Hackchi is a great program, I hope that when Nintendo brings out the N64 classic mini that the people who made hackchi will upgrade it so that it can also be used for that console as well.

I've pressed the reset button, powered it on while doing that, and still held down on the reset button 3-4 seconds after, then let go. I've also tried four different USB cables (they are all working fine with other gadgets), so I don't know where I'm going wrong. I might just give up :/

@@mihaimustaciosu dumping the kernel can't break anything, it's not even necessary but just in case. you can skip it and be fine or just do it again if you want
Didn't work for me either, I tried multiple times and nothing. I did it exactly to the letter. It let's me load up the new games and I see the covers of them but as soon as I start one, the dame thing throws me out. Any advice? Also at first it's telling me to download Net firmware, 4.6.1? Don't know if I should do it or it's something with a virus.
Cant you just hook it up to pc (with the USB includes) and out the games on the USB? Then you could maybe do it without the risk of bricking your console?
When I go to Kernel, I get 3 +1 options: Install/Repair, Reset, Uninstall. The last option is :Advanced. Boot Original Kernel from ROM, Boot Custom Kernel from ROM, Boot Recovery Kernel from ROM, Dump Original Kernel (Legacy) Other option and last: Factory Reset. Which one should I select to dump kernel?
Hakchi completely got frozen when I clicked on install driver and I had to force close the software and now it's stuck I guess I'm completely screwed ??? Ps sorry if I get some words wrong, English isn't my first language
I can't see how you can brick your SNES if you back up your original firmware..... Let me explain 1. You dump your firmware let say you did turn off your unit as you dump, Your taking a copy, Not replacing it, like copying a file from a folder you click copy your just about to paste and the PC resets your copy's gone but you original file would still be there. 2. You select to burn over the new custom firmware OMG there's a power cut and its just half done a Brick you say? No! you can go back and eather try again install the custom firmware or re install your backup to standard firmware...... Why have l gone to all this trouble because this chap my have put a scare in you but don't worry stay calm and you will have the games installed in no time with this superb software!

Can someone please help I've downloaded hakchi I've got winrar and I've got retroarch as my emulator . I can play any snes game on retro arch no problem . When I select the roms I want to import into hakchi it come up with an error message and won't let me put them in the add games section I've tried everything I can think of what am I doing wrong why won't it accept the roms because they are working perfectly fine on the emulator ?.

I got it working but installed retroarch emulator as the standard didn't play certain games I wanted.

make sure the ROM you are using is from the same region as the SNES mini console, NTSC for American consoles and PAL for Europe ect.

I've just installed Hackchi version CE v3 5.2, used Patton plays channel for a more in depth install, but everything's working fine
A lot of the Retro Hand held consoles like Anbernic and Retropocket allow you to hook to a monitor now.

Might be a faulty rom, sometimes they don't work. Try downloading a different version of the same game.
