Cool, I've never had one of the PN2/2E units as I went from an R series to a PN12 version 1 and I had to replace two major components in the latter. I had to replace the cover plate and what Rexair calls the manifold (the piece that acts as the main mount chassis and, well, manifold for the nozzle) as mine had a broken upright latch. I wouldn't mind having a PN3 as it is an upgraded PN2 series unit with the added features of the PN12 v.2 and the R series slider valve.
If nothing else, these Rainbow PN refurbs show how near-bulletproof those little GS Electric motors are. (Plus this'll help when I go to rebuild by Dirt Devil Broom Vac's own GS motor.)
Dude, no WD-40 was used in this video or any of my videos to lubricate bearings. I used blue can 3-in-1, which is rated for the sleeve bearing. Did you miss that perhaps?

Do you like older vacuums or newer ones and do you ever sell any of your vacuums
Performance and usability are my highest priorities, not age. And I don't sell my vacuums because I'm not done testing them yet. 😁
Mine is still working after 20 years of regular use.
my power nozzle is shaking a lot and it's noisy. What should I do?
Get it serviced.
Can you do your oldest vacuum vs your newest vacuum
My oldest is a Kirby D80 and newest is a Royal Pro series. Their respective playlists can show you some of the differences.
What if motor is turning and comutator is sparking?
You can try reseating by using a seating stone if nothing is damaged.
I do not recommend using WD-40 as a bearing grease it makes a bearing sound so dry I much prefer a Lucas heavy duty grease

VacLab I was saying that for everybody in the comments I even I use 3in1oil in bearings
VacLab I also have the exact same pen 2 power nozzle
Good job
The motor sparked
News flash, electric motors spark, especially old ones.
Ok thank you I didn't know that
