    Review and thoughts on my Yamaha X-Max 300. I had previously uploaded a video but unfortunately the sound quality on it is awful due issues with the mic. I have now changed the mic and hope I have redeemed myself a little with this upload. Please like, subscribe, comment and hit the bell icon. I hope to do a review from a short rider perspectrive of a BMW R1250GS in Low Suspension soon so if you subscribe and hit the bell icon you will get notified when I upload it. I am 5'5" tall, 30 inch inseam, 65KG.
    Recorded on a Drift Ghost X with a Lavalier mic with a DIY fix to the inside of my helmet with a 3.5mm to 3.5mm (I know it's the same size) adapter which resolved the sound problem.
    Video Editing using Adobe Premiere Rush.

I’m on a BMW R1200GS and thinking of dropping down to something like this as these days I’m just commuting to and from work, the GS is a lot of bike for those small journeys. 9/10 for your review, thank you

      I had the 2014 Forza which had a tiny windscreen that didn't give any wind protection. On the X-Max I have the Givi windscreen fitted as I mentioned on the video. It provides better rain protection but with some buffeting.

    Did you purposely go slow for the first 1000 miles like Yamaha recommends for the break-in period? What are you thoughts on that?

    • @InfusedBiker

    • @InfusedBiker
      @InfusedBiker  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I can't remember off the top of my head but I think you have to keep it below 5000 revs (might have to check your owner's manual). So whatever speed you reach within the limit of the revs is ok. But when I bought it the dealer told me to be just sensible with revs for the break in period.

    i own one, its a 2017 model, with 3000, miles on it, (5000km) i had it 4 days and 180 miles and it broke down! the shop has had it 3 weeks, they think its the fuel pump? Have ordered one but still no parts arrived from EU. its now entering week 4 and still nothing.
    Pretty disappointed tbh as wanted to put serious miles on it and even do a Vlog on here every so many weeks if there was interest. But unfortunately as the bike shop have owned it more than me i cant do this. If anyone knows of any issues with the Xmax 300 then please do let me know.
