, It's not like cigarettes our body doesn't depend on it. People say you can't get addicted to weed but there are two types of addiction, mental and physical.
I smoked weed from the age of 15 until 17 every weekend and then from 17 until I was 25 every single day. Got my Bachelors and Masters degrees, started my career and got in a serious relationship. I started to feel like I was dimming out so I quit one day cold turkey. Over the next 10 years I hardly ever smoked. Years would go by before my next time. At the age of 35 and being very stressed out with work and life in general just making me so irritable I decided to try smoking again to mellow out and decompress from the stress. It's been 5 years of almost daily use and I have gotten a big promotion at work, bought a house, had a baby and don't think I will ever stop smoking.
Nice one mate weed definitely gives you the brain power to accomplish more in life. I've been unable to get some for 6 and half months, , can honestly say it's much better when high life so much better and the mind is expanded. Living abroad now if I was still in my own country I'd be a daily smoker. Smoked for 16years daily after quitting at the start had some weird vivid dreams but no withdrawals or major cravings. Don't need weed I would like a we smoke tho lol
I smoked for the past 14 years and went on several “tolerance breaks”. It finally clicked that something wasn’t right. Sometimes you just have to quit for good. Today is day 17 for me and I have no desire to go back. I fought it at first, but not now. I’m stronger than ever. It honestly feels like I’m getting to know myself again and I love where this is headed. For anyone who is just starting to quit, hang in there, all of the anxiety, depression, insomnia, mood swings, all of that will eventually go away, and you will stabilize.
natalie montgomery thanks for asking, that’s awesome. I’m doing really well. The end of August will be 5 months for me. I’ve been way more productive, my mood has stabilized, I’ve started running, and I even got into Grad school. Things are really great!
I stopped smoking 4 days ago! And today is the hardest day😭 I have literally all symptoms you can have. I feel there is no luck left and my soul has gone out of my body. Everything I eat comes out straight away. This message gave me a little hope though. Thanks allot🙏 how are you doing now?
@@idirmakhlaf1435 Your body is just going through changes, sounds like it’s purging. Change is not easy my friend, especially this. Power through it and you will come out the other side a better person, I promise! I’m about 7.5 months in now. You can do this 🙌🏼💪🏼
the thing is.... potheads won't sell their bodies or go to extremes if they can't get weed. theyll just get a bit grumpy... like the kinda grumpy you get when youre hungry. I don't believe anyone gets addicted to weed to the levels we usually relate to the word. *Addiction* is a strong word and it shouldn't be used when talking about weed users since the level of reliance is minimal and the withdrawal is pretty much nothing.
It's important to note the negatives it has for instance being able to cause psychosis if you are predestined to get one.. still the benefits often outweigh the negatives but it's always important to make informed decisions and not getting influenced by the culture surrounding something.
@@Otzkar I’m not disagreeing that pure weed can give you psychosis but a lot of people get those problems when smoking Skunk and weed laced in fibreglass and spice
@@Saint_55 I'm actually kinda scared buying weed atm since apparently there's alot going around that has fake canabinoids sprayed on to them that make you physically dependent. I really hope I never come in contact with that stuff
As someone who's mother has fibromyalgia, I would much rather have grown up with a mom that smokes weed than a mom in constant pain. Think before you judge.
Healthy people don't have the cognitive abilities to understand such a complex difference in lifestyle. They talk about things they don't understand because they are sad and lost overall, trying to find meaning in the world by making beliefs on things they have no idea about , many of times will contradict them later in life. Unfortunately due to so many years of living in this false reality they have made they aren't able to break out of that delusional hypnosis their life has conditioned them in. A very interesting concept actually you should check it out
vans255 yaaaas. Back to a "one toke wonder". I smoked daily for 15 years. Had to quit 14 months ago because I moved to the UAE, went home for Christmas this year and had a puff nearly every day. A few tokes and I was done - compared to my "used to be able to smoke for hours". Was way cheaper. Lol.
Savanah Sun yeah. I know she has a younger daughter. And if they have been smoking recreationally for ten+ years, then they have been doing it illegally.
Getwidit when you’ve smoked weed for so long and you’re tryng to quit a few cigarettes kill time and makes it easier to stop weed overall, not necessarily healthier but better for the moment
jacob I am currently on the fourth day of my week tolerance break and after the 2 or 3 day you stop thinking about smoking and it gets easy and to keep yourself from smoking just tell yourself how great it’s gonna be when you get to smoke at the end of the week
I can never get past 3 days. I already want it and then when my medical issues flare up it's a nightmare. I won't be able to break unless I really want to.
i've smoked for 50 years kids. i've smoked as much as 40 joints a day. these days i'm 73 and smoke about 3 -5 joints a day. the less we smoke the higher we get. budda said follow the middle path. less is more. good luck have fun gare
i think weed, like seriously all things, can be enjoyed in moderation. people that rush to say that weed is a perfect plant and that nothing bad can happen are just as bad as those who say weed is "all evil." you can enjoy it without overdoing it. like alcohol (bare with me for a moment) you can overdo it, but a drink every once in a while isnt bad at all! im not saying dont do it, but just like everything else in life, be smart about it.
It's not physically addictive, meaning that if you stop smoking even after doing it consistently for a while you won't feel any physical effects (such as feeling sick, headaches, nausea, etc.). You can become psychologically addicted, meaning that you may think that you need weed to relax or you may think that you need weed to have fun. There is no physical withdrawal from weed, but you can become addicted psychologically.
When we say "we NEED to smoke up" we dont mean that in a literal way, we dont need to smoke anything. Especially with weed, since you can't get physically addicted to it you don't get withdrawals. No waking up hungover. No throwing up. No headaches. So when we some, we smoke because we want to and its fun.
I smoke weed and for me its easy to stop for awhile. I dont like to, but sometimes my tolerance builds up and I need to take a tolerance break to save weed and money. It really depends on the person.
gwenyth jaide, I agree with you on that. I use for my Ankylosing Spondylitis and Depression but have to take breaks to lower my tolerance. Have you found that switching intake methods or even strains helps with tolerance?
I pity you people. for 20 yrs I have been high. only time I was not high is when I coulnt find any herb... which was rare where I grew up. never took a tolerance break.
switching intake methods is a good idea. and finding a few strains that you like is also a good idea. could be why I have always thought tolerance breaks are pointless. intake method > strain change
Kaylabayla It appears to be growing out, an eyebrow piercing is a surface piercing and the problem with any surface piercing is your body can reject it and push the jewellery out slowly with time until it ultimately either just comes out or the skin is so thin it just rips out accidentally.

