Way back then, everyone was told that "tough love" from the loved ones would shock,scare, depress etc all addicts into the ultimate cure. This resulted in so very many people dying. Sadly, many people died before this insane and horrible treatment was abolished!
What else could she have done? If you have a family member who is deep into drugs that is destroying their life... and they won't stop it, what else can you do? You have to set boundaries so you don't get dragged into it as well.

They were heaven sent is all I can say. I won’t say one is better than the other, because that is just not true. What I see with these wonderful brothers is true uniqeness. One of my favorite memories I got to sit next to Victoria Principle at lunch when they shot a scene from the tv show Dallas at the airport I worked at and they used our hanger to set up the lunch for the crew and of course invited us because it was our hanger…OMG she was so beautiful….what a great day that was ….

Unfortunately he was in way over his head with any woman. He couldn’t stop doing cocaine. She loved him but she had enough and left. And that crushed him because he lost the love of his life because he couldn’t give up drugs. Such a sad ending.
