Two things can be correct at the same time, logically speaking... the problem is that a contradiction cannot exist in that scenario. A cannot be both A and non-A at the same time.

Why was the Koran translated out of Arabic in the first place, since you can't really understand it unless it's in the Arabic and then you'd still need the hadiths and tafsir and a scholar to explain it to you. And why are there so many different English versions of the Koran anyway? Isn't that a clear sign it's been corrupted?

Psalms 137 9 Happy is he who would take his enemy's babies and bash them into the rocks.
Deuteronomy 23:2 a bastard shall not enter heaven for eternity.
Then, in later versions, it says for 10 generations because they realize how bad that sounded, like this makes it any better.
You're so called holy book also says people who are bastards cannot go to church with people who are not bastards, so all the bastards just have to go to church together.

Saddens me that the enemy has deceived so many in a people group that was mistreated so much for so long. God loves those who were Downtrodden, and he will not forsake their descendants. Remember the Arabs Muslims and their ancestors for well over 1000 years had been enslaving Black people from Africa for over 1000 years. Then whites from Europe, and don’t forget the other tribes in Africa that bought and sold and kidnapped. Still happens.
God open the hearts of Black people of America to you again.

  • @80sGal88
    @80sGal88 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +9

There is a big difference between a question and an answer. There’s a difference between an opinion, and confirmation.
This is the work of the Satan at its finest. He knows where each person is and if he can access a person’s mind, that is where he can breed all kinds of confusion, deception, and into a life of falsehood. It’s always the condition of the heart. If you are willing to humble yourself before God and ask Him to show you truth, even if it challenges everything that you believe, you just want to be right in His sight, this is the way to true freedom. God is not a spirit of confusion and He longs to be known, but we must be humble to see Him and accept His way to real salvation. He’s not going to have you following Him, only to end up still without assurance of eternity.

The problem is atheists are right and religious people are right also, and both can not be more wrong because God exists and the intelligent creator of the universe is not what atheists call "sky daddy". The bloody debate is stagnated. To settle the debate you have to read Spinoza. You are ready to read Spinoza if you understand the atheist logical fallacy. Atheism is a logical fallacy that assumes God is the religious idea of the creator of the creation to conclude wrongly no creator exists because a particular idea of God doesn’t exist. Atheism is a logical fallacy that assumes God is "sky daddy" to conclude wrongly no creator exists because a particular idea of God doesn’t exist. To end Islam and the war you have to ask for proof that the Quran was memorized. Trust me. Thank you.

Besides the ridiculous argument that correct can mean non discriminatory. It seems to me his objection was being misunderstood. He was arguing Muhammad could have said both and Tabari was choosing the position he’s most familiar with. The problem with this argument is that both his listening skills and comprehension must be that of a donkey. First Tabari is saying he’s familiar with multiple iterations and is trying to solve a contradiction. On the second layer Muhammad is telling a story about a singular narrative; we know that because only one word changed. Unless Muhammad is doctor strange and can hope between universes, you would have to argue that the characters repeated the same narrative in the same dialogue but switched up the words.

The decisive statement in this argument against violent conversion is this: not to act in accordance with reason is contrary to God's nature.[5] The editor, Theodore Khoury, observes: For the emperor, as a Byzantine shaped by Greek philosophy, this statement is self-evident. But for Muslim teaching, God is absolutely transcendent. His will is not bound up with any of our categories, even that of rationality.[6] Here Khoury quotes a work of the noted French Islamist R. Arnaldez, who points out that Ibn Hazm went so far as to state that God is not bound even by his own word, and that nothing would oblige him to reveal the truth to us. Were it God's will, we would even have to practise idolatry.[7

Please abdools try to understand: if someone ask you a question that starts with " do you..? " the only answer can be given is YES or No. There is no third option...
If you use a third option that means that :
    A. You dont want to answer the question
    B. You are trying to avoid the question
    C. You are running from the question
All indicates that you are NOT honest and not worthy to continue the conversation
    You get it?? 😊

Here is dualism in practice. Even permitting shirk. A translation by Professor Theodore Khoury (Münster) of part of the dialogue carried on - perhaps in 1391 in the winter barracks near Ankara - by the erudite Byzantine emperor Manuel II Paleologus and an educated Persian on the subject of Christianity and Islam, and the truth of both.[1] It was presumably the emperor himself who set down this dialogue, during the siege of Constantinople between 1394 and 1402; and this would explain why his arguments are given in greater detail than those of his Persian interlocutor.[2]
In the seventh conversation (διάλεξις - controversy) edited by Professor Khoury, the emperor touches on the theme of the holy war. The emperor must have known that surah 2, 256 reads: "There is no compulsion in religion". According to some of the experts, this is probably one of the suras of the early period, when Mohammed was still powerless and under threat. But naturally the emperor also knew the instructions, developed later and recorded in the Qur'an, concerning holy war. Without descending to details, such as the difference in treatment accorded to those who have the "Book" and the "infidels