Weed doesn't have addictive qualities such as the nicotine in cigs, but addiction is a complex thing and you can get addicted to anything. Cigs, soda, coffee, cleaning, weed...
2 people literally said they smoke it to manage pain for fibro myalgia and joint pain and that's why they started but continued recreationally. That pain is still there though

Me and my partner have stopped smoking for a while as can’t afford it atm, we both feel less motivated to do anything. And I think it’s because we don’t have that reward at the end of the day to look forward to. Anyone else feel much lazier when not smoking then when smoking??
Idk, sometimes I smoke myself into a slump, and after getting sick with covid I stopped smoking for a while. Taking a month long tolerance break and am nearing the end of it. Became much more motivated to do things that I like. At the end of the tolerance break I will continue smoking but not as much as before
i think it's cool that they were overall enlightened by the experience. weed totally isn't a bad thing when used in moderation, but it's nice that they noticed that at times they were using it to numb feelings that are supposed to be felt. it's nice that buzzfeed actually got people to do something beneficial for themselves rather than just try a booby blender or wear nipple piercing bras.
i know for sure buzzfeed did the nipple bra thing, and pretty sure they both did the booby blending. that's been spreading around thru youtube in general so a lot of channels have done it.
Isabelle 6915 smoking cigarettes isn't something you can easily just stop doing. weed isn't physically addictive. cigarettes are HIGHLY physically addictive. It's an extremely difficult process to quit smoking
wow.... i smoke weed pretty much everyday, but as soon as im out of weed and cant get more for a while i dont have problems not smoking. i mean, weed isnt addictive but i can clearly see what people mean when they say you develop a dependency on these people
^^ and with me, I'm almost everyday but sometimes I don't smoke for the smallest of reasons. Maybe I don't want to cause it's raining outside, maybe I don't want to because I'm so into a computer game.
@ShadowNny When people refer to addiction in regards to cigarettes and alcohol, that's real. It's chemical addiction. You body and your mind become physically and mentally dependent on it (this not dependency, it's addiction). You can go through withdrawls, and you can feel legit pain from not smoking. Weed, however, is NOT chemically addicting. You can quit cold turkey and you'll be fine. You might crave it, but you're not going to go through withdrawls. Stoners take tolerance breaks all the time and their fine. There IS a difference between addiction and dependency, and to say there isn't misleading, and just plain inaccurate. My intention here is not to attack you, merely to state what I know. Thanks!
TheJFeld it’s psychologically addictive and I know cause I’m quitting because I gained a psychological dependency on it. So dependency and addiction are one in the same. They just come from two different places the body and one from the mind.
What a great drug! You can take it for years and when you stop the worst that happens is you're a bit uncomfortable for a couple of days. Alcoholics who go cold turkey often have to be hospitalized.
This is true ! but I have to say from personal experience there are lasting negative effects from long term daily use. When I stopped smoking I realized how many of my friendships were based on weed and are no longer fufilling. I realized how my eating and sleeping habits are shaped by weed, and these habits are really hard hard to change even tho I stopped smoking. Still better than alcohol, but def not a great drug I’d say
@@noam1598 the eating one is the absolute worst. I can’t eat without weed or I get seriously anxious and physically sick. It’s psychological, but it’s so powerful.
Clinical observations show that the use of cannabis more often than about every six weeks (elimination time of THC) for approximately two years, lead to changes in cognitive functioning. These changes create a new state of consciousness which can be described as a "cannabis state dependant" effect. This effect may result from the release of stored THC. Experimenting with cannabis, you are frequently acutely intoxicated and experience this state in relation to a normal non-intoxicated state of consciousness. The aftereffects are a passive, unreflecting, and blunt state of consciousness, lasting a day or two. If you smoke again within a period of six weeks or less, these aftereffects last longer. You have gradually adjusted to this altered state of awareness and it will be your new normal state of consciousness. After a period of regular use you then experience the acute state of intoxication in relation to the effect of the chronic influence (being passive and blunt). After a critical period of chronic use, the acute state of intoxication is then perceived as one which creates a feeling of being capable and normal. This state lasts for two to three hours and is reported as weaker than day-to-day capacity in the non-intoxicated state. The effects vary with the doses used over time. Acutely intoxicated you will experience a feeling of capacity and a sense of being normal and thereby enabled to perform different tasks. In the beginning you smoke to get stoned, but after a while (individually) you have to smoke to be normal.

