Is the ONAN a 16hp or 18hp. I love Opposing engines. I own a few of them, I have a 18 hp on a large Bowens tractor, Thats also a Onan, and 3 Generators all Onan's 2 cylinders, Good Luck with Your Build
If you Plan on driving it a long way, make sure you Have a extra coil, I have a few on Hand for Onan 2 cylinders, Only Problem I have ever had was with, Coil's they Sell them On Ebay at a good price
When you're too cheap to spend $8k on a genuine Model T... I have an old small Onan genset. Maybe I should cobble together a vintage Harley style board track racer frame and shove that in, lol. Could even make it a hybrid, lol. An IV bag and stand is great for gravity feeding fuel into a small carbureted motor for testing. Running it this way is a great way to rupture the diaphragm on an old fuel pump. You have to prime a dry fuel pump.

Lever on the fuel pump is a manual primer.
