- From our 2nd Season of Paramount's hit 80s TV series, "SOLID GOLD", enjoy our host, ANDY GIBB and OLIVIA NEWTON-JOHN singing their hit, REST YOUR LOVE ON ME", arranged and produced by myself (Solid Gold's musical director and theme composer, Michael Miller - aka "Mickle"). This performance aired on September 12, 1981.

Andy left us too soon. Its tragic that depression and drugs would take him away. He was famous talented and handsome. He couldnt handle fame. He will be remembered as young talented and beautiful. Olivia newton john left us recently. She had a beautiful voice. They harmonize wonderfully together. Rest in peace andy and olivia.

I was an Olivia Newton-John fan for 50 years and I will forever miss her. I was also a huge fan of Andy Gibb and they both left us far too soon. They came from such a great era of music along with groups like Abba and the Bee Gees, John Denver and so many more.
You're right. The singers and music performers of that era which you mentioned will never be duplicated, they were absolutely unique 👌🏼

I am listening to this and crying😢 Olivia was my idol and she was so beautiful and a great singer. And Andy was so great too.handsome and a great voice. Andy had been gone 34 years when Olivia passed. That's crazy. I hope they are together serenading everyone with their beautiful voices

Andy was blessed with a nice unique voice like his brothers. Talented family.
Let's be honest here, his voice was weak and he appealed only to teenage girls. His brothers voices were marginally better, but they more than made up for it, with their songwriting skills.

Andy didnt see his own talent, he was every bit as good as his brothers. He always felt he never measured up, which is so sad. He was incredibly talented and so stinkin' handsome too! Man! I had his albums and really enjoyed them. Rest in oeace Andy and Oliivia Newton John, beautiful voice! Loved it!❤