I used to be a stoner, smoked typically 3-6+ times a day for 3 years. There came a time when I started feeling very anti social and distanced myself from my friends. I also skipped school on multiple occasions just to smoke weed all day. Now I've had to force myself to quit because I'm joining the USMC this coming August. It's been really nice and refreshing to not rely on smoking weed day in and day out. For any stoners reading this stay chill and spark a fat bowl for me!
I was a daily pot smoker, and while it's not an addictive substance, you get addicted to the way it makes you feel. I had a terrible experience one day, that made me quit forever. I still think it's really great, and there are times I miss it and wish I could still smoke, but yeah I see myself a lot in these people, where it was just like I wasn't happy or having fun until I was high, and a joint could just put me in a good mood. I think it's one of the less harmful 'drugs' out there, but it can become an addiction, and it really isn't until you stop, you're just like, wow, I was addicted to weed.
That's alright. Basically it was like any ordinary day, I had friends over and I picked up and smoked a joint. I suspect my weed was sprayed or laced with something strange, no idea what, but a few hours later I woke up gasping for breath, and just everything was different. The way I saw thing and heard things, it was delayed or moved with a trail, I was hyper aware and then had spells of depersonalisation. The next few days I was hearing voices, I had (still have) visual snow. The following months, I developed anxiety, panic attacks and migraines, which I had never experienced before. It's basically been 4 years since this happened. I still have visual snow, still feel depersonalisation sometimes. I don't really know what the cause of it was, but I suppose I'm fine now. I still drink alcohol, and the day after drinking most of those symptoms are stronger, so I'm not sure if its neurological, but yeah I see it as a blessing in disguise honestly. Hope that answered your question.
Hey Shannon. That's exactly how my anxiety disorders were triggered about 4 years ago. I smoke a small amount of weed maybe three times a year. I don't miss it at all and I feel much better, my depression and derealisation have massively reduced and life in general is far, far better for me without pot.

