A child is not MARRIED though until they become an adult. At that time, of maturity, THAT is when they give consent and that is when they get married. This is the same in Christianity. They could be betrothed as early as seven, for example, and in some cases even earlier but they could not actually consummate their marriage (which is what married actually means) until they reached puberty or reached the age of 12 (if going by Biblical scripture and the custom of the Jews).

When u argue an issue with muslims in the qur4n verse , they say its translation & ask for its 4rabic version. When u show them its 4rabic, they ask for the tafsir. When the tafsir aggee with u, they say tafsir is manmade & can be wrong. When u push them for its verse meaning, they come up with their understandings by simply reading the text. Rebecca’s young age is alluded too in Genesis 24:57-59. The following verse corroborates with the previous evidences shown that Rebekah, was a very young girl when she got married. She was so young that she needed a nursing woman with her when she was married off:
“Then they said, “Let’s call the young woman and ask her about it.” 58 So they called Rebekah and asked her, “Will you go with this man?” “I will go,” she said. 59 So they sent their sister REBEKAH ON HER WAY, ALONG WITH HER NURSE and Abraham’s servant and his men. 60 And they blessed Rebekah and said to her.” - Genesis 24:57-60

We all know Muhammed married Aisha who was a child but did anyone question why Muhammed married a child when he was already married to Sawdah his second wife? Why did He also marry a few more women when Aisha was 8 years old? What was the need of so many wives?
Aisha was not married until she was nine years old. She was not a child then as adulthood and legal responsibility is at puberty in Islam. Each of his wives was for a particular reason, similar to kings and rulers of other places. Sometimes to build ties between people, sometimes as an example for other men to follow like marrying older, widowed women; each marriage according to what God instructed him to do.

The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) married me when I was seven years old. The narrator Sulaiman said: or Six years. He had intercourse with me when I was nine years old. Aisha [RA], in Sunan an-Nasa'i 3378; Vol. 4, Book 26, Hadith 3380
That's what the hadith says, but not the Quran, the Holy Book of the Muslims. Hadiths are man made collections, containing 'hear says' and 'heresies' with the 'authors' themselves requesting the 'audience' to reject any hadith should they find it unacceptable, citing human errors or intentional manipulations over passage of time.
As such the said hadith, upon scrutiny turns out to be one that must have been manipulated by the enemies of 'truth', because historic events tells us that Ayesha must have been around 16 at marriage and 19 at 'consummation'.