"Show me just what Mohammed brought that was new, and there you will find things only evil and inhuman, such as his command to spread by the sword the faith he preached.”[3] The emperor, after having expressed himself so forcefully, goes on to explain in detail the reasons why spreading the faith through violence is something unreasonable. Violence is incompatible with the nature of God and the nature of the soul. "God", he says, "is not pleased by blood - and not acting reasonably (σὺν λόγω) is contrary to God's nature. Faith is born of the soul, not the body. Whoever would lead someone to faith needs the ability to speak well and to reason properly, without violence and threats... To convince a reasonable soul, one does not need a strong arm, or weapons of any kind, or any other means of threatening a person with death...".[4]

Sources and footnotes . Why do you think Islam was so upset by the former popes academic persuits? [1] Of the total number of 26 conversations (διάλεξις - Khoury translates this as “controversy”) in the dialogue (“Entretien”), T. Khoury published the 7th “controversy” with footnotes and an extensive introduction on the origin of the text, on the manuscript tradition and on the structure of the dialogue, together with brief summaries of the “controversies” not included in the edition; the Greek text is accompanied by a French translation: “Manuel II Paléologue, Entretiens avec un Musulman. 7e Controverse”, Sources Chrétiennes n. 115, Paris 1966. In the meantime, Karl Förstel published in Corpus Islamico-Christianum (Series Graeca ed. A. T. Khoury and R. Glei) an edition of the text in Greek and German with commentary: “Manuel II. Palaiologus, Dialoge mit einem Muslim”, 3 vols., Würzburg-Altenberge 1993-1996. As early as 1966, E. Trapp had published the Greek text with an introduction as vol. II of Wiener byzantinische Studien. I shall be quoting from Khoury’s edition.
[2] On the origin and redaction of the dialogue, cf. Khoury, pp. 22-29; extensive comments in this regard can also be found in the editions of Förstel and Trapp.
[3] Controversy VII, 2 c: Khoury, pp. 142-143; Förstel, vol. I, VII. Dialog 1.5, pp. 240-241. In the Muslim world, this quotation has unfortunately been taken as an expression of my personal position, thus arousing understandable indignation. I hope that the reader of my text can see immediately that this sentence does not express my personal view of the Qur’an, for which I have the respect due to the holy book of a great religion. In quoting the text of the Emperor Manuel II, I intended solely to draw out the essential relationship between faith and reason. On this point I am in agreement with Manuel II, but without endorsing his polemic.
      [4] Controversy VII, 3 b-c: Khoury, pp. 144-145; Förstel vol. I, VII. Dialog 1.6, pp. 240-243.
[5] It was purely for the sake of this statement that I quoted the dialogue between Manuel and his Persian interlocutor. In this statement the theme of my subsequent reflections emerges.
      [6] Cf. Khoury, p. 144, n. 1.
[7] R. Arnaldez, Grammaire et théologie chez Ibn Hazm de Cordoue, Paris 1956, p. 13; cf. Khoury, p. 144. The fact that comparable positions exist in the theology of the late Middle Ages will appear later in my discourse.

Love these videos, very informative. But my only problem is not letting the muslim guy finish. I get it, his stance is incorrect, but I think it's better to let people get it out, then explain to them why they're incorrect. No one likes being cut off, and felt like their words don't matter, and it leads to arguing and frustration. Not saying you're not a Christian, just that I think it would be better to let them finish their thought unless they were being rude and disrespectful. Also not saying you dont always not let people finish.

Sometimes y’all do this gang on you tactic. If you’re going to discuss you have to let the person finish their thought and be tolerant cause you claim you love. What’s more important correcting someone statement or letting them finish speaking when they are asking you respectfully? Y’all young bulls I understand but that’s basic mannerism and a line of respectability. You’re telling him he’s wrong in between him speaking and yet he didn’t cut you off the first time you spoke. He told you make the point after he’s done not cut him off cause he has thoughts to point to doesn’t matter if you think he’s wrong. That’s not the point. And no non Muslim and Christian. Is a reason why Logic stays quite while he knows that interrupting is rude no matter what facts you have.

My question, why do Muslims have Hadiths, Tafsirs, Sunnas etc. Christians only rely on the Bible and the Bible alone to answer questions but they must go to a variety of different sources and you are none the wiser after been taken around the world with the Muslim Shuffle

      lol......
If you are talking about Hadiths, Tafsirs, and Sunnas, no, their moon god did not reveal these documents. A hadith includes all transmitted sayings or doings of the Prophet. Tafsir is suppose to be the explanation or interpretation of verses in the quran. The sunna refers to the practices, actions and the sayings of their fake prophet. It is suppose to be a "how to" guide on living a righteous life, if you can believe that. Evidently, even though the quran is supposed to be the clear word of their god, NO ONE can understand it. Thus, they had to create the hadith, tafsir and sunna for enlightenment.