It took me two weeks to feel normal. And that was only me smoking for 3 straight years. I got so irritable and sleep was non existent for the first two weeks. After that I felt amazing. Haven’t went back yet and it’s been 30 days.
@Sheila Mbugua that’s perfect I’m glad you picked up on those. I too notice that after like a week of everyday use I begin to not feel as high again already I get what you mean. Thanks as this has helped me keep my everyday intake to 3 days max
Im taking a tolerance break tomorrow. Ive been smoking too much fire bud all day and night for years straight. If it takes 2 joints of very potent maine farm grown bruce banner joints to catch a buzz, you know you need a TB and at this moment im just wasting very good and expensive weed. Would like to get back to 4 hits of banner sending me into hyperspace not 2 giant fat joints barely getting me high
okay understand 2 out 3 people's reason to smoke, because they have medical needs. but just smoking weed to smoke weed and get high for no reason. then to go out drinking so don't have sober, I don't see the point.
Lauren Newsom I don't why people go and smoke weed for recreational purposes. Like they can use the weed in its herb form, it's natural form...but they decide to make it more dangerous by burning it and smoking...smoke in your lungs can cause breathing complications
I smoke daily and tbh, everytime I had to stop for some time (mostly due to tolerance, from 2 weeks up to 2 months), I honestly didn't even mind. I think it can be addicting if you really have nothing else to do in your life, but if you have friends or a hobby, then I don't see how you'll ever really get attached to weed like people are attached to cigarettes or coffee.
Yes! I have friends who aren't studying or working and they smoke all the time, they can't be without it because they would have nothing else to do, things wouldn't be as exciting if they weren't high often.

Isn't it important that we see this though? This is what will happen to a lot of people when they can't access or no longer feel the risk is worth acquiring pot.
it's been scientifically proven that humans tend to replace habits instead of getting rid of them, sometimes people choose negative ways, sometimes the negativity is a matter of opinion.
Do not use or support recreational marijuana because it has a tangible connection to the drug war. Recreational marijuana bought from a criminal organization involved in the drug puts money in suppliers pockets which supports by association, financially supporting organized criminals fueling their wars which cause deaths to the innocent. Also, take a stance against present state and country recreational marijuana legalization because it continually helps criminal gangs and cartels by giving them an additional access a supply of marijuana. For example, criminal organizations got caught taking advantage of recreational marijuana legalization by orchestrating and operating recreational marijuana grow operations according to (The Legalization of Marijuana in Colorado The Impact Volume 4: Page 115). This example out of many more proves recreational marijuana legalization continually helps criminal organizations which increases criminal activity.
PREMISE If it’s legal no one would go on the black market for weed and weed dealers aren’t some crazy gangs, usually just a home grower with a couple plants. Maybe you should just calm down with your conspiracies and roll up 😎
Every now and then I'll take a tolerance break for between like one to four weeks, whatever feels good at the time. Though it always pulls me back in sooner or later. But tolerance breaks are good to really find out who you are and how to cope with life without just numbing yourself. There is a balance. Marijuana users can still be productive active members of society. I usually like a strain thats more sativa than indica, depending. Some bud just gives me so much energy and motivation. Smoke a bit and I'll have the whole house cleaned and organized in about half the amount of time it'd take me sober, I swear.
Uhhh, just to let anyone know, the cannabinoid receptors in your brain can fully reset in 48 hours so I’d suggest take a break every 2 weekends for 2 days. 2-4 weeks isn’t a tolerance break, that’s just a personal goal.
Austin Nelson I thought so cuz I don’t really see a tolerance difference between 2-7 days. So I just chill on some weekends like this one and I just get a delivery on Monday.

I've smoked every single day for the past 4 years, and periodically before that. I just now (within the last month, or so) am realizing how far it's set me back in terms of personal progression, especially in my art, music, and social life. I'm actually quite thankful for this video, because it personifies the negative effects that I've created for myself while using marijuana, that being the substitution of m.j. for alcohol, cigarettes, etc, and how I've used it to fill my time with a feeling of fulfillment and contentment, despite participating in any activities that create a genuine and unsynthesized sense of fulfillment and progression. That being said, I HUGELY respect cannabis for it's medicinal effects, for the great times that I've had consuming it with other people, and for the influence that it's had on my perception of the world around me. I just haven't used and moderated it in a productive way that relates to my life personally, and I don't want to assume a position of "holier than thou," as everyone's relationship with cannabis is so unique, which is beautiful, but also daunting. I personally won't be consuming again until I feel that I have made steps to improve my personal progression as an artist and as a person, and until I can consume it at a time an place that is allocated for enjoying marijuana, without it interfering with my personal life. I'm personally just tired of wanting to substitute so much of my life with m.j., so I'm going to start substituting m.j. with life.
dude only people who lost a great time of their life and opportunities because of m.j say what you said. I pray that your life becomes a blessed one with high productivity in help of humanity.

I'm not snoop dogg or willie nelson.. don't make enough to smoke all day every day, and never have to worry about losing my job. Maybe someday. A girl can dream.
After a decade of smoking daily and consuming 1000mg/day, I decided to quit cold turkey. The first weeks were extremely difficult, but once I got through oh my god... the mental clarity, peripheral awareness, reaction time and stimulation to light were all out the roof. I felt like my iq shot up twenty points. Every day now feels as if I am on adderall. My reading ability has nearly doubled. My short term memory is at least 10 fold what it used to be. My auditory processing is automatic now, whereas before I had to take time to digest what was being asked or told. I never experienced depression or anxiety, but I did feel quite irritable in the initial weeks after quitting (which eventually subsided). A lot of the stories of people quitting are very different than mine, but I wanted to share with you my experience in case it might offer a benefit to someone looking to quit. *Note that I began smoking around 20 whereas most stories I have read ppl started in high school (so how it affected my brain may be different than most). Also it should be noted that I was taking about ten times as much thc than the average daily smoker.

Ridiculously overdramatized. Many daily users take regular breaks (sometimes a few days, some times a few weeks) to keep their tolerance - among other things - in check. If you can't go a few days without it being difficult to abstain, then yes there is probably an issue. But let's not paint all "stoners" this way.
Kristen Howard yeah I take month brakes to maybe save money or just do something else, when I start binje smoking is when I kinda get a dependantcy for it to make me sleep and when I take a break it is really hard to fall into sleeping without it
Idk personally ive stopped for a month and it wasnt even hard like i thought it would be. My tolerance went down too which was great. It felt good to get a break. Weed is definitely not for everyone i mean when it gets down to it you just have to be responsible about it and dont let it become your priority. Plus it helps clear up that fog feeling you get in your head when you smoke too much. Edit: oh snap, didn't except all those likes down there👌
Did you happen to be busy with anything else that month? I blaze daily but if I have something going on to take up my time I will just straight up forget to blaze and realise before going to bed or something. It's another story if I'm bored all day/insomnia hits of course, but it's interesting you can just stop like that with no prolonged effects even for daily users.
DarkLabel Yeah, no addiction is okay. but tbh, a WiFi addiction is better than inhaling any kind of smoke(I am aware that it's hard to be badly effected by Marijuana, but that doesn't mean it's good to smoke daily).
For me? I cut down, smoke it less often, have other habits in place so weed doesn't take centre place or be used to enhance every little thing in my life. Much happier with current usage, mindset than I was when I smoked it often. Plus I get high from so little now in comparison
@@justanotheryoutubeaccount8011 I stand by the idea of small amounts of weed. That way for one, you save money, weed, and you get more baked, but it also enables you to fully enjoy your day without the presence of weed, making it even better when you finally decide to smoke
@@rockerbox2112 likewise. I quit the daily habit, now my tolerance is like a first timer. I personally found weed made problems seem so much harder and harder to fix than when I'm sober. Everyone's different, my friend can smoke a gram in a joint and function well, if I took 4 or 5 hits of his joint I'd be paranoid as hell. For me smoking less was the better option, when I get tolerance to it I don't appreciate it or anything else around me as much.
I smoke before i sleep and sometimes before a meal, i find weed very affordable because i dont smoke ciggs or drink alcohol. Me and my gf smoke to sleep because she suffers from anxiety/depression. She says that weed has been the only thing that helped her mind stay quiet and shes never been better since she started smoking. Im a young chef who sells food from home during covid so weed seriously helps me to make really good recipes! :))
I've smoked several times in a day, everyday, for 6 years. I'm a student, a server, a good person. I don't believe I'm hurting myself in any way. It helps with my manic depression and anxiety. It helps me sleep through the night. It sometimes is the only reason I'll get out of bed on my really bad days. I love marijuana💛
I've smoked every day after work for the past week- went from a "once every four months" smoker to a daily smoker. I was knocked out as soon as my head hit the pillow. My short term memory was also a little worse. I was a little more relaxed generally too, but bc I slept way more than usual I didn't get anything done. It was a cool experiment, but im ready to be sober 24/7 again.
so where's the part where they talked about sleep withdrawls and the restless nights, staying up until 4am until you crash out and burn???? should have chucked in a younger stoner who smokes every day and you would have seen a way bigger difference in reaction to having to go without weed for a week, someone who actually struggled would have made this video more believable, cause 80% of time people who smoke everysingle day for a few years would find it harder than these guys had it
From personal experience and observing those around me I would have to disagree. Iv'e gone from smoking multiple times a day, every day for years, to cold turkey for a year without skipping a beat. It wasn't even difficult to stop.
I take a tolerance break every 6-8 months, depending on how I feel. This is what that time looks like for me. It's like chocolate. Tell me I can't have chocolate and I'll be bummed and "crave" it, but I won't have the shakes or go through physical withdrawals. It's nothing compared to the withdrawals I've experienced with pharmaceuticals.
When I stop smoking for a bit, the only symptoms I get are nightmares (One of the reasons I started was to get rid of them) and sleeping problems (which I had before I even started smoking). Idk man, everyone's body reacts differently.
You know being 2 years sober from weed. It actually hurts me to watch this video. This wasn't about dealing with chronic pain. The person with fibromyalgia is a bad test subject in this sort of experiment. They obviously use it for medical reasons but the other two people do not. I stand by my opinion. A week is not long enough.
Jthymesthree well whats 30 days? Some substance abusers take months to "feel right" 7 days sober isn't enough, but it's something 2 base some kind of opinion on.
Jthymesthree it's not like you can just quit forever. When you smoke a lot your body starts to depend on it. So to stop instantly for 30 could cause harm to the body. 7 days is a safe amount of time
Oh Jesus, I have a card and I can buy and have weed legally. I'm anti-social with or without weed. I hate drunks and people in general so if I do stop smoking it will not change my opinion on people being trash. I just buy a nice guitar with my money.
It is quite hard to get addicted to pot actually, like yea it might seem like people can but alchole and cigarettes give you worse withdrawals than pot could. As someone who smokes for not only for chronic back pain and to help keep blood pressure down during sudden cramps on my period, i use it also for my ADHD and my anxeity and depression, i get snappy when i go without but thats because I am in chronic pain and thats what happens when you take "medication" away from someone with ADHD.
Jort Wolda - because cigarettes are loaded with chemicals that cause nothing but cancer and re highly addictive. Marijuana, while it does produce small amounts of tar, has a positive effect on users and isn't nearly as unhealthy or addictive, especially when used in moderation. People don't have to stop for pot breaks because pot isn't addictive, and doesn't have the same calling "itch" cigarettes do. You can smoke every other day, once a day, etc. or even just up and take a week off, as opposed to multiple times a day without fail. Whatever was up with "Smoke Weed" most stoners are nice people too. Except, y'know, your typical...outliers..
I'm nearly 3 weeks clean from weed and I actually feel Good! I had such a high tolerance and the 1st week was so hard (I couldn't eat or sleep and my body temperature kept fluctuating between severe sweats and shivers) but I've finally got my appetite back and now I sleep like a baby. If there's anyone who's struggling, hang in there, those feelings do go away.
This right here is what daily smokers need to see. It's not all sunshine and rainbows. I smoked for 7 years daily. I understand completely what you went thru.
People talk like stopping is hard xD I can go from smoking daily to not smoking for 2 weeks and not be bothered. I feel like the faked this video because I have never seen anybody react like they did off of not smoking for a week.
y'all need to know the difference between addiction and dependency. Your dependent on your phone and the internet, some people can't go a day without their phone. This doesn't mean they're addicted to their phone, they just have a dependecy to it. Same with people who use Motrin or Tylenol to help with pain, after some time of taking it they will feel the need to take it out of habit. Addiction is when you pysichally can't go without a substance, hence withdrawals. We see people who try heroin or even perscription drugs you get from a doctor get addicted. Seeing that the only negative effect to taking the weed away is missing the weed, doesn't say it's addictive. For the girl who lost sleep; This shows that she formed a dependency for weed to help with her sleep. After a month or so she will be back to normal. WEED IS NOT ADDICTIVE, but can be correlated with dependency.
there are so many other variables that can play into someone's behavior... marijuana stays in you system longer than you think, even if its not traceable in your urine or blood, it still lingers in your body, so one wouldn't experience withdrawals til after a lengthy amount if time.
+Dylan Garza Physical dependency is the experience of chronic pain patients who are able to take their medication for pain but don't develop the uncontrollable compulsion. Addiction is a condition manifesting as uncontrollable cravings, inability to control use and compulsive use. The people in this video are clearly showing signs of addiction, and not physical dependency. BTW phone, internet, and gaming are all addictive, not dependent. Know the difference before you decide to spew your idiocy.
Vanger48912 really? So because someone enjoys smoking recreationally they are a stoner, does that mean if someone likes to drink regularly they are a drunk?
I HOPE EVERYONE HAS A GREAT DAY, AND HAS THE LUCKIEST DAY EVER EITHER TODAY OR TOMMOROW! LEAVE A LIKE FOR LUCK! IF YOU'RE GOING TO SLEEP I HOPE YOU GET A GOODNIGHTS REST! LOVE YOU ALL, TAKE CARE - BE HAPPY!
Weed is like junk food. If you occasionally treat yourself to a nice juicy burger it wont do you much harm. The same goes with occasionally smoking. If you eat too many burgers you start to run into a lot of problems the same goes for smoking.
fogaco Vitor oh ok but the only reason you even might even consider (don't know why you would ) weed giving you a life threatening illness or diagnosis is because some people mix cigarette or tobacco into their joints giving them like no term effects
i have no idea what you're trying to say, please work on your communication skills. i also smoke weed everyday from my big glass bong with 4 arm tree perc which i clean frenquently because i love weed dabs and bongs
that's called addiction man, don't listen to the morons that tell you weed cant be addictive. Try swapping it out for exercise and meditation both those things worked great for me.
harbinger I've seen this in a guy I know he's so into it i honestly think he will break down without it and have no clue what to do. It is very much a addiction
the only reason they reacted so positively was that they knew the experience would end and they’d be able to smoke without repercussions. if they were to quit for an indefinite time, they’d definitely feel more affects
yeah becuz weed is nice why not smoke it? i dont smoke anymore weed but i used to and i feel i would keep doing it but i just find it hard to moderate so keep it to a once/twice a year thing yk.
i find it quite funny that when buzzfeed had people not drink coffee for a week, they struggled more than the potheads and they say marijuana is addicting. Ha.
Cheque yes we coffee drinkers need our caffeine but I stepped off it for about a month and I feel much better
I quit smoking weed for 200 days and i felt no different at all. The idea of a habit/addiction to marijuana is really just in peoples heads.

You should try heroin. It's a real career booster.
Now the question is, are you smoking BEFORE your obligations or AFTER?
Nice one mate weed definitely gives you the brain power to accomplish more in life. I've been unable to get some for 6 and half months, , can honestly say it's much better when high life so much better and the mind is expanded.

*Addiction* is a strong word and it shouldn't be used when talking about weed users since the level of reliance is minimal and the withdrawal is pretty much nothing.

I love weed but I hate weed culture and the “it solves everything” mentality. Weed won’t kill you but it’s not for everyone.
It's important to note the negatives it has for instance being able to cause psychosis if you are predestined to get one.. still the benefits often outweigh the negatives but it's always important to make informed decisions and not getting influenced by the culture surrounding something.

Healthy people don't have the cognitive abilities to understand such a complex difference in lifestyle. when people say "weed is not addictive" but always complain that they need to smoke up ???? (yes ik not addictive like cigs but y'know what I mean)
MonsterDerpGirl B. Someone can get Addicted to weed. Don't let potheads tell you otherwise
Ronaldo Owino potheads arent the ones who say its not addictive, science literally fucking proved it.
It can be come emotionally addictive. Not physically addictive.
I smoke weed and for me its easy to stop for awhile. I dont like to, but sometimes my tolerance builds up and I need to take a tolerance break to save weed and money. It really depends on the person.
gwenyth jaide haha I definitely feel you on the tolerance and saving up for weed. It's necessary sometimes.
gwenyth jaide, I agree with you on that.

Kaylabayla oh my god THANK YOU! I just kept staring at it thinking how easily it would rip out and that there's no way a professional did that.

katie galivan the rat I agree sooooo much
wow.... i smoke weed pretty much everyday, but as soon as im out of weed and cant get more for a while i dont have problems not smoking. i mean, weed isnt addictive but i can clearly see what people mean when they say you develop a dependency on these people
^^ and with me, I'm almost everyday but sometimes I don't smoke for the smallest of reasons.
They just come from two different places the body and one from the mind.
when i run out yea of course it sucks and i want to smoke but i’m still just chiling lol
Lucky weeds my happiness

PeaceIsKey wow dude. i smoke twice a day usually. if not more. and next august i have to quit for the same reason lmao. USMC
Same for me bro. What MOS you doing?
You probably smoked a fuckton of blunts which arent that healthy for you
Hunter W. you sound 12. It's not the weed in the blunts that's hurting you it's the tabacco
Hunter W. well obviously too much of anything will kill you but that amount of weed is likely to be impossible to consume.
Shannon Tara Don't mean to intrude in just very interested in your story, what terrible experience did you have?
Shannon Tara sounds like a psychosis..
I think it was, I would like to know why it happened out of the blue, or if I was predisposed to this kind of thing.
Hey Shannon. That's exactly how my anxiety disorders were triggered about 4 years ago. I smoke a small amount of weed maybe three times a year. I don't miss it at all and I feel much better, my depression and derealisation have massively reduced and life in general is far, far better for me without pot.
craving an addiction are two different things crave weed you're not addicted to it
no, it's called psychological addiction. look it up.
Thomas Lally if you crave something that's not actually physically required (i.e. Water, food) then you have an addiction or dependency
Deneb Weed is less addictive than caffeine.
Thank you! I always tell my mom I'm simply craving cigarettes all the time.
It took me two weeks to feel normal. And that was only me smoking for 3 straight years. I got so irritable and sleep was non existent for the first two weeks. After that I felt amazing. Haven’t went back yet and it’s been 30 days.

Marijuana users can still be productive active members of society.

because everyone was able to stop cold turkey and not smoke for the rest of the week? what part of that says "addictive" to you?
"Everyone", I'd like to see this done with a sample of 100 people or so, and without cameras on them. I wonder how many people could actually go a week without it of their own free will. My guess would be close to zero.

I'm personally just tired of wanting to substitute so much of my life with m.j., so I'm going to start substituting m.j. with life.

this was a very good video in my opinion cause i struggled with quitting for so long it really helped put things in perspective for me
After a decade of smoking daily and consuming 1000mg/day, I decided to quit cold turkey.

@@justanotheryoutubeaccount8011 I stand by the idea of small amounts of weed. That way for one, you save money, weed, and you get more baked, but it also enables you to fully enjoy your day without the presence of weed, making it even better when you finally decide to smoke

WEED IS NOT ADDICTIVE, but can be correlated with dependency.
addiction is depenency bud... doesn't matter if it's physically or mentally
i think you have it wrong way around
there are so many other variables that can play into someone's behavior... marijuana stays in you system longer than you think, even if its not traceable in your urine or blood, it still lingers in your body, so one wouldn't experience withdrawals til after a lengthy amount if time.
www.thesaurus.com/browse/dependency
+Dylan Garza Physical dependency is the experience of chronic pain patients who are able to take their medication for pain but don't develop the uncontrollable compulsion.
Addiction is a condition manifesting as uncontrollable cravings, inability to control use and compulsive use.
The people in this video are clearly showing signs of addiction, and not physical dependency.
BTW phone, internet, and gaming are all addictive, not dependent. Know the difference before you decide to spew your idiocy.
You're not a stoner if you smoke to manage pain. If you smoke because you enjoy smoking weed you're a stoner.
Vanger48912 really? So because someone enjoys smoking recreationally they are a stoner, does that mean if someone likes to drink regularly they are a drunk?
If you drink 5 times a day then yes you are an alcoholic.
You're a stoner for smoking. Period.
thanks man
If you smoke weed regularly your a stoner
Shout out to the stoners that actually have friends still. I forgot what that feels like

More cheesy fake "be positive and give me a like" caps lock comments?
Quitting is a whole different thing when you dont have a blog or friends around u 24/7 to get ur head off of it
Weed is like junk food. If you occasionally treat yourself to a nice juicy burger it wont do you much harm. The same goes with occasionally smoking. If you eat too many burgers you start to run into a lot of problems the same goes for smoking.
Cannabis has a lot more health benefits than red meat...
fogaco Vitor oh ok but the only reason you even might even consider (don't know why you would ) weed giving you a life threatening illness or diagnosis is because some people mix cigarette or tobacco into their joints giving them like no term effects
nah that's not true but weed might make you run into the junk food problem lmao
i have no idea what you're trying to say, please work on your communication skills. i also smoke weed everyday from my big glass bong with 4 arm tree perc which i clean frenquently because i love weed dabs and bongs
fogaco Vitor I'm not even joking my earlier comment was for a completely different comment 😂 FAIL
I’m on a t break now and I didn’t care at all until my period started. Now I’m dying 😭😭 these videos are helping a lot
Isn't the blonde woman a mother of like, two?
Nadia Sayegh yeah and?
Nadia Sayegh Yeah
Nadia Sayegh yea
Nadia Sayegh yeah
Nadia Sayegh Actually a mother of 1 child. The wine mom is a mother of 2.
Does anyone else feel trapped like your life just won’t function without it even though you know it will?
that's called addiction man, don't listen to the morons that tell you weed cant be addictive. Try swapping it out for exercise and meditation both those things worked great for me.
harbinger you should get a counselor. they won’t judge you and could really help if you want to quit.
harbinger I've seen this in a guy I know he's so into it i honestly think he will break down without it and have no clue what to do. It is very much a addiction
thank you! good idea!
Shadow Zaron it’s an addiction to very weak minded, extremely impulsive people. Other then that most normal people can get off it easily.
You should film there reactions to trying weed after a week
the only reason they reacted so positively was that they knew the experience would end and they’d be able to smoke without repercussions. if they were to quit for an indefinite time, they’d definitely feel more affects
yeah becuz weed is nice why not smoke it? i dont smoke anymore weed but i used to and i feel i would keep doing it but i just find it hard to moderate so keep it to a once/twice a year thing yk.
